Thank you for the ARC and to the publisher canceling the publication. I will not be reviewing as it will no longer be published.
DNF'd after the controversy came out with this author. Will not support a review-bombing author <3 thank you for the opportunity, and thank you to the publisher for no longer moving forward with this book.
I truly wish this book got a chance but author shouldn’t have done what they did. It wasn’t really my specific taste in books but it was okay. I’m giving 3.5 but since I can’t give that I’ll give 4. Thanks for sending me a copy
Unfortunately I will not be finishing this given the authors recent actions. It’s really disappointing because I feel like she had a lot of potential.
Due to the author's actions and the book being pulled from publication, I will not be reading or reviewing this title.
I was overall not a fan of this book. I had high anticipations and from the beginning to the end it just did not deliver for me.
Because this book will no longer be published and I do not agree with the actions by the author, I will not be reviewing this book. Thank you for letting me have the chance to read this earlier though.
Given everything that's happened and the fact that this book won't be published anymore, I won't be reading or reviewing it.
Thank you to Del Rey for originally granting me this ARC, I will not be reviewing for obvious reasons.
There is a great deal of controversy about this book, and due to this I feel immensely uncomfortable leaving a review. I’m grateful for NetGalley but cannot support this kind of behavior from authors.
Unfortunately I feel comfortable rating this one. I hope this author finds the help she obviously needs. Since this has now been pulled by the publisher I won't be leaving an official review.

With all that has released about what the author has been doing by reviewing other authors, I in good conscience cannot read and review this book.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book. However, due to recent events that have been brought to light I will not be reviewing this book.
I know all greek retellings are fanfiction in a sense, however this one feels exceptionally like fanfiction in it's lack of originality. I was waiting for it to do something to really make itself stand out, but I have read better queer Greek retellings that feel like an homage to the source while also being exceptional in it's own right. This is not that.
Will not be reviewing this even though I read it, I do not want to support this author because of the way she treated fellow debut authors.
Thanks so much to Del Rey for the chance to read this! I finished a few weeks ago and have been thinking over the read. I loved the open conceit, and there's something quite badass about a marriage of convenience between a princess and god. But ultimately, the story just fell flat for me. There is a lot of classical references and complex, overly discussed power dynamics, which make it hard to really believe in their quickly seeded love. Also, the action only amps up in the final 100 pages or so (I realize this is a duology, so that makes sense, but left for an uneven read).
All in all, I'm grateful to have had a peek at this new title, but I'm not sure I'd read the second part. More dedicated space opera fans will feel differently though. Thanks again!
Thank you for the ARC. Unfortunately, after having learned about the actions of the author I cannot review this book.
Thank you for approving me, but unfortunately I will not be reading this ARC after receiving information about disturbing actions by the author.
I unfortunately can’t review this book due to the racism exhibited by this author. Basing on other authors with horrible racist comments won’t be tolerated.
