Will not be reading this book after the author's actions.

I did read one chapter of this prior to the news breaking, and I didn't like the writing at all. Too much emphasis in every sentence in every paragraph.

I am disappointed by the actions taken by this author in regards to the Goodreads review fiasco. I had to rate this 1 star.

Thank you for this ARC, however, I cannot, in good conscious, support or review an author who admittedly engaged in unethical behavior towards her fellow authors in an attempt to promote her book. I am relieved that the book has been removed from the 2024 publishing schedule. I hope that Del Rey will not, in the future, promote this book or work with this author.

I will not be reviewing or reading this book because of this author's actions towards other authors. It is very disgusting and disappointing that she slanders and reviews bombs other authors. There was no need for that and it just means that she lost so much support for her book now.

Due to this book being removed from the publishing timeline of the publishing company I will not be reviewing this book.

I got about 42 pages into this book when the controversy surrounding the author hit. I was honestly struggling with the concept because it felt like many genres in one and was having trouble figuring out the story. I’m sure I would have stuck with and finished it but do not forsee it having being an above 3 star read. Due to the controversy surrounding the author and their alleged actions I will not be continuing my read of this arc.

Due to the controversy around this author and the fact the book has been pulled from publications, I will not be reading and reviewing this book. Thank you for the publisher for providing a copy, I am leaving this non review to clear it from my review list on NetGalley.

I read this book a number of months ago before the despicable actions of this author were put out in the public.

Unfortunately while I had a good time with this book I will not be recommending it to my customers or fellow booksellers. (Now the book has been pulled from publication.)

This book was interesting to read and had lots of potential. I liked the Greek mythology retelling, and the romance was good. Unfortunately, the author's actions were not good, and I'm thankful that the publisher has removed this from their publishing timeline.

I did enjoy this book but felt that it dragged in the beginning a lot. I had to push through the beginning but once I got into it I enjoyed it. It was a unique take on Greek Mythology and a good retelling. Unfortunately due to the author review bombing other debut authors I will not be continuing.

I will not be reading or reviewing this book in light of recent issues with the author. Thank you Del Ray for your swift handling of the situation.
