Whilst this was well written and an easy read, I had issues with some of the characters and plot line! The wardrobe secret was predictable, Megan was annoying but Little Ollie was adorable however!
What a ride - it kept me reading well beyond bedtime!
Having a nanny always means your relationship comes under scrutiny, and someone else learns your secrets.
What a crazy ride! I loved this book!
Megan and Jake hire a Ellie, a young employee of Jake's, to nanny their two young children. Ellie is impressed by their beautiful glass house, but quickly learns Megan and Jake are not a perfect couple. Megan is extremely hostile toward her husband, which also quickly translates to Ellie. Ellie is put off by Megan, and this only worsens as time goes on. Jake is incredibly nice, charming, and good looking. Ellie does not understand why Jake would stay with Megan, who bullies him daily.
By the time it is too late, Ellie realizes that she has made a mistake staying on as Megan and Jake's nanny. And once she is blamed for a crime she did not commit, there is no escaping.
Secrets and twists galore! The story starts from Ellie's POV, before switching to Megan and Jake's POVs. When you see pivotal scenes played out from different perspectives, it really feeds into the unreliable narrator trope, forcing the reader to question every POV. This really helps to keep the novel super suspenseful and the reader guessing until the end.
Domestic thrillers involving nannies are a well used plot line in this genre. However, Browne does an excellent job at avoiding reinventing the wheel and offering a fresh take. The packed twists and turns make this a super exciting read! I finished this book in one day, as I could not put it down. I was invested in the characters and the story and could not wait to see where the author was taking us.
This was my first Sheryl Browne novel. I really enjoyed her writing style and ability to draw the reader in. Definitely will be reading more from her!
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Sheryl Browne continues to impress me with her novels. We all keep secrets is a psychological thriller that was captivating and impossible to put down. It was interesting to read because of the different points of view, which assisted with character development and reader knowledge of each character. Ellie, a young girl in her early twenties becomes the nanny for Jake and Megan after their previous nanny has suddenly disappeared. Ellie has no idea what she has walked into. While she enjoys caring for the children, she experiences difficulty with Megan. Jake is overly kind and helpful to Ellie, but this is the total opposite of Megan. From the beginning, Megan is unkind to Ellie and blames her for mishaps that she had no involvement in. This story line was interesting and starts off with mystery as something obviously occurred with the previous nanny that had ghosted the family. I really found myself disliking Megan, until events were told from her point of view. The alternating points of view really made the story come alive for me. I was drawn into the characters and their personalities. I found myself liking some, such as Ellie, and really disliking others, Megan. This book embodies many of the characteristics of a good psychological thriller such as: plenty of action, plot twists, and a surprise ending. This book did not disappoint. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.
We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne was an addictive read, at least for me, from the very start with twists I kinda enjoyed.
We get to follow 3 pov: the nanny and the kids parents. The first half of the book is focus on the nanny and then the second half is split between the dad and mother.
I enjoyed the story and I felt for the kids but the other characters I couldn't fall for but that didn't matter thanks to good writing and as I mention a good story.
If you are a fan of domestic thrillers then this might be a book for you. Now I am looking forward to read something else by this author.
This book started off with promise if not with predictability - young woman with secrets gets seduced by older man who has 'problems' with his wife. There were some questionable things that happened e.g. deciding to wash your hair on your first time of babysitting someone! Some repetitiveness which did detract from the enjoyablness of the book.
Ellies boss offers her the opportunity to be his children’s caretaker. She is glad to accept but is haunted by her past; the death of 2 young boys on her conscience. She believe this time things will be different. Soon she is caught between her too familiar boss and his calculating wife.
I enjoyed it this book, the plot was interesting until the very end. It gave me Housemaid vibes! I look forward to reading more books by Sheryl’ Brown!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
I read the printed version and listened to the audio version as well.
I just wasn’t a fan of this bizarre book. Unlikable characters and confusing storyline.
I was not a fan.
I received an arc copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest opinion of it. This book was so ridiculous that I couldn't get past 30 percent. The main character was so naive and there was so much repitiveness. Mom tells Nanny to stay out of master bedroom and not to touch her stuff. So what does the nanny do on her very first night of work? Not only goes into the master bedroom but washes her hair using all the woman's products and blow dryer because her hair was greasy lol. Next time, Mom tells her not to touch her things, nanny goes into master bedroom and uses her makeup. It was just too much for me. Said nanny acted like she was 12. If I am not into a book by 30 percent, I am moving on to another one.
After sleeping on the ending of this book……..I don’t have much more to say than I did when I originally finished it. For me, this was another read I hated to love.
I hate the main character (like, come on….you fall for your perfect boss day 1?). I hate the manipulation from the husband’s side and from the wife’s side. There are 2 sides to every story, and in this one there are 3 (and they all look very different).
I HATE that the ending….you know who actually killed the baby, BUT you don’t know which manipulator had you fooled.
I am going to give this a 4 ⭐️ (rounded up from 3.5), because it’s been a while since a book has gotten me wishing it were on audiobook so I could FIGURE OUT THE ENDING without having to stop my daily tasks (all that to say if I wasn’t reading, I was thinking about this book and the final outcome😂).
We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne and Narrated by Tamsin Kennard was one of the best audiobooks I have listened to in a long time. I was completely gripped from the beginning till the end and I ended up listening to it whilst I was doing my weekly shopping! Multi tasking at its very best! lol
Sheryl has a brilliant way of writing, especially as you feel you're apart of all of her books she has written. This one has great and told by multiple POVs which was full of sinister twists and turns and sitting on the edge of your seat or shouting out aloud whilst shopping! lol
I felt like I was a fly on the wall whilst listing to this
I loved this audiobook and I did not want it to finish.........
I highly recommend this book and looking forward to read or listen her next book/s -
Another superb read. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Big thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Sheryl Browne for my ARC of We All Keep Secrets in exchange for an honest review.
I really like Sheryl Browne's books, but I just couldn't get into this one. Ellie was so unbelievably irritating and the choices she made too far fetched. Sorry it just wasn't for me.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC in return for my honest review.

Sipping thoughts: If you are looking for a book that will keep you second-guessing and changing your mind every chapter then this is the one for you. Even after reading it, I am still unsure what I believe. This book is filled of lies, deceit, gaslighting, and betrayal. I really wanted the ending to be different but I can also see this book having a sequel with the way it ended.
Cheers and thank you to @Bookouture and @Netgalley for an advanced copy of @WeAllKeepSecrets.

This wasn’t my favourite by Sheryl Browne but it was still an enjoyable read !!!
Ellie takes a babysitting job from her boss Jake , as soon as she starts she is instantly at loggerheads with Jakes wife Meghan whonseems to enjoy belittling her at every moment . Nothing is as it seems and Ellie doesn’t know who to trust and when a terrible tragedy occurs it seems Ellie has been made a scapegoat and is in serious trouble
Good read with a good twist would recommend !
We all keep secrets...do we? Except in Jake and Megan's case they really didn't. They shouted them from the rooftops in a bid to outwit the other. This entire domestic debacle is a shouting match from start to finish. I don't know who's worse as they are both as bad as each other. And Ellie? She's a deluded fool. There were warning bells and red flags flashing all about that house and still she stayed. I would have run a mile.
It is hard to like any of the handful of characters in this very messy tale. Because none of them are likeable. And none of them are completely believable either. So who is telling the biggest whoppers of them all?
And then there are the children. Six year old Ollie and three month olf Fern, who becomes a tragic victim at the centre of this nightmare. Both who completely deserved better. And still Jake and Megan scream at other. In front of their children, in front of Ellie, in front of dinner guests. Have they no shame?
It's clear the marriage is in tatters and it's beyond me why either of them stayed. And yet it's a secret that keeps them bound to each other. That and the kids. But really? And was it all worth it? For one of them, probably; for the other, definitely not. The entire book was a cat and mouse game between them that I just wanted to bang their heads together and couldn't wait to escape their presence altogether. The pair of them were clearly toxic.
The first half of the book is told from unsuspecting Ellie's perspective before we move into the second half which alternates between Jake and Megan's inflammatory narratives, most of which retells the first half but from their perspective. And then we get a different insight into what was actually happening when Ellie opened the door to find Jake there or when she was walking down the stairs as Megan came storming in. While it did provide a few insights it wasn't all that enlightening because it was clear they were both nutters anyway.
And then there was the ending. I was disappointed in that and unfortunately it fell a little flat for me. I was hoping for a twist that was bound to shock or surprise (as Sheryl has been known to do) but none materialised and the epilogue simply left me frustrated and unsatisifed. I mean, what? After the build up and that's what happened?
The writing was skillful and it was was well-plotted. I just didn't warm to any of the characters and was left disappointed for an ending I stuck around for expecting better. Not a bad read but not one of her best either. But never fear...Sheryl is a skilled writer with a fantabulous library of thrillers under her belt so I know that while I may not enjoy every book, her next one will probably leave me breathless.
I would like to thank #SherylBrowne, #Netgalley and #Bookouture for an ARC of #WeAllKeepSecrets in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a intense thriller that keeps you guessing who can you really believe until the very last page! What starts out as a simple trial run for a nanny position turns into a match of keeping the children safe while trying to find out what secrets are really being kept by mom and dad and how do you find out the truth of what really happened to the previous nanny? Ellie makes the fateful choice to watch over her handsome boss Jake's children after the previous nanny left all of a sudden. Jake doesn't run this by wife and mom Megan, which sets off a fateful set of events that leads to life changing secrets being exposed and ending in avoidable tragedy. Ellie being in the middle of Jake and Megan's secrets turns out to be what finally brings all the secrets to the surface. Definitely will be looking for more books by Sheryl Browne as this one was a great psychological thriller!!
While there were many reasons I kept reading this book, I can honestly say I was just glad when I was finished with it. It was way too repetitive for me. The first half of the book is from the nanny's point of view. Then it switches to the pov of the husband and wife. And we basically get the whole story again. There wasn't enough new information to really keep me intrigued. No big twist or anything to give me a wow moment.
Thank you Netgalley for the prerelease ebook.
I found We All Keep Secrets to be a good read. It was a little predictable in places but had some good twists and turns to keep me interested and I would recommend it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.
Megan and Jake Harrington hire 21-year-old Ellie Taylor to care for their six-year-old boy, Ollie, and three-month-old baby, Fern after their au pair leaves them stranded. It’s all going well…until it isn’t. Ellie has no idea, no understanding of the depth and the width of what she has become part of, and has no idea how to stop it once she realizes it. From the beginning, every one of Browne’s characters is deceptive and it’s up to the reader to wade through the ambiguity, half-truths, manipulation, secrets, and lies to figure out the truth.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
This book was filled with so many secrets which seems weird in a house made of glass. The three main characters were annoying at times but that means the author is doing her job. This thriller had me going from start to finish. Filled with lies, cheating, hidden secrets and anger issues, this book has all the ingredients I enjoy. It was a little bit predictable but I still enjoyed this book and will be reading more of Sheryl Browne.
