Ellie gets herself entangled in her boss’s toxic marriage after agreeing to become their nanny. Mrs. Harrington, Megan is absolutely horrid to her devoted husband, Jake keeps taking her abuse. Why? Because they have secrets. Secrets that would destroy them if ever found out. Ellie has a secret herself she’s been keeping.
Ellie instantly falls in love with the Harrington’s sweet little boy, so she stays on caring for Ollie and baby Fern, enduring a volatile Mrs. Harrington. Along the way, Ellie falls for Jake, of course, predictable. He seems to fall for her too. Then baby Fern is found dead after a party and Ellie is blamed.
Twist, turns and surprising secrets are unveiled in this page-turning domestic thriller! It was a very easy read and I loved it!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for another awesome ARC in exchange for my opinion!
A domestic thriller by Sheryl Browne. The book is told in dual perspective.
This thriller is surrounded around Ellie who is offered a job by Jake her boss to babysit his child as he & his wife Megan juggle their hectic career life. Jake & his wife Megan live in a glass house which hold many secrets, on the other hand, Ellie tries to reveal these secrets while she tries hiding her own.
Though the plot was intriguing, the characters were something, I honestly didn't like at all. I really felt for the child & specially for Ollie. Though all the major twist and turns come in the end.
Overall, a good read with short chapter, if you like reading a domestic thriller.
Thanks to @netgalley, the publishers @Bookouture and author @sherylbrowne
When Ellie agrees to babysit for her boss, Jake, she sees it as an amazing opportunity to make some extra cash. Holding onto her own past and secrets, Ellie is happy for the chance. As time passes after she accepts a full time position with the family, she quickly realizes she has made a huge mistake. A mistake that may end up costing her her freedom.
The couple seems toxic and as Ellie struggles with her attraction to Jake and her disbelief that he would stay with a woman he clearly does not love. As the narration switches, we learn that everything is not as it seems. Everyone has secrets.
Highly recommended! Great read.
* I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book from NetGalley and Bookouture in exchange for my honest review.
A great read with a whole array of complex characters making you question every move by any of them. A very engaging read
This book was really difficult to get into. A broken marriage that looks perfect from the outside. A new nanny who maybe didn’t 100% meet qualifications but works with the husband. Very predictable and confusing at some points as it is retelling from all three perspectives. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I received this book from NetGalley.
Jake hardly knows Ellie and he's telling her far too much about his marriage. Ellie is his employee and she does not need to know that him and his wife are having problems.
Ellie decides that Jake is the perfect guy and that his wife is horrid. Maybe that's the case, maybe it's not, but she really doesn't know him that well. Truthfully, she barely knows him and has based this on the snippets she sees of their life and the fact that she's attracted to him.
This book is full of twists and turns but honestly the characters are so delusional that I wasn't happy with how the book ended. There were just too many things that I didn't feel were knotted together.
In the end, Jake and Ellie deserve eachother. A bit of a shock ending
Another fantastic book by Sheryl Browne.
We All Keep Secrets is an amazing thriller that had me on the edge off my seat, I couldn't put it down.
Woah! This was intense! I loved every page, there are twists for days!
The main characters were perfection, dark, controlling, selfish but so vulnerable in thier own ways.
I loved the twists and turns and seeing everyone’s reactions and how they all saw the events differently, despite them seeming to use everything to their own advantage!
I’m excited to read more by the author.

We all Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne is a domestic thriller that follows 21 year old Ellie who is hired by Jake and Megan to look after their six year old son Ollie and three-month old baby Fern. Everything is going well.. until it isn't.
I was intrigued by the prologue. As the first half is narrated by Ellie, we get a peek into the lives of Megan and Jake filled with secrets, lies and half-truths.
It becomes a case of 'He did', 'She did' as the author keeps us in suspense all the way through that made me keep reading till the end. However the ending fell flat for me as there was no major twist.
The second half is narrated from the PoVs of Jake and Megan and while it was interesting to get their perspectives, the plot started getting repetitive.
Overall an entertaining read for domestic suspense lovers. Thank you @bookouture for having me on the #booksontour and @netgalley for the advance digital copy to read and review.
Secrets galore made this a gripping read. The first part of the book was told as Ellie's POV. The second part tells the story from Jake and Megan's POV. A lot of repetition but this is where the secrets start to emerge. I didnt particularly like any of the three main characters , but what a great story it was !!
Many thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in return for an honest review
Another great psychological thriller by Sheryl Browne!
Ellie doesn’t exactly enjoy her job at PCs Plus Peripherals however it pays the rent on her little bedsit and that’s the main thing especially after leaving her last job in childcare under a shadow. Her boss, Jake Harington, is the stuff most of the female staffs’ fantasies are made of and so makes the job a little more enjoyable. One day Jake asks Ellie whether she would babysit his 6 year old son and 3 month old baby girl Fern, for him and his wife Megan, as Ellie has childcare experience, Ellie jumps at the chance happy to earn a bit of extra money. When she turns up for the evening at the Harington’s she falls in love with their little boy Ollie almost immediately and is happy to look after him and Fern despite Megan seeming very put out and reluctant to have Ellie as a babysitter. That evening Ellie soon realises that all is not well in the Harington’s household with the atmosphere between Jake and Megan icy at best and Megan’s attitude towards Ellie even colder. Ellie doesn’t want to return but when the next day Megan takes Ellie for a coffee and apologises for her behaviour, Ellie thaws slightly. Megan asks Ellie if she would consider childminding on a more permanent basis, Ellie deliberates but after Megan says they will pay her more than she is getting at the shop and also will get her a car Ellie decides it would be foolish to turn the offer down and agrees. However, Ellie doesn’t bank on developing feelings for Jake, feelings which seem to be reciprocated…. but Ellie soon starts to wonder who she can trust, is Jake really the hard done by husband? And is Megan the bitch she portrays? Ultimately what happened to their last childminder Phoebe and where did she disappear to?!!
Wow this story was definitely a ride and a half!! I have to admit I didn’t like any of the three main characters, Ellie, Jake or Megan and I got extremely frustrated with Ellie ignoring every single red flag that she came across. In fact, I rolled my eyes so many times at her thoughts and actions I am shocked my eyes aren’t stuck in the back of my head! However, great writing by Sheryl Browne to make me feel so strongly about a character. I really enjoyed hearing the story from the three main characters point of view and getting a good feel for their characters. The twist at the end did shock me as I didn’t see it coming which is always great.
Overall, another solid psychological thriller from Sheryl Browne. She never lets me down and I know when I pick up one of her books I am going to enjoy it. Well deserved 4 stars and I definitely recommend this for psychological thriller fans!
Thank you to NetGalley, Sheryl Browne and Bookouture my advanced reading copy. Out now.
This one was a good’un. Told from the points of view of 3 of the main characters. Sheryl Browne knows how to weave a good story to the point you don’t know who to trust. As each character tells their storyline your thoughts change but you just never figure it all out until the last moment. I can’t say I really liked any of the characters - Ellie I found her naivety irritating and Jake and Megan just came across as downright horrible. But maybe that’s the point and you’re not meant to like them. This one got me through a marathon pre-Christmas clean and had me enthralled throughout. Great storytelling…

A domestic thriller full of secrets and lies and possibly the most toxic marriage you're ever likely to read about.
Jake and Megan look like they have it all. Successful businesses, a showhome that sounds like it would have appeared on Grand Designs, and two young children.
But despite having been in love or maybe they still are in some weird way it is very obvious from the beginning that they hate each other.
Why are they still together? What secrets are forcing them to torture themselves in this way?
Into this tense atmosphere comes 21year old Ellie, drafted in at the last minute to babysit.
We know from the prologue that Ellie is being accused of killing Jake and Megan's baby but who is responsible and how did it happen?
The first half of the book is from Ellie's perspective. She also has secrets and spends too long telling the reader this before divulging what they are. There's a fine line between suspense and frustration.
I was expecting to like Ellie to have some relief from the toxic couple but she makes so many ridiculous decisions from the beginning that I ended up hating her as well.
The second half of the book replays the first half of the book but from the perspectives of Jake and Megan. It gets more interesting here as secrets are revealed but it does mean a lot of repetition.
The characters are all so horrible that I didn't really care what happened to them. I just wanted the answers. There are plenty of twists to keep you guessing and the ending was unexpected.
Not an ending I was happy about but as I didn't like any of them I don't think I would have been happy with any outcome.
I felt so sorry for the children.
It's tense, twisty and has shocks and surprises and is a quick read. If you enjoy hating characters then enjoy the carnage and revel in how secrets can destroy everything.
PC Plus Peripherals employs Ellie Taylor, who is 21 years old. Her boss, Jake Harington, is friendly, approachable, and incredibly handsome. Ellie was completely surprised when she was called into his office and asked to babysit his two children - Ollie, who is six, and Fern, who is only three months old. Ellie can feel the tension between Jake and his glamorous interior designer wife, Megan, as soon as she steps into their home. She becomes a bystander in their verbal battle, frequently falling victim to Megan's cruel remarks.
If she had any common sense, she would go away, but she has developed emotions for Jake, seeing him as a courageous and devoted father, navigating a challenging relationship and striving to protect his children. The story, as seen through her eyes, leads Ellie to a horrifying predicament. A secret from her past has resurfaced to trouble her.
Browne's writing style captivates the reader, immersing them in a tense and atmospheric setting. The pacing is masterfully balanced, presenting twists and turns that will leave you breathless.

Many thanks to @SherylBrowne @NetGalley & @bookouture for the opportunity to read it.
The tension and intrigue grew throughout this cracking read. I had no idea of who or what to believe. Ellie Taylor is offered a new job , babysitting the two children of Jake and Megan. So many secrets being kept by all three adults. Even as the secrets are gradually revealed I still doubt about all three. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to discover the outcome. This is my first read by this author and certainly won't be the last.
This was actually a great thriller!
The story starts with Ellie working as a babysitter for Megan and Jake--for their two children Fern and Ollie. Megan seems to distrust Ellie and Jake develops a form of relationship with Ellie. But then one of the children dies and the blame lies on Ellie...
This was actually a fast paced thriller. The story begins with Ellie's POV, then Megan's and Jake's POV and all these three characters are unreliable narrators which makes the story more compelling and as a reader you do not know who you should actually trust. Ellie has a past working as a nanny and as a reader, you are curious to see why Ellie is reluctant to talk about her old job. The writing overall was engaging and the author did a good job of drawing the reader into the story and making the reader feel like they are a part of the story as well. The ending was predictable however but overall, this was actually a good thriller--a page turning nail biting thriller--overall worth five stars!
Many thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Many thanks to Bookouture for making me a part of this blog tour. The review is based on my honest opinion only.
2.5 stars I have loved many of this authors other books and really liked the sound of this one from the blurb. The main character Ellie was so irritating and I really struggled to like her or relate to her. The choices she made were very far fetched and unbelievable. I couldn't relate to any of the characters as they were all so unlikable. Sorry it just wasn't for me.
I finished the last page of this book, placed my Kindle down and said, out loud, ‘Well that was ****** up’! I’ve never read anything quite like this, but I loved every single moment. I didn’t know what to expect when I turned a page, but I didn’t expect what happened to happen.
We All Keep Secrets is written from multiple viewpoints, numerous times, often telling the same story three times over, from Ellie, the childminder and also from Jake and Megan, husband and wife. I didn’t guess what was happening at all. Just when I thought I’d got it all sussed, Browne threw another curveball, and I was back to square one.
I thoroughly recommend this book if you love a twisted psychological thriller. Check all the trigger warnings though, there are multiple and if you’re ok with them all, go out and grab yourself a copy.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne.
I just finished reading We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne. A very intriguing suspense story plays out as we follow Ellie as her life is changed forever when she accepts a well-paying job to go from being an employee at her bosses’ company to becoming his nanny with a cruel wife and children that appear to be neglected emotionally when first seen. With the book starting in media res of a trial implying our point-of-view character is guilty of a crime involving the baby, Fern, and immediately putting us on edge for the rest of the story. Sheryl Browne really makes us suspicious of everyone’s motivations including our main character and keeping us guessing the whole way. For suspense fans I highly recommend We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne which is out now.
