Wow what a great book . I’ve read some of this authors work in the past but I think this is by far the best . It’s a great story with plenty of twists and turns so you never really know who to believe till the end . I would definitely recommend this book and give it 5 stars .

Ellie starts to work as a childminder for Jake, his boss at a computer company. He and her wife both lead busy lives, so they can’t take care of their children Ollie (6 years old) and Fern (three months old) appropiately. Ellie works for them one night as Jake is desperate for finding a new nanny, since her last one, Phoebe, left them. She ends up living with them to be able to do her job, although Megan is not convinced at all and tries to find her faulty in every step she takes.

I’m a bit conflicted about this book. I really liked how a toxic marriage is portrayed. Jake and Megan can’t stand each other and they only keep together for their children. Megan wants to be in control of everything and Jake seems to be trying his best with no result. They argue all the time and Ollie and Ellie are always in between their fights; the kid suffering from their lack of communication and their poor skills in parenting and Ellie suffering from their different ways of seeing her help (Jake with gratefulness and Megan with reservations). I also liked the tension built around Ellie’s figure, how everything she does is questioned by Megan and how the author gets to make you doubt about her perspective and her innocence. You’re told Ellie has a dark past involving neglection, so you start to wonder if Megan’s suspicions and awareness are justified. I enjoyed as well how every single character is imperfect and you get to judge them all, even through their own point of view.

On the other hand, I didn’t like how in the middle of the book the point of view changes and, with it, the time of the narration. You go back in time and start reading multiple scenes from Megan and Jake’s point of view. That made me lose interest in the story. I already read that and I knew what was gonna happen. With the reinterpretation of the scene, the reader gets a little more information, but I felt like it wasn’t as surprising as it should be to justify reading a whole scene all over again. From that point on, I kept putting the pieces together but with less interest than before, something unforgivable in a book of this genre. Also, I didn’t like how it demonizes postnatal depression, I think it’s a sensitive matter and it shouldn’t be treated as a topic in thrillers because it helps rising the stigma around it.

Although there were things I didn’t like, I globally enjoyed the book and found it entertaining. Also, the ending was satisfying and, even though it revealed something I’ve guessed before, I consider it a good closure to the story. It’s not the best thriller I’ve read, but it’s a good reading for when you want to disconnect for a bit.

I seem to be in the minority here because this book has gotten a ton of great reviews, but I just did not enjoy it. The first half is told from Ellie’s point of view, but about halfway through it alternates between Jake and Megan. Because of this, I found much of it to be repetitive and… boring. I also didn’t connect or relate to any of the characters and found myself not really caring about what happened to them. It was a struggle to get to the end but I didn’t want to quit without finding out the twist. I don’t think I’ll be reading other books by this author.

Told from the perspective for Ellie, who is the childminder, for the first section of the story and then Jake and Megan's stories are introduced with their own take on things this is a good thriller with lots to keep the reader entertained.
The huge twist at the end is epic!
Well done, a really well written thriller.

I loved this book! So many twists and turns! It was so interesting to read the story through Ellie, Meghan and Jake’s point of view. I really wasn’t sure which one of them to believe. The ending was not what I thought it was going to be. I would definitely recommend this book! I’m looking forward to reading more books by Sheryl.

Thank you NetGalley, Sheryl and bookouture for the ARC!

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for an early copy of We All Keep Secrets. Whenever I see a Sheryl Browne novel due to come out, my heart pounds a bit faster. I loved the cover as well as the book. This was mind boggling until the last page. I honestly did Not know who to believe. The epilogue blew my mind too. The characters were not likable at all, gaslighting one another. Perfect book to get cozy with. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED !!!!

I’m not sure what I thought of this book. It’s told from the perspective of Ellie, the childminder, for the first part of the story, but then Jake and Megan’s perspectives are also given. Because the story ends up being told from three different points of view it makes reading it a bit tedious because a number of scenes are re-told three times, each from a different point of view, but realistically with only a few additional details. For me this felt quite cumbersome and I found myself skipping over a number of paragraphs quickly without reading them properly because I could see they were exactly the same as I had already read. There was a big twist in the end, which was a nice surprise, but then another in the epilogue. I’m not sure how I feel about the ending though, I’m not sure that I’m convinced that the right person was convicted. Thank you NetGalley for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest review.

2.5 stars rounded up to 3. *Minor spoilers ahead*

I really wanted to love this book but I just didn't. Reading the book blurb upfront, I was excited about diving into a book "perfect for fans of The Housemaid", one of my favourite thrillers. The problem I had with this book though was that it is TOO similar to The Housemaid: a young, beautiful nanny with a mysterious, potentially violent history gets hired by a wealthy, hot man whose wife seems to be psychotic and manipulating. The nanny doesn't understand why the man still stays married to his wife and eventually ends up having an affair with him. Then, the twist - maybe things aren't like they seem. Oh, and there's a previous nanny who quit on a whim and disappeared.

Upon finishing the book, I reread the blurb and was surprised to find that it did not accurately reflect the events in the book. It was misleading and made me wonder if the person who wrote it had actually read the book. For example, the first meeting with the couple did not occur in the way that was described in the blurb: "When I first walked into Jake and Megan’s immaculate home, I felt totally at ease. Sitting in the crisp white living room, they held hands and talked lovingly about their baby girl, Fern." - this is not how the first meeting went down at all.

Unfortunately, I also didn't really care about any of the characters and wasn't waiting to find out what happened to them. While I enjoyed the first part of the book, the second part was a less thrilling version of the first, told from a different perspective. I have enjoyed reading about the same events from different perspectives in the past but it felt repetitive in this book.

In conclusion, I gave the book 2.5 stars because it was a fast read, and I enjoyed the writing style. However, I found the book disappointing because of its similarity to "The Housemaid" and the misleading blurb. I was unable to stop comparing the two books, and unfortunately, this one did not measure up.

Thank you to the author, publisher & NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Jake and Megan both live busy lives, running their own businesses, and hire Ellie as their babysitter. Trapped in an unhappy marriage, it’s a toxic environment full of tit for tat arguments. As Ellie spends more time with the bickering couple, she starts to wonder what secrets are in their closet…

Told from multiple points of view, this psychological thriller is like a tennis match, keeping you going back and forth between who is the good guy, and who is the bad guy. There’s never just one side to a story, after all!

If you enjoyed Freida McFadden’s “The Housemaid”, you’ll definitely enjoy this book as well.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my advanced copy.

Absolutely could not put this down! So many secrets and lies, toasts and turns. It's well written and I raced through it in an evening. An amazing domestic noir

None of the characters had any redeeming qualities but that’s what made the book so difficult to leave down and I thought while the second half of the story was a bit repetitive, giving the events from all POV’s was interesting as Megan and Jake’s versions were understandably different. Sheryl Brown certainly knows how to keep the reader on their toes wondering what will come next. Definitely a five star read.

This is another fantastic domestic thriller by Sheryl Browne. I have enjoyed all of her books, and this one didn’t disappoint.
I devoured it in one sitting. I was engrossed from page one and the twists just kept coming.
Another 5 star read and one I’d definitely recommend.

For some reason I've always avoided novels using this trope, so the storyline was completely new to me. When I saw the novel had 66 chapters, I gasped! Truth be told, this was a total page turner. I loved every bit of it. Can't wait to read more from Sheryl Browne!!

this Author is one of my favorites'. You know. That it is going to be addictive from the first page and this story definitely was gripping addictive and so twisty once you start you won't want to stop. Ellie is living day to day she lives in a grotty bedsit. She works. For Jake Harrington in his computer company. He has never noticed her until one day. until she tells him she worked as a nursery nurse before this job Jake needs a babysitter and she says yes Jake and his wife Meg have a son and a baby girl Meg is cold to Ellie. but Ellie gets taken in by the fancy house. Her boyfriend Zach warns her to be careful as the Nanny disappeared. I not going to say anymore but it is so good. what is each character hiding and what will they do to have what they want?

My first #Netgalley book, yay
I requested for this book and my request was granted . This is actually my first psychological thriller anyway back to the review; Everyone of us definitely has secrets and this book definitely showed us that even if you live in a transparent house, your secrets can still be shoved in a wardrobe

WE ALL KEEP SECRETS BY SHERYL BROWNE got be guessing right from the beginning, everybody has a story to tell and so did Ellie, Meghan, Michael(miguel), Jake. I didn't even know which person's side to be on. I wish Jake&Meghan left the marriage when things started to fall and I think Jake should stop sleeping around and also I honestly this book deserves a sequel(one that tells Jake&Ellie story and what happens after Meghan is released ). Anyway apart from the long chapters, long dialogue from the characters and me who is wondering how Meghan got so much time on her hand with her job; I loved the book

A husband a wife a nanny who knows everything.
Psychological thriller.
Ellie has worked for P.C. Plus for six months her boss Jake Harington needs a baby sitter for his two children and Ellie steps in, a former nanny she needs the money, arriving at the beautiful house she meets his wife Megan, and then Jake suggest she works for them full time, Zach Kendall her boyfriend is always out with his mates spending the cash on drink so it would not bother him.
But all is not well in their marriage as Ellie starts to see and Megan starts to pick on her for the slightest things, but Ellie is hiding a dark secret of her own of why she gave up her last nanny job, Jake is such a handsome man and likes to keep the piece with his wife, and why did Phoebe Anderson the Au Pair leave in such a hurry?
This book tells us all sides of the story from Ellie, Jake and Megan and we find out lots of twists, of betrayal and even murder, it's so unputdownable, I loved it.

"We All Keep Secrets" was such an exciting read, I read it in less than 24 hours! I loved the characters, the way the story was told, and all of the lies & secrets. Just when I thought I could predict the ending, another twist happened. I will be telling everyone about this book and cannot wait to read more from Sheryl Browne!

Thanks so much to Bookouture and NetGalley for providing this book in exchange for an honest review!

I love Sheryl Browne's psychological thrillers. Just when you think you have it figured out, another twist leaves you scratching your head.

The first portion of the book is written from Ellie's (the nanny) perspective. The latter half is divided between Megan and Jake, her employers. This is where things really become twisted. Some material is repetitive from the first half, but what you only received in snippets becomes fleshed out, and more details are provided.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. It's an excellent read!
