We All Keep Secrets by Sheryl Browne is another gripping psychological thriller by this author I honestly love this author’s books so much I know when I see one of hers it’s going to be one hell of a ride and this one did not disappoint. It is full of of suspense, secrets, and betrayal that will left me guessing until the final page. Told from different points of views It had me gripped until the very end and what a ending it was did not see that coming. Fantastic.

Ellie is working for Jake in one of his shops, and he desperately needs a babysitter, as their children's nanny has left them in the lurch. There is a terrible atmosphere in the house when she arrives. Megan,Jake's wife, seems to be a cold woman, and it is clear that she has never bonded with her daughter. Ellie needs the money so she
decides to take them up on the new job offer and becomes the new nanny for the children. Ellie feels there are secrets in this family like what happend to the previous nanny and why is one of the cupboard doors locked . But Ellie is also keeping secrets about her past that she wants to keep hidden.

Excellent thriller which I can’t recommend highly enough will definitely keep you gripped until the very end. Thanks to netgallery and the puplisher for my advanced copy.

"We All Keep Secrets" by Sheryl Browne is a gripping psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The author masterfully weaves a tale of suspense, secrets, and betrayal that will leave readers guessing until the final page.

The characters in this novel are well-developed and complex, each with their own hidden motives and dark pasts. The intricate relationships and dynamics between the characters add depth to the story and keep the reader engaged.

Browne's writing style is captivating and atmospheric, immersing the reader in the setting and creating a sense of unease and tension throughout the narrative. The pacing is perfectly balanced, with twists and turns that will leave you breathless.

One of the standout elements is the way Browne explores themes of trust, guilt, and the consequences of our actions. The moral dilemmas faced by the characters make the story thought-provoking and raise questions about the lengths we would go to protect ourselves and those we love.

Overall, this is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers. Sheryl Browne delivers a gripping and suspenseful story that will keep you hooked until the very end.

Ellie becomes the new nanny for the children, as it pays more than she is getting in Jake's shop.

Ellie is keeping secrets about her past that might just backfire on her in the future.

This story is told with three POV's. It is one of those books where every narrator is unreliable. I kept changing my mind about who was the guilty party, and when I reached the end, I realised that I was wrong - or was I?

Nothing in the blurb that I read was in the book - that Ellie felt so at ease in Jake and Megan's home on her first visit - that Jake was over familiar - so I am not sure the person that wrote the blurb actually read the book!

I really like Sheryl Browne's books, but this is not one of my favourites.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

We All Keep Secrets is a heart-pounding thriller that will keep you up past your bedtime. When Ellie, a nanny with a controversial past, is hired to help her boss and his wife watch over their children, she is excited for a big pay increase and stable lifestyle. Her friends think Ellie is making a bad choice by leaving her corporate job (where Jake is the boss) to go be a nanny for him, but the appeal of upgrading out of her moldy, subpar flat is just too enticing. Jake and Megan have a beautiful home with a little boy (Ollie) and an infant baby girl (Fern). When Ellie, who is very attracted to Jake, meets Megan, she is shocked at Megan's vitriol and anger toward her. Jake seems to have sprung Ellie (as a nanny) onto Megan, and Megan is extremely hostile to her. Then, a switch seems to flip, and Megan becomes friendly and invites Ellie to be a full-time nanny for her and Jake's family. As Ellie integrates into her new life, she wonders why Ollie is so lonely, why Megan seems to hate her husband so much, why Jake (gorgeous, successful businessman) stays with someone hateful like Megan, and what on earth happened to Phoebe, the nanny before her. When Ellie is accused of a horrific crime, she must pull back the proverbial curtain to see what was hiding in plain sight all along.

This book was a fun ride! My least favorite character was Ellie, because she has all the pick-me/emotinoal cheater vibes you can imagine. We all know an Ellie. However, characters who are bad people do not equate to bad storytelling. Ellie's character really drives the story forward and makes it realistic. We all know the type of person who likes to stick their head in the sand and only see what a person looks like instead of who they are.

Things I loved:
- The fast pace and sinister tone right from the beginning
- How there really aren't any "good" characters in terms of moral aptitude
- Domestic thriller
- How Megan's diabolical character kept me guessing
- The twists at the end
- A bit of a murder mystery
- The author really took her time to get us into Ellie's head and help us see everything from her perspective... If you want a good look at a pick-me girl, then this is it! Reading fiction as an autistic person helps me understand others.

Things I didn't like:
- I wish the story had way more detail about Ellie's past
- The flashbacks in part 2 with Jake and Megan could have provided more insights into their motivations. Some were there, but Jake's character could have been more fleshed out.

We All Keep Secrets was a 3.75 star read for me rounded up to 4. That is not a bad rating, and I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves thrillers! Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers at Bookouture for sending me an e-ARC! I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to go read all the other ones Sheryl Browne has written.

Another impressive ‘can’t put down’ novel by Sheryl Browne, which grabs you by the throat with the prologue and grips you tight all the way through to the final explosive scene. I love how the story is told in multiple viewpoints with the three main characters, Ellie, Jake and Megan so brilliantly drawn that I found myself sympathising with all of them in turn. Twist followed twist and I found it intriguing to see the same scene from both Jake and Megan’s POV. As always, the story is well-researched and the twist completely unexpected. An absolute must-read.

I'm not sure what I think about this book. It started out really good, although it's a plot that has been done a million times. Lots of predictable parts. When the book switched to Megan's point of view, I ended up skimming and it was the same story told again. Too long in the middle. The ending wasn't bad. There were some good twists I didn't see coming, but overall, I felt it was kind of predictable and drug out.
