As you would expect from this author great writing with twists and turns on every page.

Parker and Luna seem like the perfect couple. Young, beautiful and showing a perfect life on Luna’s instagram story. Parker’s mum is sad that she doesn’t see much of him or her grandson but is overjoyed that she is trusted to babysit overnight while the couple go to a fancy evening event. A midnight knock at the door changes all of their lives and unveils a series of events that would change everything.

Great story with clues dropped and teased along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend to those who enjoy a family thriller.

Brilliant. Unputdownable. Another masterpiece from this incredible author. Thrilling from start to finish. an amazing book. One I very highly recommend.

What a story! There are numerous characters but I never got confused with who I was reading about. I was able to follow what was going on but that didn't mean I figured out the mystery quickly. There were so many times that I thought I had it figured out just to get to the next chapter and find out I was wrong. Very engaging story and a quick read because I couldn't put it down.

WoW! I did not see that coming!! K. L. Slater had me on my toes from the beginning to the end. I felt like every time I had a grip on what happened... BAM! Wrong....

Freida McFadden and Ruth Ware fans need to add this to their TBR pile ASAP!

This is the first book I've ever read by K.L. Slater, and I can safely say I will definitely read more of her books!

The book is told from multiple POV's, and I mean a LOT of POV's, not just the classic two. It is very fast paced which made it a quick read and I could not put it down!

Now, it wasn't a perfect book, I did find all the twists to be very unbelievable and that's why it's 3.5 starts rounded up to 4.

Husband and Wife by K. L. Slater was an excellent book it was full of brilliant twists and turns that had you sitting on the edge of your seat. WoW this book was so good! Once I started it, I found it hard to put down. All Kim's books have been a brilliant read and the way she writes is just amazing especially as she has a way of drawing you in and all the characters of every book have been excellent and perfect.
Kim's books are magical in every way and so believable!

I highly recommend this book and a great holiday read. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read.

In this story we meet a husband and wife, following a car accident. Both have secrets. I struggled with the characters, I occasionally found the storyline far fetched and unbelievable. I also found it repetitive at times. I’ve read and loved KL slater before but this was not one of my favourites

One of my favourite authors does it again. Gripping page turner with twists and turns. Highly recommend this book and any others by K L Slater.

Superb story line. Very interesting and intricate dialogue among characters. The twists & turns are that of an epic thriller but very compelling nonetheless. The author did well to capture the suspense, and maintain a “fresh” vibe throughout the book. At times, I feel like if you’ve read one thriller you’ve read them all. S.L. Did such a wonderful job escaping typical modern day thriller tropes! I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book! The suspense was just FANTASTIC!

As always. reliable, yet easy non committal thriller from Slater. One of my favourite to come back to. I've enjoyed all of her books, despite them being a bit more trashy and will continue to request and read and review hers. This was a bit more twisty than some of her previous titles and you really didn't know who to trust.

A whole new type of Bunny Boiler....a husband who lies, a wife who lies and deceives and a confused, a concerned mother wondering how she can best protect her grown up son. and an indifferent Dad, who doesn't seem particularly bothered about the predicament his son is in and doesn't seem to care his wife is upset and worried. I wasn't sure where this book was going but it had me gripped. Really interesting, you start to think you know who has done what but then the twists keep on coming.....very good!

If you are looking for a thriller that will keep you reading late into the night just to find out how it ends, this is the book for you. Yes I might be a little biased as I absolutely love K.L. Slater's books but she did it again with this one. The book starts off with Parker asking his mom to babysit his son, Barney as Parker & his wife, Luna have a conference to attend out of town. Nicola is absolutely thrilled to watch her grandson as her visits with her son and grandson are very limited these days as all their free time is spent with Luna's parents so Nicola will jump at the chance to hang out with her grandson for an overnight visit. When the phone rings in the middle of the night at Nicola's house things start to take a dramatic turn for the family. This story has it all lies, cheating, affairs, and even murder. Slowly everyone's hidden secrets will be revealed by the time the last page is turned. Great read, loved the twists and turns and just when you think you have it all figured out another secret is revealed and it takes you in a whole new direction. Enjoy!!!!

This story is told from multiple perspectives as Nicola and others unravel the mystery of Parker and Luna's lives.

Brilliant story about a couples life that unfolds whilst they lay in hospital recovering from a car accident. A scarf is found that links them to a murder case- fab twist, great writing, 5stars!!

A girl has been murdered in an alley and her scarf is the only thing missing......

After dropping off their son at Parker's parents house for a fun night out, Parker and Luna are in a car accident and now the hospital. Parker's mother, Nicola, happens to talk to her son before he goes into a coma and he tells her not to go to his house....so off to his house she goes and so begins the crazy story!

This story was all over the place, the story not realistic at all....if my son was in the hospital, I would not be leaving much less waiting at home for an update and the list goes on and on.

I finished it but did not enjoy it.

This one was quite twisty... It was a bit slow in parts, but fairly engaging. It had a decent amount of suspense.

So good! This is a quick, page turner with multiple twists. Each well written, short chapter identifies POV and its place on the timeline.. I was intrigued from the first chapter. Husband and Wife was a one day, couldn’t put it down read for me. I’ve read/enjoyed other K.L Slater books -this one is definitely my favourite so far.

This is a crime mystery about family secrets and lies . It involves a murder of a young woman . After a serious car accident involving the main suspect's, will the truth come out . Will the mothers protect their adult children at all costs. This is a real mystery story ,easy to read and with a real twist no one expected. 4 stars

Husband and Wife is told from multiple view points of spouses and their mothers from prior to and after the car accident that leave both husband and wife hospitalized. This is a hard story to put down with twists and turns from beginning to end! And, when you think you've got it figured out, another twist is revealed with an ending that I didn't see coming!
