Easy as Pie was just as sweet as its name.

I enjoyed Tripp and Hazel’s story and can’t wait to read more of the Harvest Hollow series.

I love love love this book series! Each book is by a different author and they are all amazing! You can read each book separately. These are the best fall romance books to read with every trope that you could want in a sweet closed door romance. I have to buy every one of these to keep! This book is one of my favorites I love the best friend to lovers trope! Tripp and Hazel. Love it!

Another great addition to the sweater weather series.
I really enjoyed reading about Tripp and Hazel’s journey as individuals and together. So many moments that made this book not only cute but funny too. I also loved the small town vibes! With such great writing it was really easy to read and enjoy.

A lovely cute cozy slow burn romance - I would definitely recommend.

I have loved reading this inter-connected, stand-alone Sweater Weather series of closed-door romances set in fictional Harvest Hollow, a small town nestled in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Each book is by a different author, but there is some crossover of characters as well as the same local businesses and town. They can be ready independently, and it has been a lot of fun reading them in order and seeing the crossovers between books

My understanding is the the main make character is in another of Carina Taylor's books which is fun to know.

Tripp and Hazel grew up as best friends. But then Tripp left and went to medical school. Hazel's mom passed away, and Hazel stuck around home, working with her dad. Tripp is now back and sparks are flying. This was as much about Hazel and Tripp being willing to be vulnerable with each other as Hazel committing to herself and her own dreams. I really enjoyed their journey. It was a great addition to the series.

thanks tot he author for a copy. All opinions are my own.

Each Carina Taylor book is unique but reading about one of the characters from another book again was something I didn't expect. And Tripp was one of the characters that keep my attention in Forget me twice
.
Above all in this series of cozy weather in the coziest small town created by the best writers of close door romance
.
Hazel is a mechanic workaholic that has no time to date and definitely to see her best friend again after so long. That's why when instead of receiving a meme she receives a message saying that he returned to town and wants to see her, she begins to avoid it like the plague.
.
His best friend, his first crush is back and he wants to reconnect with her, but she is not ready to see him. Especially when he starts to look at her differently.
.
this was a super cute and cute slow burn friends to lovers with a beautiful ending.
.
Thanks to Carina Taylor for give me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

Thank you to Carina Taylor for the book to review. All opinions are my own.

Hazel and Tripp have been besties since middle school. And they both followed their parents' footsteps in adulthood. Tripp becoming a doctor, and Hazel becoming a mechanic. And those paths have kept them apart... Until now. Tripp is back in town and Hazel can no longer ignore the attraction she began to have for him in college. He's her best friend, but she has to avoid him to avoid these feelings! But, is she imagining it, or is he giving her signals that he likes her too? Which one will test the boundaries of their friendship to risk acting on this attraction?

Perhaps one of the funniest opening scenes ever. Just go read Chapter 1 now (you can probably grab it as a Kindle sample), I'll wait... Okay, you're back now. Wonderful. Don't you want to read the rest now?! There are so many funny moments here. Hazel and Tripp have a teasing dynamic that plays well on the page. They are the couple you want to go on a double date with because they would be so entertaining. I love a friends to lovers trope, and this is a fun one.

This is a closed door, kisses only romance.

There is a bonus scene available by joining the author's newsletter. Make sure and check that out!

Another adorable sweater weather installment. This one has a cute best friends to lovers trope, which is generally pretty enjoyable for me (it’s a newfound love). The friendship was very cute, but their interactions were sometimes painfully awkward (intentionally). Rather than a lot of FTL trope books, both characters knew at the beginning of the book that they had feelings for each other. So it also is sort of like secret instalove?

The characters were likable, the town was nostalgic and perfect for fall. I loved the female mechanic rep- that was very well done and natural. My only gripe was that some of the interactions between FMC and MMC made them seem younger than they actually were.

Again these are sweet romances so readers need to go in without the expectation of spice. However - that does NOT take away from the enjoyability of the book.

I would read more by this author and would recommend to my friends !

I really love this fall series 💕
In this book, we have a childhood best friends to lovers, slow burn and « don’t come near her or you’ll die » 😂

It was really a great read and I recommend this book to every closed door romcom lovers 💕

Easy as Pie was easy as pie to read, a nice light romance addition to the Sweater Weather series. I could have used fewer repetitions of the phrase “best friend” by the two main characters (seriously what adult refers to someone as that all the time? We get it) but other than that it was enjoyable to watch the dance between Hazel and Tripp as their friendship bloomed into much more. Lots of humor mixed in as well, always a plus.

Thank you Carina Taylor, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.

It was a second book I've read from the Sweater Weather series and I loved it! I adore Carina's writing style! Book got me hooked from the start with the tampon scene haha. I feel the writing was genuinely funny without trying too hard.
I absolutely loved Hazel, she's so witty and sarcastic, loved her deadpan humor. Tripp was sooo swoony.
Hazel and Tripp's banter was top tier! And on God chapter 33 was everything!

Tripp and Hazel have been best friends since high school. He decides to move back to Harvest Hallow for a 6 month contract at the local hospital after his residency somewhere else. When he comes back to town, Hazel avoids Tripp and he has to track he down to reconnect. With Tripp being back in town and them spending more time together, they realize that they are a good team and the crush they have both secretly had on each other is still very much there too.

Dr. Tripp Sharpe is the dreamiest 😍😍 and is also such a sweetheart. He truly cares for Hazel and wants the best for her. Hazel has taken over her dads shop and feels that she is stuck in Harvest Hallow even if she hasn’t realized it yet. I loved the getting stuck in the closet together and how they was the changing point in their whole friendship/relationship. There is obvious attraction there and I love how gentle they are with their friendship. Such a good fall read that gives lots of Gilmore Girl Vibes.

Easy as Pie is the fifth book in the Sweater Weather Series that is written by multiple authors. They are all set in the same fictional town and can be read as standalone or in order. Thanks to @carinataylorauthor @netgalley and @victoryeditingngc for this advanced copy!

When Tripp Sharpe moves back home, worries that things might be a little weird with his best friend Hazel, but what he doesn’t expect is for her to flat out avoid him.

But last time they were together, Hazel came to the realization that she was wildly attracted to her best friend and that was cause for concern.

When theyre thrown back together again In their small home town, they realize not only is their friendship still intact, they’re also a really great team.

It’s a classic story of best friends falling in love, but avoiding it due to the consequences of being in love and the possibility that their friendship might not survive it….. and I ate it up 🫶🏼

They come to realize that their relationship, like their friendship, is “easy as pie.”

//// I love a good best friends falling In love story and I absolutely devoured this one. This author knew what she was doing with the incredible characters and the character development 👏🏼

Thank you to netgalley and the author for an eArc of this book in exchange for my honest opinion!

First I just have to say I love this cover! Tripp totally gives me Deluca from Grey’s Anatomy vibes and I’m here for it. Dr. Tripp is smoking and he is also such a sweetheart. Hazel is a super fun FMC. She’s a mechanic, which I loved, and she is in love with her best friend.

I actually loved that this friends to lovers story wasn’t rife with miscommunication like so many other of this trope. The small town of Harvest Hollow has become my new favorite place and I wish I could really go visit. The townies that pop up throughout this series just make my heart happy.

There’s so many great gilmore girls-esque things going that just make me smile through each book, and particularly this one with the harvest festival stuff being so prevalent.

This story is sweet and fun, romantic but not spicy. There is a bit of really good steam between our two characters and it’s 🔥 but not like tooo gott, if you know what I mean.

Over all this was cute and fun, an easy and quick read. I’d recommend it for a fall read when you just want something sweet and happy!

This is a cute book to the Sweater Weather series. This was a cute, clean read. Hazel doesn't know where she stands with her childhood bff since she started to have some non platonic feelings for him. It goes through how they reconnect and figure out how and if they work for each other.
I've read a few of these books in the Sweater Weather series and they are all cute. There are a few instances where the author is a tad repetitive but easy to over look.

Hazel and Tripp are such fun best friends! Hazel is vivacious, fun loving, spontaneous, and the girl can fix cars!!! 🏎️ Tripp is an introvert that is great with people, will do anything for anyone, but has a hard time letting go and having fun. Which is where his bestie Hazel comes in!

I love how bad@$$ Hazel is with her job working on cars, her overalls that she sports all the time, the flower shoes. She gets dirty on the job and having fun, but is just as comfortable dressing up and being feminine. Get it girl!!

These two have been friends since childhood but Tripp has been away finishing medical school and residencies while Hazel has stayed in Harvest Hollow working and watching out for her family. Tripp has returned home and Hazel does not know what to do with herself because…. she’s attracted to him! Has been since college and been avoiding the sweet boy so it doesn’t get out of control.

As these two besties reunite and reevaluate their friendship, we get to see them have fun in their hometown. We see how adorably cute their friendship is… the sweet nicknames, the banter, the silliness.

I always love moments where one main character takes care of the other one, when they’re sick or just need help and won’t ask for it. Tripp does both of these things for Hazel, no questions asked.

Pick up this very sweet friends to lovers, small town romance! Going from the best of friends to more than friends can be hard, and Hazel and Tripp navigate it in a very sweet way. 💛

🍂 Also, I love the crossover from Just Don’t Fall into this book, with Harvest Hollow Hockey Player Eli taking an interest in Hazel! 🏒 Also the mention of other locations such as Tequila Mockingbird and their new trivia night!

Very cozy fall read! This book had banter, little bit of romance, and gave all the vibes. The two main characters have been best friends for a long time, but haven’t seen each other in 3 years since the MMC went to school and residency. The FMC avoided him when he came back due to not only being nervous, since it had been awhile, but now she had developed new found feelings. They both easily slipped back into the best friend friendship, but there was always more to it. Highly recommend this book! Fast read and gives off Gilmore girls.
Final rating 3.5⭐️

How is this story allowed to be so cute?! I love a good best friends to lovers, and these two besties, in a cute little fall town? Yes, please!

Hazel is wild and gets into all sorts of shenanigans as she's grown up, and dragged Trippe right along with her. I loved Hazel's character. She's a mechanic but also likes to be girly, and she's 100% comfortable with herself. She's so into her best friend, but doesn't want to ruin the friendship. It's been easy with him being gone doing med school and residency, but he's moving back to work at the local ER.

Trippe is happy to be back home, especially because he gets to be close to Hazel. He doesn't have a great relationship with his dad, which has made him avoid his home, but luckily Hazel's family has practically adopted him. He wants to find his soulmate and nothing has really worked out so far. He starts to develop feelings for Hazel and it takes him awhile to realize that's what is happening.

One, he calls her Hazelnut (pretty freaking cute IMO), she gets sick and he takes care of her, and their relationship is so funny. They give each other crap and their banter was fantastic. This is a pretty slow burn, but definitely worth the ride.

No spice

“So when did you wake up and realize Tripp is a gorgeous-looking man with a personality you could happily spend the rest of your life with?”

Easy as Pie is the fifth book in the Sweater Weather series. I am loving this entire series so far. They’re the perfect reads for a cozy fall day. While this is a part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Easy as Pie has the perfect Romcom vibe. It follows Tripp and Hazel who are lifelong best friends. The first chapter started off with a scene that had me laughing almost immediately. The story kept the same vibe throughout the end. I loved getting to know Tripp and Hazel's fun dynamic. They had the best banter with each other and were so competitive about most things. You can definitely feel the lifelong friendship through the details. I loved when they started realizing that there might be more than friendly feelings present. I wanted to lock them in a room together until they admitted those feelings. I truly adored this read!

Easy as Pie has:
•Best friend to lovers
•Small town
•Slow burn
•Sweater weather
•”It’s always been you”

This book was a great edition to the Sweater Weather series. I highly recommend Easy as Pie and the rest of the series!

🥧 Easy as Pie releases on September 28th! 🥧
