Easy As Pie continues the Sweater Weather series, but can be read as a stand-alone book. Lifelong best friends. Small town romance. Fun secondary characters.

Tripp returns to his hometown after medical school ready to reconnect with his best friend, Hazel. They both realize quickly that they may have more than “best friend” feelings for each other after all these years. But they can’t TELL each other that, can they?! ;-)

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Watch for Easy As Pie to come out September 28, 2023.

Another winner from the Sweater Weather series. Super cute. Lots of laugh out loud moments (which started at the dedication for me). And two best friends you want to lock in a room until they figure it out and get with the kissing. I'm not saying I read the author's mind or anything but we seem to be in agreement on that front.

This is book five from the Sweater Weather series and the third I've read (so far). They've all been fantastically fun, funny, and kissing only. So if you're looking for some clean fall romances this year, check out the whole series.

the real definition of feel good romance book! there is one word that keep coming in my mind while i'm reading this book. WHOLESOME!!! so freaking wholesome!!

they are best friends since they were in middle school. i love their dynamics soooo much. their friendship is so cute, funny, adorable, wholesome and heartwarming. they know each other so well and their chemistry is amazing!

hazel, the fmc, she is so funny. like she is a whole mess but in a cute way. she has such a good heart and sooo cool like she can fix car!! i love how chaotic she is because it is so adorable.

tripp, the mmc, oh man i even crushing over him since the start. like i can feel his charisma that makes me smiling and giggling no matter what he did. tripp is also so funny especially when he is around hazel.

this one is a slow burn and daaaamn it makes the first kiss scene much much memorable!! there is a scene when she takes care of him after he hurt his finger and also he takes care of her while she sick, once again, SO DAMN WHOLESOME.

it is so nice to read their story, it makes my heart warm and so full. such a great, light, quick and feel good book!

I loved this sweet story so much!! Friends to lovers is such a fav trope of mine, and Tripp & Hazel are the absolute cutest friends to lovers!
I love how Hazel is such a well rounded character— she loves being a mechanic and working with her hands, but is also not afraid to be vulnerable and show her feelings. and Tripp is such a sweetheart, always wanting to be the best person and friend he can be, trying to please the people he loves, while also staying true to himself. I wish they didn’t have such a slow burn, but I absolutely love how Tripp & Hazel come together in showing their true feelings for one another and getting their happily ever after. and the side characters were so fun & made this story so much better :)
thank you for the ARC!!!

Easy as Pie is the second book I’ve read in the Sweater Weather series, a multi-author series set in the fictional small town of Harvest Hollow, and it was both swoony and hilarious – thank you so much to both the author and the publisher for the advance copy!

If you are a fan of Gilmore Girls, small town vibes, apple pies, and all things fall, then this cute and quick read is the book for you. I found myself laughing out loud for the first time a few pages in – always a great sign – and the story swept me away from there. Best friends since they were kids Hazel and Tripp find themselves living in the same town again – he is back in town as the new ER doctor whereas she never left, for various reasons – and their easy-going and deeply affectionate friendship was truly wonderful.

This was the first book I have read by Carina Taylor but if they all are like this one – happy and humorous feel-good stories – I might need to read more!
