I just love the Simmons sisters, Aunt Bernie, & and Paradise, so much! If you're looking for a fun and hilarious novel to unwind with, then look no further! Love is always in the air, and the stories are just magical! This story focuses on sisters Ophelia and Tertia, but we get to sit with the whole family throughout this novel. I'm already ready for the next story for these sisters!!

Thank you, Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca, for this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I always enjoy a Carolyn Brown story and jumped at the chance to review this book. It’s book two in a series and I feel like reading book one first would help in understanding the story. Still it was a wonderful read and I can’t wait for the next book!

Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca | for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I was excited to receive this ARC as i loved the first book in this series. I hope the series continues.

Glad to see Ophelia and Tertia back. Now Aunt Bertie has an idea to put her matchmaking skills to work. She starts off and her first insight is on Ophelia because she thinks this will be the easiest because she needs work and Jake needs help at the winery and when they meet to see if he can employ her there is an immediate attraction which makes Aunt very happy.

I feel that this book was fun and kept you smiling. Full of drama in a good way and cannot wait to keep reading the series!

Thanks NetGalley for letting me read and review.

I have been looking forward to the second book in the Sisters in Paradise series, and I may have enjoyed it more than I did the first one. Ophelia and Tertia are back in Spanish Fort now, and Aunt Bertie has set her matchmaking sights on them. Ophelia falls into her plan pretty easily: she needs a job, Jake needs help at the winery, and there is an immediate and undeniable attraction. Tertia is tougher to handle because she keeps getting distracted by her childhood nemesis, Noah, and his plans for opening a restaurant and offering her her dream job. The other sisters have news, too, and new people are moving to town. There is plenty of drama and fun for this family to share with us.

I always love Carolyn Brown’s book and all her stories about sisters and women in general. I was excited that I was approved for the ARC by Netgalley despite not reading the 1st in the series. I felt like I came in at the middle of the story and wished I’d read the 1st book. I wasn’t sure who everyone was and there were so many characters that it was so hard to follow. I enjoyed the story of Ophelia and Jake as well as Tertia and Noah. I was surprised that the wedding that they were all preparing for wasn’t the bulk of the story but instead it was 2 of the other sisters that seem to be the main focus. Aunt Bernie’s match making ways cracked me up and I found myself laughing out loud at things she said and how the sisters dealt with her.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read the advanced reader copy of Sister’s in Paradise by Carolyn Brown.

In this book book #2 in the Sister's in Paradise series, two more sisters have come back home to roost. Ophelia, who was living in California after leaving the army and substitute teaching, she is not sure what she wants to do with her life, so when visiting the winery where one of her sister's was getting married, she comes in to contact with the owner Jake Brennan who has a job going in tasting room and she takes advantage of this. And with her Great-Aunt Bernie and her matching making, she sees where this attraction they have for one another will go. Will it grow like the grapes on the vine or turn sour. then we have Terita who has come home for the summer from her job coaching and teaching, but she too does not know if she wants to go back to her job and meets up with a boy that she once gave a black eye in school because he insulted her family home, Noah Sullivan is too having a career crisis and she knows what he wants, Terita and his won business. But Aunt Bernie is having none of it, she is doing everything she can too steer her away from Noah, despite the chemistry that is cooking between the two of them.

I just know when I start a Carolyn Brown book, I will have to read it until it's finished. Her books always have such great stories filled with wonderful characters, family, friends, some high jinx and makes you want to get right into them and wanting to sit down for a chat at the family table with an Ice tea and having a great conversation. They are like coming home, which is what the Simmons sisters are doing. They are coming back to where they always know they will be welcomed back into the fold, not matter how long they have been away.
You will want to make sure you have this book on your reading shelf for sure.
A solid 5 Stars of reading.

I wanted to love this book, but I didn't. I'm not even sure I can pinpoint the reason why, which bums me out.

There were too many characters for my brain to comprehend. The fact that all seven sisters were talked about throughout the book, along with parents, grandparents, aunts, boyfriends, husbands, etc., it was just too much.

I did enjoy the sisters, Ophelia is probably my favorite. I wish that we could've learned more about them all, gone deeper, instead of keeping it fairly surface level.

I don't know, this book was fine. That's all.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

A sweet romance. Seven sisters in a small town in Texas. Lots of possibilities. A pleasant story with some entertaining moments. The most exciting part is the tornado. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Ophelia Simmons has moved back home to Paradise; the former brothel her mother purchased years ago. Great Aunt Bernie is matchmaking and wants all the girls married. She has one married and one getting married soon. Jake Brennan is the owns the local winery. They strike sparks off each other; Jake offers Ophelia a job and she takes it until she can find something.
Tertia Simmons has also returned home to live. She runs into her former bully Noah Sullivan; seems they have a lot in common. Aunt Bernie wants to keep them apart due to bully in elementary school.
I just love the stories that Carolyn writes, they draw me in from the first chapter. There is always humor and interesting stories to read from her books.

Great Aunt Bernie is determined to see her seven grand nieces settled. This is the story of how two of them find love. As usual a lovely story by Carolyn Brown.

Sisters in Paradise, has two relationships building at the same time and a third one quietly thrown in. This Sisters are quite different from each other but share a lot of similar traits. I got a little teary-eyed a couple of times especially the ending.

A beautiful tale of rediscovery, love, and most importantly family.

Ophelia, finding herself back home and avoiding all routes of her great aunt Bernie and her matchmaking shenanigans, runs into Jake. Instant sparks y’all… amongst all the little bits of bickering that is.

Meanwhile Ophelia’s sister, Tertia is also on an adventure of her own and stuck with her own crossroads with her own head and heart.

I really loved this novel. I loved the beauty in the lesson that love can be found in the weirdest places and moments and we see alot of it within the pages of this book. This was such a sweet, lighthearted read in a southern small town setting.

Thank you to Netgalley, Carolyn Brown and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the eARC!

I received this from NetGalley for free. I didn’t realize this was the second in a series. I had trouble getting into the book and didn’t finish it. It seemed to me like I was starting in the middle of a story and that makes sense now that I realize it’s a second book in a series. Perhaps if I read the first book then this one I would enjoy it and be able to finish it

This is another great read from Carolyn Brown. I struggled with all the character names and the pet names for a little while. But the humor and love story pulled me through as usual. I love the look into a big family of sisters, with love, and life in small town Texas.

Love this series I nicknamed 7 grooms for 7 sisters! The story continues with a reception for Ursula and wedding planning for Luna. And then we discover more about Ophelia and Tertia, Aunt Bernie and the Universe has plans for matchmaking those two. Of course she is on the lookout for prospects on the remaining three. A wonderful feel good series, but do read in order.
Thank you NetGalley for this eARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story. #NetGalley #SistersinParadise

Thank you for allowing me to read and review the ARC Sisters in Paradise. I found out while reading this book that there was a book before this one. However, I don’t feel I missed anything by not reading book one first. I felt it was a fast and quick read. In this story, there is some romance, family meddling I each others lives and even some comedy. So if you want a nice light book…..This would be a good one to read.
