[Blurb goes here]

As soon as this novel starts, it throws familiar movie scenes and actors' names, making it nearly impossible to keep reading.

Let's start with the first two chapters. I didn't go further than that:

The protagonist finds himself in possession of an orange sphere embedded in his arm. He's told that as long as he's in possession of the thing, he cannot die. To prove the point, he's sent to (I'm not kidding) the end scene from Jaws, where, unlike Brody, he fails to kill the shark. The shark kills him, and he respawns.

The antagonist, on the other hand, meets none other than Morgen Freeman, acting the part of god from the movie Bruce Almighty.

Soon after reading this, I had no patience in me to keep on going.

Thank you for the advanced copy!
