O'Fallon's romantic suspense keeps the pages turning as our hero must determine what to do to both fulfill the requirements of his job while at the same time, keep our heroine safe. She has lived with abuse for so long and now looks to lose the only family and safety she has. Not the typical hero background. This is a lead that's focused on family and forgiveness. He's likeable and dedicated. While this is the seventh (and last) book in the series, the references to prior hero's did not cause confusion.
Sorry to see the series end, but plan on going back and reading those that I missed.
I love this book and this amazing series. The riveting storylines will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first page until the last. They are full of action suspense and danger. They also have wonderful characters with great chemistry. Add in the amazing K- 9's that pull on your heartstrings and this series is a MUST READ.
Stellar K-9 Romantic Suspense!!
For Jamie Pataglio AKA Jimmy Santoro working undercover meant 5 months 2 weeks and 3 days in prison. Saving Tony Mancuso of the Mancuso crime family gives him an “in” to hopefully catch the culprit. The last snitch ended up dead.
Also, up for discussion, will he get his canine companion Jax back? A part time gig at Bianco’s Bistro and a free room from part-owner Bella, begrudgingly - hence the part-time helping. A fixed AC unit and assist in rescuing a bedraggled pup all help Bella accept Jamie, though she vows not to get involved with anyone mafia related.
Danger, life and death, romance, and canine hijinks. Will keep you on the edge of your seat and fully entertained.

By Tee O'Fallon
**I received a copy of this book from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a honest and voluntary review**
While it's sad to see a series end I have to say that each book has been a treasure to read. So having said that Jamie is the last to fall in love of the Federal K-9 men and their *dogs*.
Also don't believe that only men can be a head of a Mafia family because Bella's Aunt Paola Mancusco leaves the Corleone and Soprano families in the dust. Oh and don't forget Jax, Jamie's K-9 partner who loves Bella and not because she gives him good scratches but because he knows she's his partners forever love. So Jax makes a deal with the Feds to take down Bella's Aunt and if he does his job right his dad will get the cancer treatment he needs. Bella knows that she may lose the restaurant that she built up from nothing because her aunt is a co-owner and using it for her business deals.
So sit down hang on and enjoy a fast paced, action packed ride while Jamie Pataglio takes down a Mafia and keep Bella safe and when he needs the guys and their K-9's will come to the rescue when they receive a SOS text.
This is the final book in the series, highly recommend reading book 1 and going threw til the end. Sargent Jamie Pataglio and Bella Bianco meet with not so nice surroundings. The things we do for those we love, ups downs and everything in between is what you going to get with this romantic suspense. Loved Gnocchi. I am sad to see this series come to an end but there is always down the road we may get to catch up with the men, their 4 legged partners and the women who brought them to their knees. Loved the story and the characters. Can't wait to see what Tee has next for her fans
One sitting read. I choked up a bit and a had a few sniffles towards the end. Calling all dog lovers, snarky intelligent women lovers, hot hunky broody male lovers, undercover officer and mafia, I rarely knowingly read anything to do with undercover cops and mafia. Even though I read fiction, to much pulls on my heart. I knowling asked for Above N Beyond because, hey Tee O Fallon. As always, she delivered, Tense times, steamy romance (which I skim over) family (real family not mafia) twists and so much more. I wanted to crawl between the pages and twist FBI Jenkins ears. Seeing Jimmy's friends and their K9s make appearances was icing on the cake, There was humour, suspense, love. Great ending to a great series. I have not read the whole series, but I will read the ones I missed. Thank you for the arc. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #AboveNBeyond #TeeOFallon #Entangled:Amara #NetGalley (also left at Kobo, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)
I was emotionally pulled into this story. Jamie's reasons for going undercover with the crime family made me love his character. I liked Bella's character so much too and I felt for her when she realizes her family didn't return her feelings. The book was full of intrigue and had enough action to keep the pace moving quickly. The author has a gift of making the canine characters so human and lovable. I think I loved Jax more than the human characters! I have enjoyed the whole series but found that you can truly enjoy each book in the series without reading the others first. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I adored this book! Loved that it was mafia/undercover cop book and that made it really entertaining. The slow burn between Jamie and Bella was worth it. Their banter was hilarious and the spice was worth it. Plus it has dogs! Any book that has loveable dogs in it, is a winner to me. Jax stole the show and I love him. The moment when Jamie and Jax get back together after him being gone, had me in tears. It was beautifully written.
Sergeant Jamie Pataglio played a dangerous game going undercover in prison. The months in prison set him up as someone willing to do almost anything when released. What he hadn’t counted on was Isabella “Bella” Bianco, niece of the mafia godmother Paola. Bella opened her very successful restaurant, Bianco’s Bistro with the financial assistance of her aunt. She was to buy her aunt out of the business when she could, but Paola has found a use for the bistro and is refusing to sell. When Bella finds out that the bistro is being used for illegal purposes, what can she do? Her cousin Tony was recently released from prison and has a new acquaintance, Jimmy Santoro aka Jamie. Neither one was expecting the attraction that would flare between them, or the danger they would soon face. Jamie soon realizes that Bella is not involved in her aunt’s schemes, but when he brings the aunt down, who will be left standing? An exciting, suspenseful and romantic addition to the series. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Review copy was received from NetGalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I've read all the Federal K-9 series. Each of the guys and their dog work for a different federal agency but they know each other through K-9 training and some inter-agency operations. Above N Beyond is the final book in the series. Each book could be read standalone although the other guys show up in them.
Jamie is a sergeant in the Port Authority. He agrees to go undercover if they will parole his father early so he can get cancer treatment. He has to go in prison for 6 months to establish his badness to get in with the Mancuso crime family. It's set up for him to save Tony Mancuso's life. Tony and Jamie get out together and he starts working with the mobsters.
But Jamie is attracted to Bella who runs the bistro which is the base for their money laundering. He starts helping at the restaurant and they just become more attracted and involved. It's very dangerous for them both. One of the other men has always wanted Bella so he hates Jamie. Jamie knows that when the criminal organization is taken down she will lose the restaurant which she has worked to build over the years.
Bella knows better than to get involved with any mobsters. It's bad enough that her aunt and cousin, Tony, treat her like a servant and use the restaurant for their meetings. She wants to buy her aunt out but the aunt won't consider it. So Bella is stuck with the criminals and could be convicted right along with them.
The situation is suspenseful. Jamie or Bella could be killed any time by the criminal family. Jamie's father could die of cancer before he is able to get evidence for conviction so the FBI agrees to do a deal for his release. Bella could find out Jamie is a cop and never want to see him again. The tension was rock beating on me. It was a good ending with the other guys showing up for a party, to see them all again.
This book follows Jamie/Jimmy as he works an undercover job with the FBI in exchange for getting his father out of prison as a way to save his life since he is battling a rare form of cancer. The deal Jamie had made was to go undercover and join a mob family- The Mancusos, who were branched off from a larger mafia family The Palumbo crime family. Jamie had originally started this mission in prison which is where the book starts off, and the FBI had paid a fellow prisoner to try to attack Tony Mancuso so that Jamie would have the opportunity to step in and save him and try to get in with the family. The plan worked and the next day, Tony had requested to speak to Jamie to thank him and offer him a job once they were all released. After a month, Jamie finally reaches out and meets up with Tony and the rest of his group to get the ball rolling with the mission. When he meets Tony, he also meets Tony’s cousin Bianca- our love interest. Bianca has a strict rule with herself that she won’t date anyone who is associated with Tony so she tries to stay very far away, but part of Jamie’s plan was to get on Bianca’s good side to find out more information. Throughout the book, we have a third person pov so we get glimpses inside both Jamie’s and Bianca’s heads. Jamie constantly has an inner battle with himself because as their relationship grows, he wants to keep Bianca out of trouble with the FBI but he knows he can’t. This book is full of action, humor, and some steamy tension and I absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to go back through and read the other books in the series since these are all considered standalones. Not reading the other books first didn’t hinder my enjoyment or understanding of what was going on, so I highly highly recommend.
I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I love a good K9 series and this one did not disappoint. Going undercover is no easy task especially in a prison. When released, finding a love connection with someone in the crime family is no easy task either.
Hang on for the ride and find out if Love can conquer all.
Above ‘N’ Beyond is the seventh and final addition to Tee O’Fallon’s amazing Federal K-9 series. It is an action packed, romantic suspense novel involving law enforcement, their K-9 partners and mobsters. The storyline was fantastic and well written, while the connection and chemistry between the main characters kept the reader enthralled. I couldn’t put the book down.
Port Authority and K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio agreed to go to jail and undercover in order to infiltrate the Mancusco crime family. He never expected to fall for the beautiful Bella Bianco, the part owner of Bianco Bistro and niece to the mobster he was investigating. Jamie and Bella can’t trust each other, but if they want to survive the mob and keep those they love alive, they’ll have to learn. Will Jamie and his K-9 partner, Jax be able save the women he loves? Read it and find out!
I loved Jamie and Bella together. The author did an amazing job of portraying the angst and emotions each of the characters were dealing with. Their journey was heart warming and tear jerking to read. Another fantastic story by one of my favourite authors.
The books in this series can be read as a standalone, but they are best enjoyed when read in order as O’Fallon often links characters and storylines from the previous books.
You will absolutely fall in love with Jamie and Bella. Never in a million years did Jamie think him going undercover would change his life so profoundly. When Jamie met Bella he knew that there was something special about her and having to lie about his name among other things was so hard. He never knew that trying to save his dad would put him in such a situation. Jamie is determined to save his dad and Bella at all costs. Will Jamie make it out alive along with those he loves? I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
All I can say is where has Tee O'Fallon and her K-9 series been all of my life?! Above N Beyond was so good that I am kicking myself for not reading more of her books before now. This story really has it all, Port Authority officer Jamie Pataglio has been working undercover for months. The story starts with him undercover in prison to try and make contact with Tony Mancusco so that when they are both paroled he can infiltrate the Mancusco crime family. The reason behind Jamie taking this dangerous job is out of love. His father is ill and the only way that he has a chance of getting him the life saving care that he needs is to help the FBI on this dangerous mission. Everything is going according to plan until Jamie meets Tony's cousin, restaurateur Bella Bianco. Bella lost her parents at a young age and was raised by her aunt Paola alongside her cousin Tony. Bella is well aware that her aunt is a rising member of organized crime but she doesn't want anything to do with that however her aunt is the majority owner of the restaurant and won't sell Bella her shares. Bella has no interest in involving herself with any criminals however from the moment she meets Jamie aka Jimmy they have an instant connection. Add to that Jamie's constant four legged companion Jax and how can Bella keep her heart safe? These two are really going to need to open up the walls that they both have erected in order to get the HEA that they both deserve. I really liked this story. It has the perfect mixture of realism and escapism with just a bit of heat to spice things up. Above N Beyond was told from dual POV and if you're anything like me you will find yourself running to read the rest of the books in the series asap!
Sergeant James Pataglio has out his life in hold to save his father. Six month in prison to infiltrate the Mancuso’s, a mob family, is a tough job but it gets harder when he can’t help his feelings for Bianca Mancuso. Family ties, betrayal, mistrust and lies are in the way if their love story. Intense and full of emotions. A good end to a good series.
I cannot resist to a book with a dog or a cat on the cover and like this series. This is an entertaining and gripping novel that kept me on the edge and rooting for the characters
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
Above 'N' Beyond by author Tee O'Fallon is the final installment of her Federal K-9 series. Jamie, a good man that believes he is bad and Isabella (Bella), small in stature but mighty in spirit, are perfect together. They both have big hearts and effortlessly provide emotional support for each other.
Call me late to the party since I read the last book of this series first. Even without having read the rest of the series, I could absolutely feel the comradery between Jamie and the characters from the previous books. Now I need to read them all. If you're looking for a romantic suspense story that flows so well the pages practically turn themselves, this is the book for you.
I received an E-ARC via the author, Entangled Publishing via NetGalley, and this is my honest review.
A Binge Read
The FBI want to take down the Mancuso crime family and make K-9 handler Jamie Pataglio an offer he cannot refuse. In return for infiltrating the inner circle of the Mancuso’s and obtaining evidence to convict them, the FBI will arrange for Jamie’s sick father to be paroled early. Unfortunately the deal includes him having to spend six months in prison and, deceiving an innocent woman that he falls for. Loved it - highly recommended.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This story had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end due to the danger. Jamie has his work cut out for him while working undercover and infiltrating a crime family. There's already been others who have died, and he will have to walk a thin line to make sure he doesn't suffer the same fate. Then to further complicate matters, he finds himself attracted to Bella Bianco, the niece of the head of the Mancuso crime family.
This is a multi-layered story. In addition to the constant danger, both of the main characters have challenges to deal with. For Jamie, it is feeling that there is a darkness in him that makes him unworthy of having a relationship and love. For Bella, it is dealing with the fact that her family is part of the mafia and her desire to free the restaurant from her aunt's control. As the story progresses, you can't help but fall in love with these two and hope for a HEA for the two of them.
