Above N Beyond is the last book in the Federal K-9 Series.
This book grabbed my attention from the start, and I could not put it down.
Sargeant Jamie Pataglio aka "Jimmy" has been undercover in jail for 6 months trying to get in with the Mancuso Crime Family. He ends up saving the Mob bosses son and once he is released from prison he & his K-9 partner Jax go to work for them.
Bella is the niece of "The God Mother" and she runs a successful restaurant, that she co-owns with her aunt. And her aunt is always using it for meetings and is laundering money through it. Bell knows that her family are part of the mob and she is trying to get out from under her aunts thumb. But she feels stuck.
Bella and Jamie have an instant attraction / connection, and both try to fight it. Jamie doesn't know if she is an innocent bystander of if she is involved. And Bella promised herself she would never get with a "made man", but these two cannot deny what they feel for each other.
Jamie hates lying to Bella, and when things go south, can he keep Bella safe? Can they move on with their relationship?
This was another great read from Tee O'Fallon
This book had my attention from the very beginning. The plot was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see how the author was going to blend her felon into the story.
With a mob-style story ramping up the excitement and suspense, it was easy to get addicted to the story. It was tough to envision how O’Fallon was going to bridge and develop the romance between the two main characters.
However, she pulled it off! With that slow-burn connection, the intensity between the characters, and the wonderful K-9 didn’t hurt either by almost stealing the show. Love Jax!
Both of the two main characters were strong and likable. Jamie, with his sweet care and concern, his tender heart is a perfect balance for Bella. She is strong and stands up to her family in ways that would certainly get her removed from the family when tensions run high. I love that O’Fallon adds plenty of relatable family and personal issues they both have to deal with which ties them even closer.
Above ‘N’ Beyond is fast-paced, addicting, and suspenseful, with a bit of steam for the romance lovers. The ending was explosive and capped off this series perfectly!
I am going to miss this team! O’Fallon is the queen of the K-9 Cops!
Above N Beyond is my first book from this author. Looking into the series, the other books look just as good as this one was. (I also have a soft spot for books with dogs). The author does a great job mixing action with romance. Jason and Bella have a great connection. I was on the edge of my "couch" while reading. There is so much at stake for both Bella and Jason. This is nail-biting suspense at its best.
Thank you to the publisher for the Netgalley link!
4.5⭐
Above 'N' Beyond brings the rather enjoyable Federal K-9 series to an end.
As undercover K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio takes on the biggest assignment of his career and probably the most dangerous and personal.
As he infiltrates a well-known and extremely dangerous crime family in order to get his dad out of prison to undergo cancer treatment and take the Mancuso family down.
And everything goes to plan until he meets Bella, the niece of the Mancuso "godmother", and the co-owner of the bistro where the family run their business from. Something Bella is powerless to stop and a total innocent in the world her family inhabits.
And someone Jamie immediately connects with and is attracted too.
But he can't risk her finding out who he really is.
Yet, as the danger mounts and the pair get closer Jamie struggles to keep his cover intact and protect the woman he's falling for.
But will Bella be able to forgive Jamie when she learns the truth and more importantly will Jamie be around to find out.
And with the perfect amount of suspense and romance. Not to mention such an engaging storyline and really likable characters including Jax, Jason's K-9 companion. This was a really enjoyable end to an engaing series, and honestly I think this has been my favourite one.
I would happily recommend Above 'N' Beyond to all.
This is book seven in The Federal K-9 series and it is Jamie and Bella’s story and it is the final book in this series and definitely a must read. Jamie is a K-9 sergeant and needs to go undercover in a maximum security prison so that he can get in with the Mancusco Crime Family so that he can get the information needed to take them down but six months later and he is out of prison and he had been excepted into the mob but going into the criminal underworld would be a death sentence if he is ever discovered so he needs to be alert and on his toes and keep his whits about him and not get distracted by Bella who he was instantly attracted to. Bella absolutely loved her Bistro but now her family has taken it over and using it as there criminal base and now everything is a nightmare and somehow she needs a way out of the mess that she finds himself in before they take her down with them and then she would lose the life that she wanted and not the life that her family leads because she doesn’t want any part of the criminal activity that her family is in but who can she trust without them betraying her. Jamie and Bella are attracted to each other right from the start and there chemistry is off the charts hot but trust is a big issue and neither know if they can trust each other but will they be able to eventually work together and start to trust each other so that they can bring down her family so that they are both free but they both know that one false move and they would both end up dead. Wow I absolutely love this book with all its twists and turns along the way and it will have you turning the pages while on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next and it was so addictive that I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.
4,5/5
I REALLY liked this book, so now I just need to go back and read the rest of the series.
It was a bit slow and I struggled a bit in the beginning, but once you got into it was chefs kisses.
It had the right amount of spicy and love (in my opinion). At the same time you just wanted to keep reading. It was unpredictable with some plot twists.
My only issue is that I didn't find this series sooner, now I need to go back and read the previous books.
If you like maffia, undercover cop and complicated romance, don't just wait, grab this book now!!
Wow what a fantastic way to wrap a series that I didn't want to end.
It VERY nearly made it onto my top reads list. The only reason it didn't was more probably to my frame of mind, I wanted to shake sense into the female main character more than once/for many reasons.
But that reason/reaction can also point towards the glaringly obvious sign of how talented this author is.
Which I already knew and she's definitely becoming a firm favourite fast.
Buckle in for one last ride with this crew, you won't be able to look away from cover to cover.
Definitely recommend.
Jamie has been undercover for 6 months locked up in prison trying to get in good with Tony. When another inmate tries to shank Tony and Jamie steps in front of him that was his in. Now that he is out and getting closer to Paola the godmother as they call her who also happens to be Tony's mom he didn't expect to get attached to Bella. Bella owns 49 percent of the restaurant that her Aunt does business out of. Jamie has to decide if Bella is a part of it or if she is just an innocent bystander in the family business. Jamie is hoping innocent because he is starting to have feelings for Bella that he shouldn't have and he hates lying to her.. He hopes he can make her understand why he is doing this and he has a very big reason for going undercover.
K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio is going undercover at a maximum security prison in order to infiltrate the Mancuso crime family. When he’s been accepted as part of the mob, he thinks he has it all figured out. The only problem is small and gorgeous, Bella Bianco.
Bella is part owner of the Italian bistro where her violent family uses it as their home base. Bella seems to be guilty by association and wants to find a way out.
Bella and Jamie can’t be trusted together. They both want to break free of their circumstances and they don’t have a choice, they have to take down Bella’s family, and if anyone finds out they’re working together…they’re both dead.
This was an interesting book focusing on a Port Authority K-9 Sergeant and his dog Jax. I loved that he was going undercover for his dad to get cancer treatment, it was very sweet and made me enjoy his character that much more. Bella was well thought out and done as well. I did feel that some of the elements of this story were a little far fetched and maybe not as well researched as I’d like, but if you don’t think too hard it will be okay. This was a really sweet book, and how can you not love a book featuring an amazing dog and some spice between the main characters?
If you are looking for a wonderful romantic suspense novel, then check this one out.
This is the seventh book written by this author featuring a man in uniform and their K9 companion. All the books are stand alone and can be read individually.
Thank you so much to @tlcbooktours, the publisher, and netgalley @netgalley for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.
3.5 stars rounded to 4
Jamie is a K9 Port Authority agent deep under cover for a case that means the most to him. He meets Bella, his target’s cousin and life as he knows it is flipped on its end. Bella is a successful restaurant owner caught in the web of deceit by her mafia family. She always had an iron clad rule about made men but there’s something about Jimmy/Jamie that surprises her as he’s not the usual guys her cousin hangs out with. The heat between these two starts out at a simmer but soon is boiling over. Throw in some cute canines ( Jax and Gnocchi), a bit of action and suspense, and some family drama on both sides and this book is an adrenaline rush that had me racing to the end to find out what happens. This book is a part of a series and I’m sad to say this is the end of the authors K9 series, but what a way to go. Between the canine interactions and the mafia angle it’s a mix of sweetness and drama. While you don’t have to read the other books in this series to enjoy this one I highly recommend that you. In fact it might be my favorite of them all ( I guess the author was saving the best for last). 5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this arc. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book.
Wow so sad to have this series end.
Can not belive we are on book 7!
What a ride!
If you haven't read this series yet,.you must. It is great. It must be folks! 7 books! Speaks for itself!
Recommend. Recommend.
OMG I loved this one!
It starts off very exciting and the action never lets up. I was engaged the whole time while reading and didn't want to put it down. I thought the premise was interesting and had a nice twist on the typical tropes.
I really loved the MFC Bella. I sympathized with her and was rooting for her the whole story. Jamie was so swoon worthy too! He was protective, smart and kind. Feel as hard for him as Bella did. The addition of the K-9 dog is always a plus and I enjoyed how the dog saved the day multiple times. All of the characters are well developed, have clear motivations and grow by the story's end.
Everything plot-wise was really well orchestrated. Every scene had a purpose and kept the story exciting.
Sadly, this is the last book in this series but I am excited to see what O'Fallon writes next. Would definitely recommend if you love romantic suspense, military heroes, heroine in danger, forbidden romance and action packed books.
Above 'N' Beyond is part of the Federal K-9 series and I found it to be as enjoyable as the other books in the series that I've read. The suspense and action were gripping and kept me hooked all the way till the end of the book. I found both Jamie and Bella to be wonderful characters with great chemistry and both Jax and Gnocchi were adorable.
Sorry to see the end of this series, this last book is now my favorite. We meet Bella and Jamie, who are battling the same issues, in opposing directions. Action, steam, romance and of course Jax, along with his new sidekick, Gnocchi, make this storyline so special. Do not miss this newest by Tee O’Fallon.
Thank you Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. What a way to end the K-9 series, this novel holds your attention throughout. Could not put it down. Cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us readers next. This is a typical Tee O'Fallon great read. It does not disappoint. READ IT.

Admittedly it's probably just me...but I can't get past the author describing the hero as having a satanic beard or saying that was the name that came to mind for him.
I'm unable to recommend this title and choose not to finish it.
Above ‘N’ Beyond is sadly the final book in the Federal K-9 series, and while I’m sorry to have no more of these friends to look forward to, I am happy to have finally read Jamie’s book. It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for it, but I absolutely can’t complain—it was fast-paced and action-packed and almost exactly what I hoped it would be.
And when I say, “almost exactly”, I mean it. This is where I confess that, over the course of this series, as the mystery surrounding Jamie grew, I’ve often imagined how his story would go. (With me as the heroine? Mayyyyyyybe LOL.) Well, Above ‘N’ Beyond was a faithful, if way more detailed—and let’s be honest, far better—recreation of those imaginings. Jamie undercover. Jamie and his K9, Jax, winning over a woman who can’t resist them. Crime, bad guys, secrets, high tension and even higher stakes written with knowledge and excitement. Friendship that can be counted on. And, of course, intense chemistry turning into true love.
Guys, this was such a good read. I can’t stress that enough. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and read it as fast as I could while still savoring it. I knew it was the final book in a series I’ve loved, raved about, and re-read multiple times, after all. (I’m already planning my re-read if this one, BTW.)
So, yes, I’m sad there will be no more from Jamie and his six incredibly lovable friends and their dogs, but the reward for waiting was great. This book was great. And the great news is, we have more to look forward to from Tee O’Fallon in the future and I can’t wait for that either.
This has been an awesome series. I like the way the author draws on her experiences in law enforcement to write her stories, always including romance for our hero. The stories are believable, yet my heart always seems to belong to the K-9 attached to the officer. Above and Beyond is just what the title says, that Jamie will go above and beyond his duty to make sure justice is served and if Bella is innocent, protect her too.

I received an eARC for my honest opinion.
This book is the number 7 in the series, and it is the last book. You don’t have to read them in order but man I wish that I would have read the others before this one because it would have given me a little bit more about the side characters (Jamie's friends) and honestly this author knows how to write. This was my first Tee O’Fallon book, and it will not be my last one. I can’t wait to read the other books of this series. This book was fast paced, and easy to read. You will find yourself at the end of the book before you even know it and will leave you wanting more, but luckily for me I have the first six to read now.
In this book you will meet Jamie, who is an undercover cop that infiltrates a mob family and gets evidence to take them down. However, while he is infiltrating the family, he falls for the cousin of the person he has befriended to get in good with the mob. Bella is a sweet and kind woman; she doesn’t date mobsters at all, and she has a real hate for her aunt and her way of always holding Bella under her thumb. You will also get to meet some cute dogs in this book, Jax and Gnocchi. I liked both dogs a lot, but I loved Jax the most, he is such a sweetheart and protective.
I thought the characters in the book were well developed, they had moments of growth, they were likeable and easy to connect with. Bella was easy to connect with for me because I could relate to her on a few things and if I was in her shoes, I would have probably done the same thing when I found out the truth from Jamie about who he really was. Jamie is a sweetheart deep inside and when he meets Bella he wants to change and do better for her. You see the changes in him, but you also see that he really doesn’t see himself the way the reader does or the way that Bella does. You will watch these characters come to accept what life has given them for now but then you will watch them fight for what they want: love, acceptance, freedom, family and more. I loved getting to watch their journey throughout this book and I hope that you will as well
I want to thank NetGalley and Entangled Pub for the opportunity to review this book.
Above And Beyond is the 7th and final book in Tee O’Fallons Federal K-9 series and it sends this series off with a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 bang!
Port Authority K-9 Sergeant Jamie Pataglio has been working his way undercover into the Mancuso Crime Family. After saving Tony Mancuso, Mafia capo’s life in a prison attack Jamie along with his faithful K-9 Jax is introduced to Tony’s cousin Bella Bianco. Despite his instant attraction to Bella, Jamie decides to use her connection to her cousin to help him gather the evidence he needs to bring the crime family down.
Tee writes really relatable, likeable, lead characters. She describes their inner turmoils well and shows that not everything in life is black & white as evidenced by Jamie’s reasons for going undercover. K-9 Jax is definitely a full character in this book and you can’t help smiling at his antics. I love how Tee uses these books to highlight the extraordinary and necessary work K-9’s do. Tee’s experience in law enforcement is clear to see throughout this book and definitely helps to make the story believable.
If I were to have a criticism of this book I would say there were a couple of scenes where I wondered why Jamie didn’t check for bugs etc (in his and Bella’s apartments …especially after Jamie has an unwanted visitor.) and he seemed to go from being very cautious with deleting calls etc on his phone at the beginning to being rather blasé…being a Federal agent I would assume this stuff would be bread & butter to him.
Although it is the seventh and final story in the Federal K-9 series it can be read quite easily as a one off. Characters from previous books in the series have cameos towards the book’s end which helps link the series together but it’s not essential to have read them to enjoy this story.
This book is an easy read, a good length (around 340 pages) and has a believable HEA. I got so engrossed in it the pages seemed to turn themselves. If you like Law Enforcement/Military romance with light sex scenes (nothing too shocking here) then this author is for you! Tee really does write enjoyable, engaging, interesting books.
I highly recommend this author & this book!
