Ohhhhhhhh the sexual tension is RIPE with this one! If you love vampires (who doesn’t) plus billionaires (swoon) with a dash of grumpy (the grumpier the better) then this book is right up your alley. I’d give it about 🌶️🌶️ but I feel like the heat will be turned up as the books progress. *Warning: ends on a cliffhanger so go ahead and the series ordered now*

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.

I firmly believe that Filthy Rich Vampire has put me in a thrawl. By the end of the first chapter, I was hooked and sneaking in some reading whenever I had a second.

This book is a wonderful mix of romance, action, and banter that kept me entertained throughout every chapter.

The only downfall is that it ends with a Clifford hanged, I need to know what happens next.

Julian Rousseaux is single and very rich, oh yeah and a vampire. When cellist Thea literally stumbles into his life at a gala, he knows she's the last person he could ever fall in love with.
I loved these 2 together and she didn't seem to weirded out to find out he is a vampire. His family wants hm to settle down and have babies, with a witch. Thea isn't good enough for him according to his family. He also has brothers and his best friend is the one they wanted him to marry but they never had feelings with each other. This is the 1st book of series and I really want to read the rest of the books.

When I tell you I just found your new book obsession, I’m serious. 🤩🤩

This book is pretty much if 50 shades of grey was about vampire royalty who observed intense and cultish traditions. It’s sooooooo 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 and there’s lots of growling and “touch my woman and you die” and all those toxic, possessive male things we love in our books. Regardless of the 🌶️ , the plot of this book is amazing and I love the ways these vampires are different than those we are used to.

You will fall in love with Julian, Thea, Celia, Sebastian and Jacqueline and want to punch Sabine in the face. Such a freaking good book. Please read this so I can talk to someone about it!! The good news is that there’s 3 more books!!

Thank you @entangledteen and @netgalley and @brittanyreadsbookies for letting me have the e-arc and for getting me addicted to a new series 😍😍

Julian is the worlds wealthiest vampire but he has one problem, he’s single and he’s expected to have a wife before the season ends. Enter Thea.. a cellist who stumbles into the gala. She’s way too innocent for the character Julian is and the world he belongs to, but that doesn’t stop him from being intrigued by her. So he makes an offer, if she pretends to be his lover than he’ll change her life to something more that she imagines.

I think I enjoyed this story because it totally played out like a K-Drama with a little extra cheese. The writing wasn’t up to par as I’d imagine and cringy in some areas. I liked the concept that the story was going after. I also liked the tropes: fake marriage, some spice, and close proximity. Julian was a douche canoe at times, I guess being a rich vampire who’s the wealthiest and from an elite family will
do that.

I guess in some ways it was the cheesy romance I was looking for to fill my boredom.

3.5 stars rounded up

I can’t remember the last time I read a vampire romance book, but after some spooky season flops, I switched gears to romance. I went into this expecting a regency vampire romance because the synopsis mentions finding a wife before the season ends. It’s not, it’s set in the present day. Just FYI in case regency is what you’re in the mood for. If what you’re looking for is an easy-to-read spicy romance, then pick this up. I flew through it and even stayed up late (by my standards) to read a couple times. At one point I laughed out loud when Thea was imagining how to get revenge on someone, and it involved an envelope full of glitter. That’s exactly the type of thing I think of when I’m mad 🤣. My only complaints really were that I felt like Thea cried constantly. Instalove! Although it seems to work better in vampire romance, it still irks me. Also, there was a scene, which was really important to the story, that was not fully explained. I read it twice and while I know what happened, I don’t understand how, or why. It just happened and then we were told the results. Maybe that will be covered further in book 2. This ended on a cliffhanger, so I expect book 2 will start off running.

100% yes. I love this book and all the rollercoaster of emotions that came with it. Thea who has never had a serious relationship goes head over heels for a rich vampire who takes her across the world and to all the vampire rites that he has too attend. At first he strikes a deal with her to attend all the events with him so that he can get out of being no married of to someone of his mother’s choosing just so that he can produce offspring, but they slowly fall for each other and realize that they are each other’s mate. An occurrence that hasn’t happened n record besides fairytales, but his mother keeps throwing wrenches n his plan so that he’ll do as she says.

Wow this was a wild ride! As a teenager I read a very popular vampire series turned movie franchise and Filthy Rich Vampire spoke to my adult vampire loving heart. You first meet Julian, a centuries old vampire, forced to enter the social season to begrudgingly find a wife. In a twist right off the bat he meets cellist Thea. She had worked her whole life to succeed as a cellist all while taking care of her ailing mother. In a fateful meeting, Julian and Thea form unlikely partnership. This book hasn’t all: vampires, enemies to lovers, fake dating, spice, etc. This is a must read and the cliff hanger will have you running to read the second book!

I enjoyed this story! It's been a long time since I've read a vampire book. I loved Julian and his entire personality. I will definitely be checking out Geneva Lee's other books!

ARC REVIEW

Thank you to Entangled Publishing for gifting me a copy of this ebook in exchange of an honest review.

This book was adult Twilight. Overall it was an enjoyable read, and it was just fun to to be in the vampire world again. I enjoyed the story and relationship development, though there is much more to be developed in the other books to come I’m sure. If your looking to get your vampire fix and to add a bit of spice this is your book. I did at times find myself skimming over some chapters as it was predictable.

Newly edited and for the first time in print with Entangled Publishing, a small publisher that is rapidly spitting out beautiful books and growing to be a romance icon!
Filthy Rich Vampire book one follows Julian as he wakes from a 39 year nap. He has been summoned by his mother to take part in the traditional Rites, where the eldest pureblood (vampire born) must marry a familiar (a witch) and produce children. But Julian stumbles across a human at the first unofficial party of the social season and she’s just too delicious to pass up.
There is something else about Thea too, though. He feels drawn to her. He wants to protect her no matter what, and he cannot lie to her or compel her. She fascinates him, and she’s innocent in more than one way of the world.
When Thea drops her entire life to pretend to be his girlfriend so he won’t have to marry, things become intense and they change… soon, it’s apparent that Julian and Thea each want something more but with Julian’s mother actively fighting against a human vampire pairing, and something sinister happening to vampires, will it be more than they can handle?

I absolutely loved this book. I see that it was coined as “The Vampire Diaries meets Bridgerton”. I admittedly have never read or watched Bridgerton but I love TVD’s and now I am getting serious Damon vibes from Julian. It’s hard not to imagine Ian Somerhalder as this character fights against his desires for Thea, who in my mind is Thea from Arrow (Willa Holland). There: I just dream casted the two main characters. Let’s go make this into a series now.

I picked up book one as an ARC but I will absolutely be reading the additional 3 (four books total) that have already been published because it was THAT good. I want to find out more about what is going on in this world. And I have a sneaking suspicion about a character… I want to see if I’m right!

This review is 100% my own thoughts on this book! 10/10 recommend.

Oh my… this was SPICY. The tension between the two characters added a wonderful touch to the overall steamy romance in this forbidden love romantasy. First off, who doesn’t love a handsome, gentleman of a vampire who meets his match in a strong willed, independent human woman? I was a little nervous at first it would be a spicy Twilight, but this was so much better! Thea’s struggles in having too much on her plate and the burnout she endured considering trying to reach her goals was so relatable and Julian with his rebellion against what was expected of him was a fantastic layer that added so much dynamic to the storyline. I went into this novel expecting superficial romance but finished it with a love of the characters I didn’t expect. This is a must read for all romantasy lovers! Thank you Entangled and Netgalley for my ARC!

Filthy Rich Vampire is an old world vampire meets the new world story. Lee's vampire is grumpy, a billionaire and not looking for love. This age-gap romance is imaginative, sexy and bordering on dark themes.

OK what I didn't get a happily ever after and need book #2 of this series. What happens?!?!?!?

Thank you Entangled Publishing for the complimentary copy.

I had never heard of this series and am so glad I came across it with this print version.

It combines my favorites of romance and vampires. While I liked Julian and Thea together, his pet name for her (pun intended) drove me a little crazy. Also a little of the way Thea falls right into this vampire lifestyle seems a little far fetched but I guess if I met a gorgeous, filthy rich vampire, maybe I would too

Filthy Rich Vampire felt as if Twilight and Bridgerton had a baby, while it definitely had its own worldly elements, I just kept thinking back to Twilight as I was reading and the similarities between the two. The plot was decent, a billionaire thousand-year-old vampire falls for a fragile human forsaking his duties of producing an heir all for a woman he knew for .2 seconds. I wished we had delved into the vampire world a bit more, but there are three other books so there is plenty of time to learn along with the FMC. The instant-lust was quick, with Julian and Thea falling hard and fast. The two MCs were easy enough to like, and I found myself rooting for them as the book continued. The sexual tension throughout the book was insane, and I found myself wondering if this is how Bella and Edward were feeling before she became a vampire... I felt a little bothered by the FMC’s Virginity being such a prominent topic throughout the book, but I did feel it worked in the author's favor and didn’t ruin the story for me. Although this book didn’t end on a HEA I can’t wait to find out what happens next and read more of Thea and Julian’s story! thank you to Entangled Publishing and to the Author for giving me the opportunity to read this book as an ARC!

Sadly I had to dnf this book. I really tried but I could not get past a few of the tropes. I do not like an instant love type of thing & I really thought the main character was too young. Especially since the vampire was like 1000 years old. I also thought it went super quick in the begin and then the plot started going at snail speed.

I did not want this to end! From start to finished I was enthralled.

I took a gamble on Filthy Rich Vampire and I won! I loved this book!

I generally hate the billionaire boyfriend trope. Figured it would be easier to stomach in a vampire novel. It is! The guy is nearly 1000 years old, of course, he has money! Our vampire Julian does have some of those toxic alpha male vibes, but he's trying to be better. Thea is 22 and she took a big risk in this story. She's brave and knows her worth. A heroine we can all root for!

It ends on a cliff hanger. I immediately went looking for the second book. Sadly I don't have kindle unlimited. I am tempted though. I need to know what happens! The ending set us up for some political intrigue. I think this series is going to be good!

Thank you Entangled Publishing, LLC, and NetGalley for this eARC!

Okay, so I really don't care for the vampire genre, in books and movies, just never really interested me. So when I read the summary on Filthy Rich Vampire, the thing that stuck out to me was grumpy billionaire meets young college student, I mean seriously, who doesn't like a grumpy billionaire meet his match? I could over look the Vampire part, right? Holy moly, was I wrong about this Vampire thing, and to top it off I've discovered a new author I'm now obsessed with.

Julian and Thea had me enthralled from page one until the very last word on the last page. This very well written book is full of twists and turns, humor, angst, steamy heart throbbing moments, very endearing moments and scenes you just want to smack someone up along side the head. I loved every bit of it, and I don't know whether to scream that it ended on a cliffhanger or kneel at the authors feet because the story continues. Incredibly entertaining book, can't wait to read the next installment.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Filthy Rich Vampire is the first book in the Filthy Rich Vampires series by Geneva Lee Albin. I'd give this a 3.75/5 ⭐️.

First impressions: The cover is beautiful and it caught my eye immediately. I saw that this book was described as Twilight meets Bridgerton and I can definitely see that in the book. The first half of the book took me a bit to get into, but I held on and the last half was ok. I didnt love the cliffhanger. At this point I didn't love or hate it, but I am not running to read book two super fast. It was over all pretty fast paced and I felt the pacing evened out in the last half. Parts of the story were fun, steamy and unique, but some parts were very common to all vampire books. I would like to have seen a little more build up to their relationship, just a little insta for me. If you loved Twilight, but wanted a little more adult/spice, you will most likely love this.
