This book delivers a satisfying blend of paranormal romance, billionaire intrigue, and the allure of forbidden love.

In "Filthy Rich Vampire," we follow Thea, a struggling student cellist, who unexpectedly finds herself drawn into the mesmerizing world of Julian, a vampire with a strong aversion to marriage. Julian proposes a unique arrangement: Thea pretends to be his girlfriend for the upcoming year, and in return, he'll provide much-needed financial support for her mother's medical bills.

However, as the social season kicks off and Thea becomes immersed in this perilous realm, chaos ensues. The story takes a thrilling turn, and things take an unexpected and dangerous twist.

While the world-building doesn't delve too deeply into the paranormal aspects, the vampires' rich history adds depth to the narrative. In the final quarter of the book, vampire politics enter the scene, bringing violence and danger, along with Julian's mother's determined efforts to remove Thea from his life. The plot takes its time to build, but it lays the groundwork for a larger conflict on the horizon.

The romance in the story is undeniably passionate, almost instantaneously filled with desire. So, if you're not a fan of whirlwind romances, this may not be your cup of tea. Love confessions come in their own time, and without giving away any spoilers, it happens when you least expect it.

Personally, I have a soft spot for the tension of forbidden love, and this book effectively combines both. It serves as an engaging series opener, promising more intriguing developments in the future. I see great potential in the story and look forward to what comes next.

This book was better than I expected and lived up to what I’ve heard about it. It has all the sexy, rich vampire vibes and I was loving it. Thea’s character was funny and relatable and the story was enjoyable to read plus the spice 🌶️😍

Why not 5 stars?
Honestly, vampires just aren’t my thing. I almost never read vampire books and they don’t quite hit the same but this one was amazing. Would recommend to vampire lovers and my fellow sceptics.

♥️ Forbidden romance
♥️ Slow burn spice
♥️ Vampire/human romance
♥️ Fake dating

Thank you Brittany from Entangled for the eARC!

Thank goodness this is a completed series because I went right to Amazon and got a KU trial so I could keep reading! This series definitely gives me Pretty Women meets Twilight meets 50 Shades of Gray vibes and I am here for it! It feels like it takes the best elements from those mentioned and makes them better (I’m honestly not sure how that is even possible but here we have it). It gives a new feel to paranormal romance without being over the top in my opinion. I am really enjoying learning the lore of creatures and how they use and value each other.

I really enjoy Geneva's take on fated characters, it feels interesting and I welcome a take on them feeling more in a relationship vs just accepting the bond. You get the chance to explore them getting to be in a fake relationship, and while they enjoy each other's company they know it can’t last and is just a means to an end, even when that void is felt. I am interested to see if this changes over the course of the series just due to the family dynamic and hatred that is in place for Thea due to her not being a familiar or vampire.

This was my first novel by Geneva and I can see why it is so popular! Congrats on the release of the physical book and I cannot wait to finish this series! I will also be keeping an eye out for Filthy Rich Fae!! I can’t wait to see how the two series tie together.

Book is unreadable in the format it is in. Front cover image somehow takes up 8 pages alone and the text is all over the place. Unfortunately has been a trend with Entangled Publishing files.

Holy Hot Vampire!
When a 900 year old purebred vampire awakes from a couple decades long nap, his mother lets him know it’s time for him to find a wife to breed new purebreds ASAP!
At the first event, he is sucked into the sound of a human cellist and finds himself unable to force compulsion on her, which should be impossible. The other vampires have marked her as a target and he makes an agreement with her to protect her while she pretends to be his girlfriend in hopes to skip the arranged marriage.

It’s filled with cute and feisty banter that had me flipping pages until the very end. It ends on a cliffhanger and was happy I could read the rest of the series in record time!

Definitely Five Stars!

I have fallen hard for Julian and Thea! The author took paranormal romance and fake dating and created something purely magical. Not only did I enjoy the main characters, but I also connected with several of the side characters. I enjoyed the humor of a vampire navigating technology after sleeping for several decades. The slow burn paid off with the spicier scenes. I can’t wait to continue the series and discover where their relationship takes them.

I had no idea that this was on Kindle Unlimited or that there were several books already released in the series when I read this arc. This arc is in preparation for this being released in paperback. I was immediately enthralled. LOVE the characters and storyline. The ending!!!!! Thank god that the rest is waiting for me on Kindle Unlimited. I will definitely be purchasing the physical books. I can see this series as one that I reread often.

First, I want to thank the publisher for this ARC but this was already released!! and because of that, I bought the whole series!
Uhuh! I was hooked. I enjoyed the story but it was tedious, the back and forth of the main characters. Their attraction to each other is very obvious and admitted they love each other but I really don't understand why can't they be.. I mean, 2-3 beating around the bush is enough then direct to the point explain WHY NOT!???

The ending is a cliffy but will read the next books in the series definitely!

I always like reading authors' takes on vampires and this story definitely had some different story lines than you see with other vampires. I found the vampire social season and Rites interesting and hope the second book gets into more details on this as not much has been explained to Thea (and therefore us) yet. I enjoyed this story and thought it was a quick read. I will definitely read the next book in the series as the first left us on a cliffhanger.

Thank you Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

Oh man, this was too good! Filthy Rich Vampire hit the ground running with its fast paced, steamy plot and I devoured every page. At times I felt as if Thea and Julian spilled over into a poorly done miscommunication trope, but thankfully, the author kept these instances as minor set backs and not relationship ending messes. I didn’t realize I enjoyed the virgin FMC trope, yet here I am, absolutely blushing and kicking my feet. Filthy Rich Vampire is every bookish girl’s dream - a rich, ridiculously handsome, kind vampire wants to fly me around the world, take me to parties, and buy me a new wardrobe? Sign me up! This was a fun read and I’m definitely sticking around for the rest of the series.

Rating: 4/5
I received an eARC for my honest opinion.

I love a good sexy, commanding vampire… oh and one that is filthy rich, Yass.

I liked that this plot was different from other ones that I have read. Yes, it still has the same old plot but with a twist, for one, these vampires are royalty, and they’re really old (like centuries old). Two vampires can have babies but only if they marry a witch.

In this book you will see the relationship between Julian and Thea start. It all starts with an agreement of fake dating, and she gets all the glory from dating a rich vampire. However, throughout the book you see the changes that start happening and where these two find themselves caring for each other more than what they both want to admit. For Julian he fears the life that he would force Thea to have to live and he will not do that to someone (mostly because she is human), and for Thea wasn’t really into this whole world that Julian brought her into but slowly overtime she comes to accept the gifts and the real relationship starts to blossom.

I thought the characters were well developed, I liked that you had one character that had more development than the other but with that cliffhanger at the ending who knows what we might see out of the other character in the second book. I thought the plot was done well, mixing the old with the new outlook on the vampires. The pace was well set, but you have some dragging moments but that is normal in a series, the author must introduce you to the characters and give you a feel of what the plot will become. Just remember if it’s too good to be true, it might be. However, that lustful stage was done perfectly, I mean you can’t be fake dating without some hot sexy time.

I can’t wait to read the second book to see what is next to happen. I recommend this book to anyone who likes fake dating tropes, grumpy meets sunshine, paranormal romance, a little mystery and a lot of secrets.

I want to thank Entangled publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book.

I received an Arc copy and i'm so glad I did. It took me no time to fall in love with this book and with Julian. This book is the perfect mix of romance and fantasy (vampires, witches, etc). The ratio of plot and spice is amazing. The chemistry between julian and Thea is just OMG. I haven't read a romance like this in a while where I can just feel the genuine chemistry and love between two characters. Julian gives off MAJOR if you touch her i'll kill you vibes. The spice is so well done it's not just all 'smutt' it has a very good plot as well. I liked this book so much i actually read the next three books immediately after reading it, now i'm impatiently waiting for any announcement abut the fifth book. This was my first book by Geneva Lee but definitely not my last. I will warn you though that the ending of the first book is heartbreaking. This book def put me back into my vampire reading craze. I know I already stated that I love their chemistry but I just have to say again the love between julian and thea is so real and genuine and just UGHHH I love them.

When a struggling cellist and student finds herself in a party for elite Vampires, everything she knows about life gets upended. Thea is everything Julian is not supposed to be looking for, but the two of them are unable to stay apart - but Julian's mother wants him married off and the vampire council wants Thea out of the picture.

This is quite a fun beginning to a paranormal romance series. Thea is so unused to Julian's lifestyle, and he begins to appreciate things through her eyes, but the forces arrayed against them are vast. This book ends with a cliffhanger that I didn't realize was coming, so now I need to read the next book to see if their relationship is salvageable.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and Netgalley for my eARC.

Thank you so much to Brittany over at Entangled for sending me an eARC of this book! I had seen Geneva Lee's name floating around in the paranormal romance zone as an author to check out, so I was excited to see that Entangled had picked up her books to re-publish.

First things first, this book immediately draws the reader in. The style is compulsively readable, and the world-building is quickly introduced in such a way that it is not difficult to orient oneself to the type of story they should be expecting. The dialogue and narration also stood out, with a good number of laugh out loud lines. As the story progressed to more serious topics, this transitioned neatly into a more heartfelt and dramatic style of writing.

I also really enjoyed both of the main characters. I was immediately able to identify some core aspects of their characterization and became invested in their individual storylines. Of course, the real sparks fly when the two come together. As a romance novel, books like this live and die on the love story, and I thought this one worked really well.

I was a bit disappointed, however, by the ending of the book. Perhaps I'm simply one of those romance readers who truly does want a mostly happy ending from my books. That's not to say that everything should be resolved (especially not in a series!) but I can point to many examples of romantacy stories where the books "ends" in a satisfying way with the primary couple but still sets up a lot of tension for future books. This felt a bit too much like a cliff-hanger for my taste. That aside, however, I will likely continue on with the series based on the strength of this book.

Firstly, I'd like to thank Entangled Publishing for providing a copy of the newly edited version of this book, for review.

If you enjoy the following tropes, I'd bet that you would enjoy this book:
- fake dating
- age gap
- extremely rich MMC
- naïve FMC
- vampire society
- definitely spicy

I'm giving this book a 3/5 rating because it really felt like a Twilight/Fifty Shades story. I did love reading about the magical parts in Paris, and felt like the author did a great job intriguing the reader!

4.5 stars from me! This was perfect if you’re in your vampire romance era or looking for a good fall vampire rec.

Julian has been ‘away’ for a few decades and is rudely wakened and summoned by his mother. Forced to attend a gala which is where he meets Thea, and both their lives change.
I absolutely loved the tension between these two. The constant will they-won’t they kept me on the edge the whole time I was reading. I love that there are the classic vampire elements throughout, while also spinning a few new elements like magic and the rites.

I love that Thea, while normally more of a happy go-lucky, take of her friends and family, hard working college student, setup her own boundaries and found a strong backbone during the course of the book. I can’t wait to keep reading to see her growth.

I will definitely finish out this series.

A fun read for spooky season.

Enjoyed the dual pov and the character development and build up.

Ready for the next book in the series.

3/5

The premise was promising, and I still think it is. I just don't think this first book was for me. Which is usually a good thing! Because if the first book in a series is horrible but still makes me come back for more, I usually enjoy the sequels and the later installments. Julian's family dynamic is interesting, the whole vampiric world is terrific and I'm intrigued to know more.

This is very much a drama you’d find yourself watching on the CW back in the day. Therefore I of course enjoyed the hell out of it! This won’t be for everyone as it’s impractical, illogical, Fantastical, and honestly a bit silly. Which of course is why I loved it… I mean it’s a book about rich vampires with regency vibes in the modern age. The FMC brings up Jane Austen in the beginning a couple of times and I can see a tiny bit of influence from there.

Listen if you like pride and prejudice and zombies but more sexual activity (and no zombies but definite action) then I feel like you could enjoy this one.
