I get and appreciate the 100 word idea, but the writing and execution were very poor. The "stories" (not really stories, just a couple sentences) are so elementary, it's impossible to extract any value or depth of any kind. One was literally plain and simply about a kid who struck out twice then hit the ball the 3rd time. The stories are extremely basic, banal, and flat.

By the Sea reminds us that some things are so deeply embedded in the soul that casting them aside will involve throwing away a piece of ourselves.
Clad in Socks is about refusing to lose your humanity in a world that seems all too quick to snatch it away. We value speed over sustainability, sentiment and substance. And that is a mistake.
Stunning is an illustration of the Zen Wisdom that says that when we change the way we look at things, the things that we are looking at also transform.
In conclusion, there is a great deal of enjoyment to be had from these tiny stories, and also a great deal of wisdom to be unpacked from each of them.
