Finally it’s Viggo’s -the sweetest ultimate people pleaser- book. I’ve been looking forward to his book for so long. He’s the romance reader, the one who was always up on his sibling’s business, the hopeless romantic, and the romance expert. I was interested in seeing how his love story would turn out. And it was really adorable. I loved Talllulah and their reverse grumpy/sunshine dynamic. I loved watching all the family members again. This was just a sweet goodbye to the Bergmans. What a beautiful sweet book to end the series with.

Chloe Liese never misses! This series means everything to me and my heart is both broken and so full after reading this book.
I have been waiting for Viggo's book ever since he found out he loved romance novels. This book did not disappoint. I loved the banter and tension in this book. These two were made for each other and this book proved it.
Seeing the whole Bergman family for one last time was so bittersweet because I know we won't see them like this again.
But the best part of the book was seeing Viggo break through Tallulah's walls and them finding love with each other. Soulmate behavior

It was so nice to finally have Viggo’s story. This was a wonderful end to the Bergman series that Liese has made us all love. Sad that it’s over, but thankful to have these characters living rent free in my mind always.

Sometimes books find you at the right place and right time, like a relationship. I saw myself a lot in this story. A thirty something looking for her purpose and for love. I’ve been on both sides. A cynical anti romantic like Tallulah and over romanticizing romance like Viggo.

Viggo and Tallulah are both searching for something. Viggo is the last in his family to find his partner. He’s been traveling secretly and figuring out his next step. He ends up opening his own business and pouring everything he has into it, despite the strain and not having someone to share it with.

Tallulah is a best selling author who doesn’t believe in love. Her parents have failed her so many times. She’s never seen a true love she can believe in. Her ex did a number on her and she needs inspiration to meet her publisher’s deadline.

Viggo and Tallulah end up in a quasi forced proximity platonic (but not) partnership. They are learning that what they both thought love was isn’t reality. That romance novel delulu and divorce aren’t the only options. Sometimes a vulnerable friendship, a real partnership is messy and hard but it can be genuine and meaningful.

Like Viggo’s brother tells him, the books he reads are all about being brave and taking a chance. Our main couple learn to be brave together and face everything that life and love throws their way.

Leaving this family and this universe is so bittersweet! Iva had the best time with the Bergmans and I don’t want it to end.

Viggo’s book was everything I wa Ted it to be. He was a man of communication and romance and vulnerability - we stan him forever.

OMG I LOVED this so much 🥹. This series is amazing and I loved Viggo and Talullahs story so much. I loved Viggo’s love for romance books and happy endings. I also loved how crafty he was he crocheted, baked and basically could do anything. I also loved his and Tallulah’s chemistry. Tallulah is the opposite of Viggo and doesn’t believe in love and writes thriller novels. I loved their roommate situation and how Viggo helped Tallulah with her thriller book and she helped him run his bookstore. I loved reading about their roommate activities and how crazy Tallulah drives lol. I also appreciated the diabetes and ADHD representation. I loved Viggo’s nickname for Tallulah. Viggo is my favorite character so far and I love how sweet and passionate he is. This series gives me all the warm and fuzzy feelings while reading and I loved reading about all the Bergman family so much.

The end of an era! I loved the tone of this book. It had that signature Chloe Liese quick wit and pervasive charm but it also stood out for its message of healing and hope. I loved that we saw Viggo grow up throughout the series and then we find out he was developing his own complicated relationship with love as he watched his sibings fall into it. I love that we got to explore Viggo's relationship with romance novels as well. I also enjoyed watching him interact with Tallulah who doesn't believe in love. It was SO fascinating to see how they would work out their conflicting views on love as they were so obviously drawn to each other.

Overall, It gave me all the feels and I was so choked up at the end to say goodbye to all these amazing characters. A great note to end the series on!

What a perfect ending to one of my favorite series! I have loved getting to know Viggo’s character in all of the other books so I am so happy that we finally got his story! As someone with ADHD I love reading characters with ADHD and being able to relate to them so much! Tullah, even with all the ways they were opposites, was the perfect love interest for Viggo! I loved watching her slowly melt and their relationship/friendship evolved throughout the story. Both characters on their own were wonderful but together they created something so amazing.

I loved the family bonding in this book and it's truly one of the best parts of the series and what makes it so special.
Saying goodbye to all these characters in this book was so bitter sweet but I think Viggo’s story was the perfect one to wrap it up with! I’m still going to hold out hope that we get the parents' story or something else down the line so we can see where all the characters are!

It's so hard to pick favorites in this series but this one is definitely up there for me!

It's always SUCH a joy to return back to Liese's Bergman world.

Viggo Bergman has been up to something that can FINNALY be let out of the bag (a bookstore). Run just by him, Viggo is living his dream sharing his love of books and rescue animals. Always the lover of romance however; he knows he's missing someone: the love of his life. Tallulah NEEDS inspiration to hit for her second thriller novel. Her meddling sister, of course, thinks this all can be solved with some time spent with her BFF, Viggo. Tallulah has her walls up and doesn't believe in love! But a few months spent living above a bookstore may change everything.

Viggo's book was everything I wanted and more, so relatable with putting together IKEA furniture and believing he can do anything on his own. The representation, as always, is FIRE and reminded me A LOT of just how important it is to see YOURSELF on the page. While I wouldn't necessarily classify O&F as a slow burn, it has aspects of it with that delicious sexual tension and Viggo's sexual histrom revelation! It's hard to rank my top Bergman's in the family of lovely siblings, this one definitely is towards the top.

A lovely way to tie up the Bergman Brothers series with a nice little bow. I'll miss these characters!

Thank you @berkleypub and @berkleyromance for the #gifted ARC of ONLY AND FOREVER!

Based off the Viggo we met in the prior books who is a wild man cub but huge lover of historical romance, I was certain that Viggo’s love story would be full of grand gestures and hijinx. Instead his love story with Tallulah is quiet and gentle. It’s two people taking care of each other and learning to love and be vulnerable… with loads of slow burn sexual tension!

There were swoony moments and times when I absolutely cackled (like when Viggo gets a taste of his own medicine at a Bergman Brothers Summit). I loved that we got to see the family grow (Linnie is truly the best kind of menace and seeing Ren as a new dad was too sweet).

I am so sad that this series has come to an end. I love this giant family so much! I have a feeling this series will be turning into one of my comfort reads. They just give off such strong warm hug energy. 🥰

Only and Forever by Chloe Liese is the last fantastic Bergman novel in the phenomenal Bergman series. Only and Forever follows Viggo, the last single & highly anticipated Bergman sibling. This is book #7 in the series, but any could be read as a standalone. I read the first few of them out of order & loved it so much that I started again from the beginning. Only & Forever feels like a love letter to the Bergman family & their universe & it felt like reading a much needed hug.

Only and Forever is perfect for fans of…
💙 Romance
💙 Roommates/Coworkers
💙 Forced/Close Proximity
💙 Chronic Illness Representation
💙 Mental Health Representation

As a fellow neurodivergent/ADHDer, I thought it was really well represented. I am always grateful for Chloe Liese’s superb writing mixed with the incredible disability representation.

The Bergman’s are one of my absolute favorite fictional families. I loved getting to finally read Viggo’s story including his continued love for historical romances. He’s a fascinating & wonderful character & I loved that he had a fascinating & wonderful love story to match. As someone with brain fog, I am frustrated that my review isn’t doing this series justice.

If you read anything I recommend, THIS is the series I would recommend reading the most. I cannot recommend Only and Forever as well as the entire Bergman series enough. The Bergmans have become a haven for my soul & with bittersweet & beautiful memories, I bid them aidieu….or at least until my next reread. I will now just somewhat patiently & anxiously wait to see what Chloe Liese writes next!

Massive thanks to NetGalley & Berkley Publishing for the gifted copy, which I voluntarily read & reviewed.

I have never felt so seen in a book! Reading this felt like receiving a warm hug from the universe. I am writing a book review and waiting for the author's responses to interview questions for the Feminist Book Club.

Chloe Liese once again flourished in the Bergman brother series. In a beautiful conclusion to the series we finally get to see Viggo find his life passion and the love of his life. The bear cub grows up into a successful adult wanting to show his family he is more than the young jokester he once was.

I can't believe this is the final book in the Bergman family series. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the family grow (literally and physically and mentally) throughout this series. Which means I was ready for Viggo to finally get his HEA (happily ever after). And then I find out the other main character is a diabetic? Finally a love story for us diabetics! You can tell the author did her homework on representation for this book. As a T1D myself it was so refreshing to have the disease not be the character's whole identity and also show the stark realities of living with this 24/7 disease. Most books/movies/TV shows fall into tropes over the disease (here's looking at you Steel Magnolias) so it was such a refreshing take. Not to mention it's just a feel good book/series. I loved that this book is all about growth. It feels real and natural and believable — like I can firmly place myself in that Main Character Energy.

I am so happy I read this book and was recommended this series. This is the perfect book when you need some wholesome, real life, feel good romance.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing group for the ARC!

I admit I am probably pretty dumb for starting a series with the last book, but I don't hate myself for it. I was really drawn to Viggo and his love of romance books and animals and how his ADHD was portrayed just like mine, and also Tallulah who's attachment style and need to be the rock for her family were too real to me. I'm so glad I read their love story first. I will absolutely be going back and reading the rest of the series, but I kind of like the happily ever after glimpses I got of all the couples. Knowing how their stories all truly finish while I read their books will be a little cherry on top!
Whether you start or, more likely, end with this book, it was really enjoyable and I'd recommend reading it!

The final Bergman book was the perfect farewell. It felt so fitting for it to be Viggo's story, after seeing him guide each of his siblings through loves trials and victories. This series will always hold an enormous place in my romance loving heart. Chloe writes love stories that are soft and raw and safe and true. Her stories taught me about my own heart, which I think only the best romance novelists can do. Her books show us that we are all worthy of love just as we are. I cannot wait to read whatever comes next and I know I'll be revisiting the Bergmans over and over for years to come.

And the Bergman siblings saga comes to an end and it’s such a bittersweet moment! It was such a long time coming, such an investment, so many emotions! I loved all of these characters so much and it was so wonderful being able to catch glimpses of them years after their own book ended.

But! There’s a caveat. Viggo and Tallulah’s love story was sweet but it was all vibes. There wasn’t much of a plot in the sense that the conflict wasn’t really a conflict? I know we all love Viggo because he’s the biggest romantic and helped orchestrate his sibling’s HEA, but why did he have to fall into the role of virgin hero? Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with that but there shouldn’t be discourse around that.

I really wanted to love this one. I wanted the ending to this series to feel like fireworks were going off inside my chest. It was more like a light was fizzling out.

I know the Bergman series holds a special place in people’s hearts - it does in mine too! My hopes and expectations were maybe too high coming into this one and it didn’t quite reach. Either way - you should give yourself a chance to read this one and visit the A-frame, I hear the weather is lovely this time of year 🫶🏼

What can I say about the Bergman Brothers series that hasn't been said?
This is a love letter to romance and romance readers. This does a beautiful job of closing the series and honestly if I were to rank them, this one would end up pretty high. Come for the great representation and pining, stay for the steam and relationship building and laughs. So grateful that these are traditionally published now and so more folks will find them. Viggo and Tallulah's story was worth the wait. Lovely to see how everyone has ended up. Oh and Viggo gets his own Bergman Brother's Summit (featuring Seb and Gavin lmao they are family for real).

Representation and tropes: ADHD, Type 1 Diabetes, writer heroine, romance reader hero, demisexual hero (?), finally going to therapy, accepting help, a hero who makes so many things!, cuddling lessons, intimacy lessons (not physical and physical), gift giving as a love language, grump/sunshine, they were roommates, mutual masturbation scene, outdoor sex, virgin hero

CW: dysfunctional parents, abusive past relationship (brief meet on page, no abuse shown but the heroine is uncomfy), sibling with substance abuse

"That’s how you know you really love something, Tallulahloo, when it feels worth the hassle, when even the hardest parts of it feel like a gift.”

You know what is a gift , besides these Bergman books, these beautiful characters?
Chloe Liese is a gift to the literary world.
In her books everyone can see themselves. If you have a disability , something that makes you different, you can see yourself reflected back with love and care and there is a person that is gazing at that character like the sun and moon sets with them. When we are different , we try to make that difference small or compensate or try to blend in . Not in Liese's world. These characters are strong and proud and shine. And as we read what ever thing we compensate for , what ever thing that makes us feel less than, slowly ( if just for awhile ) fades away and we feel like we too can find that type of love.
Here in Only and Forever Viggo , our dreamer of the Bergman family. Our romantic , the one always meddling and stepping in to in to help his family finally found his match in Tallulah, Que Taylor Swift "The One " Siri.

"That’s how you know you really love something, Tallulahloo, when it feels worth the hassle, when even the hardest parts of it feel like a gift.”

Tropes you get :
💛Forced Proximity
💙Friends To Roomates To Lovers
💛Grumpy Sunshine
💙Workplace Romance ( Viggo has opened a bookstore!)
💛ADHD Representation
💙Love & Heartbreak
💛 Dual POV
💙 Type I diabetes rep

There really was no struggle with these characters except within themselves, but maybe that is what they did with each other. Tallulah didn't want the "relationship" because , well she wouldn't let us get close enough to know the back story for this , was it because of her T1 D? Was it a writer thing that she lived in her own head most of the time? I can relate to that myself because fictional characters can't hurt you, and if you just surround yourself with fiction you have less ways to get hurt. Was it trust? I would love to have an interview with Liese on this character because there is so much of Tallulah we didnt get to know, and that is the only reason it isnt a five star rating. I wanted all of her , because she shone so bright.

Viggo was beautiful , and communicated so carefully with her. JUST PERFECT CINNAMON ROLL BOOK BOYFRIEND MATERIAL! He never wanted anyone around him to worry about helping him, he never gave others the opportunity to help him like he did others. No one seemed to know how he stressed over his opening of his bookstore. I know this is where a lot of other readers have stated a disconnect, and wanted to see more Bergman family. But this was a testament to Viggo's personality. He didn't allow others to see his weaknesses, he didnt want his ADHD to be apparent to others as a disability, so he made it small
I loved the slow burn of this couple; his helping with her novel . They just were the perfect couple, he gave her insight she hadn't thought of, and he liked to feel needed. Isnt that the center of love after all?

“I think love is . . . wrapping your arms around every emotion, even the hard ones, even when being numb seems so much safer. Love is hoping, even after disappointment has taught you not to. Love is that bone-deep hum of peace through your body when you’re hugged hard, when you’re listened to well, when you’re not left alone in your sadness. Love is stubborn and persistent, an indomitable weed that springs up in those slivers of soft soil in our concrete-jungle existence."

Congratulations to this series being re- released by Berkley, thank you for having me as a part of this celebration of a beautiful series and for the ARC. I truly hope we get a second generation of Bergman's and we never have to say goodbye to this beautiful family.
They forever will be characters and books I recommend
