A big thank you to NetGalley and Avon/Harper Voyage for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. While the characters happen to be well off=they still have heartache and troubles. The entire Wilde family is extremely likeable. Why aren't there more people like this? The setting seems beautiful. Layla is a well known painter and has come to Wyoming because of a commission. Jax is part owner of the ranch where she stays. They have insta chemistry. They both have issues with trust and opening up but they overcome them. I really liked the book. There is a bit of drama and suspense. I think many romance readers will love this book. 4 stars

This book is a winner!!! Layla is a famous painter who travels to Wyoming for a commission. While there, she stays in a cabin on the Wilde ranch and quickly meets Jax. They are both quickly smitten, but have a few obstacles to overcome. ...from Jax's crazy work schedule, to someone threatening Layla.
I loved the characters - the author made them come to life on the page. I found myself engrossed in their story and invested in their getting a HEA ending. I couldn't put it down and was flipping pages just as quickly as possible to see what happened next.
If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. While part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
