Loved this one so much! The banter between Aiden and Frankie was great and they went together so perfectly. The kidnapping reminded me of the Knockemount Series. I love when a guy falls first and the spice did not disappoint. Even though they were somewhat an opposites attract trope, I felt like they were a perfect match!

Usually, I stick to either reading dark romance or strictly fantasy books... this was decent though. There was romance, LOTS of banter and somewhat tolerable MCs. I absolutely adored the supporting characters like Chip. This was a quick read so maybe I did love it. If you've never read Lucy Score, I'd say start with this one then continue with her other books like the Knockemout series. She is a great author with a variety of tropes in her books.

This was my first time reading a Lucy Score novel, and it did not disappoint. The spice was well distributed without being too much or too little. The plot was well developed and moved forward at a nice pace. There were a few points in the middle of the novel where it slowed down and felt a little like a slog. I did like that the conflict mostly came from an outside influence. I am not a fan of the miscommunication/lack of communication trope, and there was very little of that in this book. The lack of communication that did come up in this book made sense for Aiden's and Frankie's characters; their motivations for keeping things to themselves were clear and understandable. The character development was perfect as well! I'm going to have to read more of Score's work.

4. stars. Lucy score does it again as always. I loved her knockemout series and I knew I was going to love this one too.
Loved Aiden falling first and loved how independent and a bad ass Frankie is. These two just fit together like two peas in a pod. Their banter was great. One thing that was out of left field was the kidnapping but I pushed through.

I could not put this one down! I absolutely loved every second of Frankie and Aiden's relationship! From the start you get hooked with drama and drawn right into the world of Aiden Kilbourn; but, Frankie handles it all, with some amazing attitude. The dynamic between not only Frankie and Aiden, but them with their family and friends was also written so well!

4.5 ⭐️ Lucy Score never disappoints. The characters were lovable from the start. The story was fast paced with funny banter and plenty of romance. Frankie is main character goals.

It wasn’t my favorite Lucy Score, but it’s a good one for her fans. I don’t think I’d recommend to friends who don’t already enjoy Score’s books.
I did have a bit of Deja vu reading this and got about half way before realizing it was a reprint. I like the millionaire romance tripe, some banter was great, and occasionally the humor was funny. I really didn’t like how most of the women were written or some of the generalizations made. Overall I was left feeling meh about the book.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for the eARC.

I really was disappointed with this book. I loved Lucy Scores recent books but this one was a major let down for me. I really hated the characters. Frankie was like a total fish out of water. I have no clue how her and the bride are friends or remind friends with the group of spoiled brat women that the bride calls her brides maids. Aiden is a total ass calling her a stripper before even knowing her. I hate how he was the reason for the groom being kidnapped and it was like no big deal to anyone but Frankie. I hated how for so much of this book it's set around this wedding but yet there's still so much left of the book. This book is just too boring and too long. I ended up dnfing this book at 37%. I don't see myself liking this book even if I push myself any further.

At the wedding of her best friend, Franchesca will be serving as maid of honor. She has deep affection for the bride, her best friend, and the groom. Regarding the remainder of the bridal party, though? They're not very good. Full of life, although without depth. The complete opposite of what Frankie is. Aiden Killbourn, the wealthiest of the rich, is the next one on the list. Despite his wealth, Aiden is an excellent human being. At first, Frankie only has problems perceiving it. As they learn more about each other through their shared struggle to salvage the wedding in which they are both engaged, Frankie and Aiden develop a stronger bond. There is no way Aiden and Frankie are even somewhat similar. Frankie resides in Brooklyn, works full-time, and attends graduate school; Aiden is a wealthy and prosperous businessman from Manhattan. It's as if two very separate realities collide. Being completely authentic at all times was Frankie's best quality, in my opinion. Unfiltered and unyielding, she spoke her mind. Aiden, being a hero in his own right, is powerful enough to deal with her. Their dynamic was really endearing to me. Quite a few times, I couldn't help but laugh. This duo was adorable, hot, and full of fun.
Thank you so much to @netgalley and @lucyscore for this advanced copy for an honest review.
I couldn't help but grin after reading this clever and humorous romance.

The beginning started off with a lot of drama and then the pacing slowed way down. I also didn’t feel attached to any of the characters

In the beginning, I was laughing so hard I was crying. I mean, this book is so funny! And the characters! There were characters I absolutely loved to hate and characters that found themselves in the most outrageous situations, but I could picture it all as if I was there, and I loved every minute of it. There were also characters I loved to love. Not only did I adore both Aiden and Frankie, I loved Aiden’s mom and Frankie’s entire family. Her mom was a riot, and her brothers were not only perfect, protective older brothers, they were also great friends to both Frankie and Aiden. I also loved Pru and Chip. They all had me on the edge of my seat swooning and waiting to see what would happen. Never before have I read a book that was both this funny and this deeply romantic with the perfect amount of angst and tension

Lugy Score can do no wrong in my eyes! I love her writing style and the way she brings a story to life.
Aiden and Frankie had me cracking up and their banter was my favorite! These two can't stand each other but have to deal with one another since he is the best man and she is the maid of honor in their best friends wedding. They are forced to work with one another after the groom is kidnapped the day before the wedding. The way these two go at each other and the sexual tension between them was everything! | absolutely loved Frankie! She might not have come from money but that girl is smart, sassy, and witty! She doesn't take crap from anyone and will put you in your place! Aiden seems like a jerk in the beginning but he is under so much stress with the family business and a crappy family. He really is a sweetheart and I was rooting for him.

I already loved Lucy Score and have read many of her books. This was very uniquely written in 3rd person. I will say that at some points I found this one quite wordy, but the book was entertaining and fun that it didn't really bother me too much. I just wanted to keep reading. The characters were very well built and fit together well even though they are from two different worlds.
A special thank you to Netgalley, Lucy Score, and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for this e-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I already loved Lucy Score and have read several of her books. This was a good romance story, I enjoy the dynamics between the FMC and MMC. The side characters were interesting and each played into the story as a whole. I do not always love the poor girl/billionaire angle but this one kept me interested and felt more believable than similar stories that I have read. The spice was good and I would definitely recommend.

This book was just ok. It took me awhile to get through it. Its wordy. It had fun moments. Not sure how to feel about this 3rd person point of view. It was unique, I’ll say that.

I love Lucy Score's books because they are always such fun to read! Aiden and Frankie are total opposites who are immediately attracted to one another but live very different lives. Not sure how many people live lives like this...I sure don't... but it was entertaining and enjoyable! I never met a Lucy Score book that I couldn't put down!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

I’m writing this review in exchange for the free copy I received from the publisher. I love Lucy Score’s Knockemout series but I had a hard time with this one. I liked Frankie, but the story line wasn’t my favorite. Felt too unrealistic. It also felt very slow and was incredibly hard to get into. Took me a long time to actually finish it.

This book had a slow start but what an awesome novel. I love Lucy Score and her writing style. Aidan and Frankie are an adorable couple from two different types of world that fit in well together. There is nothing like a snarky girl and a man who will do anything for her.
Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this novel.

All the drama of a wedding you love to see as long as it's not your wedding! Best Man is a woman who will not let you get in her way. This book is so much fun!

Another very enjoyable Lucy Score romance. This one had lots of action/thriller moments as well as many romantic sweet moments. I very much enjoyed the witty banter and shenanigans between the main two characters as well as the drama that occurs with the who’s who of this upper crust circle.
