Yes another fantastic by Ms Score. It was nice to have another standalone title. For two characters that barely get along the sparks flew from the start.

I just love Lucy Score! She’s a wizard at a romance. This was entertaining and a good read. I would recommend, along with any other Lucy Score novels!

Such a fun book!
The leads are both fairly antagonistic, which isn't my favorite, but they never go too far with it. They have good chemistry and carry the story well.

The romance and story was interesting and had me hooked, but the attitude towards other woman was crazy! Why was every other female in this book an absolute nightmare?? Anyways, Frankie and Aiden were so great together! Frankie was a fun character, unapologetic, very sassy, and funny.

Lucy Score is back at it again with another super fun and spicy romance book! I appreciate that Score's books consistently have good character development while still maintaining a plot that is interesting, resulting in a book that is hard to put down. I loved the characters of Frankie and Aiden. I thought they were extremely well developed, and both has great character arcs. I appreciate that Frankie understood what was important to her and stood by those things, but also had the ability to grow. The same can be said for Aiden as well. At times it felt the book was a little bit too long, but I honestly couldn't stop reading it so I guess it doesn't matter. Another solid read, and will be obviously looking to read more of her books in the future.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

I loved this book! The characters were so fresh and real. I loved the romance and thought it was such a great romance read. Definitely add this one to your list.

Another wonderful read from the very talented Lucy Score. She again creates in Francesca and Aiden characters that tug at my heart strings. I found myself laughing at their antics on the island. And, being mildly frustrated at Frankie’s stubbornness on their return to New York.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC I was given in exchange for a fair and honest review.

4.5-stars!
The Worst Best Man by Lucy Score was my first read by this author and I loved it. Not sure why I waited so long to read anything by her, but I am so glad I picked this one up. I read and listened to this and it was just so much fun. This was an opposite attract, billionaire bachelor and witty heroine, with great banter, steamy chemistry, and undeniable connection romance. It was fun, a bit angsty and just pulled me in right from the beginning.
Frankie was smart, full of sass, confident, beautiful and had plans. Aiden is confident, charming, sexy, dedicated and the trying to keep his outlandish family in check. He does not want a relationship, but something about Frankie pulls him in. She pulls him in. Despite not wanting to want each other, they do. I absolutely loved watching these two get to know each other, be there for each other and fall. I devoured it and am so excited to read more from this author.
Happy reading/listening!

I received this ebook from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and review. I really loved the dynamic between Frankie and Aiden. Frankie is like a breath of fresh air, and Aiden is more cold. But the two of them together is like magic.

The Worst Best Man by Lucy Score is a romance that packs a punch (literally). Maid of Honor, Franchesca is sassy and takes her duties seriously and will not let any jerky best man or groom kidnapper stand in her way. Aiden is a wealthy businessman who has not met a challenge he cannot shmooze until the smart mouthed Franchesca dances into his life. This story had me laugh out loud several times. Franchesca is such a relatable character and Aiden is well I can't fully describe him without some major spoilers. The friendships in the story are dynamic and heartfelt. Even with a few past mistakes and manipulations they figure out how to overcome and make each other stronger by calling one another on their nonsense as a true friend should. The ending is wonderful and left me wanting more of these characters.
Thank you @Netgalley @BloomBooks and @LucyScore for the ARC.

Frankie and Aiden come from two totally different worlds. His family owns half of Manhattan and she is working and living in Brooklyn. When they are both in the same wedding they don’t really hit it off. From one bad occurrence to the next, it doesn’t seem like they could even be acquaintances. However, it seems as though love had other plans….
In true Lucy Score fashion this book is entertaining, spicy and just all around good. Frankie and Aiden are enduring and the supporting characters bring so much to the story! Loved it!

Spicy fun with a pair of main characters that I don't see often in mainstream contemporary romance. He's a cold hearted NYC society millionaire and she's an MBA candidate who grew up in Brooklyn to deli-owner parents. They don't fight their attraction (the novelty!) but agree to no permanent relationship. Hijinx ensue in a truly hot and fun way. Loved it!

4.5 stars!!
I loved this! The relationship between Aiden and Frankie was 🤌 and 🌶! I really loved Frankie's character even if at times I was saying WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Aiden ...swoon.
The only part I didn't care for was the whole incident at Prus wedding with Elliot. I feel like that could've either been developed better or even left out.
I would definitely read something else by Lucy Score!

i love lucy's books and writing but this one was a little boring and slow paced. overall about 80 pages too long

4 stars because the book was so good (I didn't know it was intended to be a Pride and Prejudice retelling, but I guessed it halfway through because the retelling really hit the mark!!) but I docked a star for the very frequent and very intense body-shaming, misogynistic comments
The MCs relationship and banter were so well done!
TWs - professional sabotage including blackmail
-- ty to the author, the publisher and Netgalley for an advanced copy!

This story started off interesting... I would say in the beginning I thought that everything just happened and there was going to be nothing left for me to read but as I went on I realized that wasn't the case. I was flipping through the pages and before I knew it, I finished the book. I loved this book! I would recommend!!

Thank you Netgalley for an ARC of this book. This book was cute and fast paced. It starts off with the maid of honor Frankie as the maid of honor who dislikes the best man of the wedding, Aiden. They had a bad first impression of one another and have disliked each since. During the wedding, they had to find ways to work together to ensure the wedding runs perfectly for their friends. Aiden and Frank couldn’t be more different and it was such a cute book to read!
What to expect:
Best Man x Maid of Honor
Banter
Billionaire Bachelor
Dislike to like

Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5)
Going into this book, I wasn't sure what to expect as the only books I've read by Lucy Score are her books in the Knockemout series but this book was certainly enjoyable and reminded me of why Lucy is one of my favourite authors! The only thing that makes this a 4.5 rating instead of a 5 is that the story arc in the beginning was my most favourite part of the story as it felt like an exciting adventure but it only took up 1/4 of the book. So the subsequent 3/4 wasn't as interesting as the beginning for me when they returned back to everyday life as I wish they were on the island for the whole story! But other than that, I definitely need to start reading the rest of Lucy's books!
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this advanced reader copy!

Lucy Score has done it again! I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was enemies-to-lovers but it's a twist on enemies/acquittances to lovers.

I strongly feel this book needs a different title - but it is so much better than when I first read it. Last time it was a 4 out of 5 for me because I kept being taken out by a few things that didn't sit right: mostly Frankie's dialogue and Aiden's whole vibe. Frankie was much more likeable this time with her toned-down snark and sass no longer bordering on rude or cringe. I have a hard time reading corporate millionaire MMC because they are so unrealistic with the free time, schedule, hobbies, etc. but the scenes around Aiden's job were more refined and subtile his time around. Went from a 4 to a 5 in my eyes!
