A novel set in the Netherlands, occupied by the Nazis at the end of WWII, this is one of those romance novels that keeps you on your toes throughout its entirety because of the gravity of the situation.

What I really loved was that the story of Cornelia, Gerrit and Johan is based on actual events that happened at the end of the war.

It's a story of overcoming fear and obstacles to do the right thing, hearing and following God's calling, and the strong love forged under the most difficult of circumstances along the way.

This author is an auto-read for me and many of my patrons.
