4/5 stars

I loved the forced proximity and getting to see Gwen and Caleb fall for each other in their safe cocoon. It was so cheerful and felt like I got to be a fly on the wall for all the Christmas activities.

In the middle of the book, it was hard to read and watch Gwen’s life and support systems fall completely apart. Her hitting rock bottom was well written and resolved in a healthy way, which you don’t often see represented in books. Loved that she went to therapy and did art as well to heal. Both she and Caleb had such growth as characters and I loved being able to cheer for them, individually and collectively.

Another favorite part of this book was getting to spend time with the side characters, Alvina and Wayne. Their support and friendship was crucial to the story and felt so genuine. I kind of wished they would’ve gotten together too but love that Alvina was whole and complete on her own.

This book took me by surprise and was a rollercoaster of emotions. I thought it would be a straightforward easy read but it had a lot more depth and meaning. I love that the author is dedicated to spreading awareness for colon cancer and donating a portion of her proceeds to this cause. It definitely hit home for me and any awareness can save lives.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend reading it! The cover art is the cutest and got me excited for this upcoming holiday season.

Thank you to the author and netgalley for this opportunity to review!

I loved this spicy Holiday romance. I absolutely couldn't put it down I read it in one day! I loved the chemistry between Gwen and Caleb, it was intense. I loved that this book had insta-lust, yet also an intense slow burn. The depth of the characters keep the story from being the typical Christmas romance.

I keep going back and forth on this book, It took me quite awhile to get into and actually enjoy the plot. It wasn’t so much that the book was bad or anything it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I did enjoy aspects of the story but I almost felt rushed with the book as there was so much happening in every part that it took me a second to realize. I liked the MCs and I enjoyed Wayne and Alvina (hopefully I spelled that right) but I wasn’t crazy about the random ex fiancé or the supposed best friend. Some of the people had great stories and backgrounds and others just kind of fell flat. But I will say I did enjoy the doctor parts and I enjoyed Lawson actually finding himself and not following in his parents footsteps. Thank you so much for letting me be an ARC!

I was thoroughly impressed with this read. So much so, that I read it in less than 12 hours - I couldn’t put it down! I recommend this read to anyone after a holiday read, a romance read (spicy or sweet) or a read with an angsty male character.

Just when I thought the story was becoming another one of those romance cliches where it just isn’t a real representation of how things go in real life, that was brought into the plot. It was at that point that I really wanted to keep reading. I think the author really thought about the book from both a writer and readers perspective as she wrote. The characters are well rounded, the plot is easy to follow and definitely not flat and the way grief is embedded throughout the novel is beautiful. I think it really sends the message that everyone experiences loss, although people might show it differently, we all go through it. I also really enjoyed the language Dr Melissa Dymond used. She is clearly well educated and I loved reading this book because although it’s a cute and somewhat simple read, the language made it not seem so ‘young adult’.

I read the spicy/open door version and I don’t think it was too over the top. There were spicy scenes, but those scenes weren’t too descriptive - which was refreshing! If spicy isn’t for you, the author created a sweet version, which again… really shows that the author thought of the readers.

I will definitely be reading the second book that is teased after the epilogue. I want to hear more about Gwen and Caleb.

I enjoyed how this book tackled the difficult situation of parental loss and how to move forward into healing. This was a good weekend read as the weather is cooling down; makes you excited for the coming Christmas season. Thank you for the opportunity to read! I would recommend this book, just not to students because of the sec scenes.

This book is so sweet. It’s so beautiful to watch the journey Caleb and Gwen go through. You watch them both deal with the challenges that face them. It’s so fun to watch Caleb fight for Gwen.
It almost seemed too easy to get the paparazzi off their back. And I’m not sure we got the full story needed with Alvina and Wayne. I also would have liked to see another conversation with Gwen and her mom after their big fight.
This Christmas romance is definitely worth a read. It’s a sweet happily ever after with two very lovable protagonists.

I enjoyed this, it’s a sweet happy Christmas time story. I adored little pip I have my very own little one. Gwen reminds me so much of me I couldn’t not love her she’s sweet, loving strong and a hand worker. She definitely forgives easily. Caleb is a movie star but has had his whole life stolen to do what his parents wanted him to do. His story is heartbreaking and you can’t have but love him. Loved all the holidays feels it’s an easy enjoyable book definitely worth the read.

I just finished reading this book on my kindle. It had me worrying, crying and every emotion in between. I absolutely loved the story line. The characters came alive in my mind as I got to know each one. I never wanted to put it down but I had to make myself. I will definitely be reading this again.
