This is an exciting and wild story if you can ride out the weirdness. It's well suited to young readers while older middle graders may find it childish. There are nice nods to fairy tales as well.

I really enjoyed this book. It was different than anything else I've read recently. I couldn't put it down! I will keep an eye out for this author's future work!
