This collection of poems and raps are to be performed alongside movements, as instructed in the material, and will be an excellent classroom activity for younger children.

Not only are they fun and creative, the range of movements ensure physical stimulation and mental engagement for the kids undertaking the exercises.

Since the children are performing the actions together, it is also a good way of building teamwork - while having a great deal of fun at the same time!

The illustrations that appear in the book are very cute, and showcase a degree of diversity that is impressive and highly desirable.

There is a useful set of instructions for teachers and other adults to help them figure out how best to use the material.

My favourite was Quack, Quack, Quack, Moo, and I liked Thumbs Up too. But there are many options to enjoy. And while it is primarily designed for a classroom setting, I think this could be a godsend for parents who have children sitting bored at home - for example, on rainy days!

This is such a great book! This would be wonderful for a pre k or lower grades classroom. You can get your kids to move along with what you read out loud. This would be a great book to have when your kiddo just needs a little wiggle time. The pictures are wonderful and I love how all types of children are in the book!

I wish there were songs available to go along with this book-especially if they were available on Spotify.

I love the short songs and chants that get kids up and moving, while following a rhythm and rhyme. I would definitely recommend a book like this for librarians who do storytime, or substitute teachers who need a 5 minute activity that doesn't require screens. Preschool teachers will love this book!

Teacher Created Materials is a trusted brand for me, so when I saw they were publishing books, I had to check this out. I'm so glad I did!

A huge thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of Connie Bergstein Dow’s Tap and Rap, Move and Groove. This is the perfect rhyming read aloud to motivate little ones to get on their feet. As a pre-k teacher, I’m always looking for literature with engaging illustrations and catchy language. This meets and exceeds my expectations, and it encourages children to use their imaginations. I can’t wait to share this book with my class as soon as it’s published!

This is an fun collection of movement activities for young children. I especially liked the instructions at the end explaining how to lead the dance chants in the book. The words for the chants were good ones and the vibrantly colored illustrations were outstanding and inclusive. This would be an excellent book for those working in any type of daycare, but even parents could have fun moving and grooving with their kids at home.

This was a really fun book to read with my young son. He loved the chants and getting the opportunity to run around. I could see this being a fun book to read with a classroom of young children.
