Cute and cozy read, filled with magical recipes. I enjoyed the art, and the creativity showed in the preparation of the food, and the magical ingredients used.
But I think I would've enjoyed this book a lot more if I knew the original story, or if it had an actual plot along with the recipes.

As much as the drawing was nice and the fact the pace was steady, all it could offer was just the two men cooking the food for the kids. I guess I just wanted more from the characters themselves personally…

The perfect spin-off to the perfect manga series! This is the perfect book to get cozy with during the fall season, and will make you wish even more that you could escape into this world to eat these tasty looking meals—or, who knows, it might even inspire you in the cooking department. Oh and, like the main series, the art style is just as incredible here.
Would recommend to readers who enjoyed Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree.

Atelier of Witch Hat on its own already brims with life. This culinary is just as charming as the main series, giving the reader a glimpse into the life of the two main adults in the manga and their day-to-day lives in a magical cottage. It feels domestic and familiar, like being invited over for lunch with old friends: all the recipes are easy enough to attempt and/or modify, with even some pages at the end clarifying what the more magical ingredients can be swapped with. A magical addition to an already wonderful manga series.

The gorgeous aesthetic of Witch Hat Atelier meets cozy comfort recipes. Each recipe is introduced in a series of wholesome and sweet vignettes and uses in world ingredients, which can of course be substituted for ingredients available in our own world! The recipes are a mix of sweet and savory. With foods that are comforting, healing, and aesthetically pleasing. I want to try all the recipes!

Fun for all ages and the recipes are very accessible. Absolutely recommend for fans of the series!

Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen follows the main characters from Witch Hat Atelier in a series of vignettes. Each vignette features a recipe that the characters make together, and at the end of the vignette, you actually get to see the real recipe so you can try it by yourself! I was super interested in all the dessert type recipes, especially the apple roses.

As always, I absolutely love the artwork in Witch Hat Atelier! It is so whimsical, and the main girls are super adorable! Because this is featuring food, I bet the food would look even better if it had been done in color, but I know with time constraints and budget, that can't happen. You can still tell the artist put so much effort into each and every panel based on the intricate details!

I loved reading these little cooking vignettes, but not much happened. I am more excited to read the next installment in the actual series, but this was a good way to hold me over in the meantime.

2 magicians and their 4 apprentices go on their day-to-day lives and cook foods with whatever is available for them around their area. The recipes are all pretty much comfort foods and easy to follow and even those who usually don't cook can replicate them. The atmosphere is cozy and the art is beautifully done, I would recommend this to middle schoolers and those who are just getting into cooking and needs a book with recipes and plot to accommodate it.
