Harlequin Trade Publishing, Canary Street Press and NetGalley provided an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed here are solely my own.

This book had me at “Ouch, we’re all going to the same place, buddy!” The main characters, Lanie and Ridley , are the newest additions to my book bae hall of fame. They are good, complex, and flawed people. Their complexities and flaws made the conflicts in the book believable, and their goodness kept me rooting for them the whole way through. All of the characters, both main and supporting, were well developed.

This was my first book from this author, but I am positive it won’t be my last.

3.5 stars. Noué Kirwan’s Frequent Fliers was a good read. In the beginning, I found myself on edge about Lanie, she appeared to see herself as “better” and “more deserving” of Jonah than her cousin Gemma. As the book progressed, some of that was lost and Lanie became infinitely more likable. As a romance book, I wish we had spent more time on developing the romance between Lanie and Ridley, rather than them being side characters in each other’s separate stories. I did enjoy this book, and finished it in one sitting. Overall, would recommend.

I liked Noué Kirwan's debut, LONG PAST SUMMER, so i was really excited to see she had a new one coming out! I appreciated the pacing of this novel a lot, as well as small details (family couldn't fly bc the kids had ear infections--TOO REAL). I think this could have easily been done as a second chance romance and i would have hated it--i love how directly opposite from that it was. The characters were great and i just enjoyed this overall.

Frequent Flyers was a romantic romance novel. Lanie lived in New York and was traveling from New York to the UK to plan her cousin Gem's wedding to Josh. Ridley was a doctor who was flying from New York to the UK. He was in New York to work on a project, but he lived in the UK. They met on the plane. They traveled back and forth together several times. And so their relationship began.

Josh was Lanie's ex, for whom she still had feelings. But Josh no longer had feelings for her; he was besotted by Gem. Lanie decided She would put her feelings for Josh aside and give them the wedding they deserved.

Ridley had a 15-year-old daughter, Beatrix. He was a widower. When Bea met Lanie Bea thought she was really cool, but she thought that she and her father were just friends. When she realized they were more than that, she didn't take it very well at first. Bea had spent the night with a friend, and when she came home she found Lanie and her dad in a compromising situation. She was startled and fled the scene. Ridley didn't know what to do so he called an Uber for Lanie, and she felt as though he were putting her out like trash.

Their relationship, though a tad bit rocky, had developed nicely until the incident. So it was up to Ridley to make it right.

I thought the author didn't excellent job traversing through this tumultuous relationship. The characters were well developed and the storyline was easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable romance. I gave it five stars.

I thought this was a decent romance. Both characters were really fleshed out but I wasn't initially sold on their chemistry.

Lanie only feels like herself when she's in England on her annual vacation. Lanie's cousin is engaged to Jonah- Lanie's crush. Lanie becomes a frequent flier from NYC to London to help with the wedding plans. She meets Dr. Ridley Aronsen, another frequent flier for work... Will she move on?

I love Lanie and Ridley together. Not sure about her cousin or Jonah. They seem kind of toxic. I love the happy ending though.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

such a cute story. i loved lanie instantly and ridley was such a cutie, even if he was standoffish at first. slow burns are my favorite kind of romance, the suspense makes the reward even greater and i can never get enough of them so it's not surprise that i loved this one really.

Frequest Fliers was really great! I love the representation it had and I also really enjoyed how much of a strong relationship they had despite being tried with obstacles along the way. I cannot wait to pick up a physical copy to add to my collection when it is released next year!

Thank you so much go NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book! While I enjoyed certain aspects of this book, I must say I found myself getting distracted at times. Still, I overall enjoyed the romance and characters! it

“Her life is up in the air - literally” is the perfect way to put it.

This book was a slow-burn, and definitely felt like it dragged on at times, while nothing and everything was happening at the same time. The title felt a bit misleading - I expected more light and fluffy travel time... airport time, flight time, exploration time, and while there were hints of that, the story focused more on the separate lives of Lanie and Ridley.

I developed a love-hate relationship with Lanie throughout the book. Her family and friends seem like they just pity her, but she seems to be a bit of a pushover for them. She would bend over backwards for her EXTREMELY toxic cousin, Gemma, and her long-time childhood crush, Jonah, and in turn, they would completely bash on her, yell at her and take advantage of her. Yet she would forgive them instantly, and continuously fly from NYC to London to basically put their wedding together because they couldn’t be bothered by doing it themselves. But when it comes to Ridley, the widower single-father who’s top priority is his daughter, Lanie throws temper tantrums for not coming first in his life, she communicates horribly, she acts like a lovesick teenager and she expects him to go above and beyond for her - including neglecting his teenage daughter who is still mourning the loss of her mother. Don’t get me wrong, Lanie would have moments where she would redeem herself, but overall, she felt like a very sad character.

Although the ending may seem to be unrealistic, I enjoyed that the story ended on a happy note. We are taught that love knows no boundaries and to never give up hope, for whatever is meant to be will be.

Thank you, NetGalley and Kirwan for the ARC copy for my honest review.

So grateful to have the opportunity to read such a sweet novel! I loved how the relationship between Lanie and Ridley was so layered and not entirely covered in rose colored lenses like so much of the genre is. The wedding plot was full of drama, as it should be! I love to see Black Love so well written.

I had difficulty downloading this title, but I'm glad I was able to. This was a fun read. A bit of spice, but not too much. The story was a bit predictable, as many romance novels are. I would recommend this book to my girl friends.

Thank you so much to @netgalley for the chance to review Frequent Fliers by Noué Kirwan. Lanie meets pompous Dr. Ridley on an international flight. Maybe he’s not all bad, though… they became friends and enjoyed meeting up when the other visited. Lanie has to be the cheerful maid of honor when her cousin is planning a wedding to Lanie’s ex-boyfriend. Sweet and a bit spicy, this book was a perfect beach read!

A cute but predictable romance novel with great representation of a variety of cultural backgrounds.

Lanie is not lucky in love. She lives in New York City but is flying back and forth to the UK so she can be best mate to her cousin Gemma who is marrying Lanie’s best friend, Jonah, whom she thought she would be marrying. Her frequent flights find her on the same plane as Dr. Ridley Aronsen who is working on medical research. His wife died over three years ago leaving him with joint custody of his wife’s daughter, Bea, and her ex-husband, Gavin. I really liked this book. It was fun seeing Ridley and Lanie develop a strong, loving relationship that was often tested. She had many in her family telling her that she was not enough for Ridley and her insecurities caused a lot of problems for them. Ridley was not accustomed to falling in love again, so things were not easy for him either. I liked Bea’s insecurities and strengths as she struggled with seeing Ridley with a girlfriend. The times Lanie and Ridley were together enjoying each other with fun things to do added a lot to the story. Great book about holding out hope and trying to make things work.
