Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy of this book.

I don't think the writing style in this book was for me. I don't think I connected with the characters as much as I do in first person books.

Overall I struggled to stay interested in the story and would have DNF'd if I hadn't received an ARC copy.

The authors’ dynamic writing style and well-developed characters create a story brimming with intensity and allure. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll, da ich es aufgrund relativ kurzer Ausleihdauer (ohne Verlängerung) nicht lesen konnte.

Kitchen Heat was an adorable book that reminded me of the movie No Reservations, but if the main character was happy rather than her gruff self. This was a cute friend to lovers story that made me laugh, giggle, and blush!

This was a cute rom com. I really enjoyed this. This follows Kassi who is a film producer and isn’t doing well. She gets a job at a restaurant and meet a chef named Clay. He’s cute and she likes him, but with her failed relationship and marriage she decides to star him in the film she’s writing about a chef and waitress who fall for each other. No sooner Kassi’s movie becomes her reality.

I am fan of reading books with children like single parent trope is my favorite because they have children with such a great personality that one can help but want the kid to be happy with their parent + said parent love interest.
The story is such a sweet one and i loved everyone i was suppose to love.

Well I must say I am not a full on romance reader but was taken in by the title 'Kitchen Heat - A Restaurantland Romance' and I wasn't disappointed.

Welcome to the Rose and Thorn restaurant where steamy romance is always on the menu. What is not to like about that. What a fun book and an easy book to read. I love the setting and the characters who brought so much life to this story, the pace of the read is perfect, the them is fun and it makes you smile.

This is going to be a fun series to read and I look forward to seeing what happens next at the Rose and Thorn Restaurant!

First and foremost, of you're a 90's baby, you're gonna love this one! Secondly, it's formatted like a screenplay which is interesting and unlike anything I've read before. The chemistry between our two main characters is unbelievable and the storyline sucks you right in. This was a fun, fast paced, humorous rom-com style story that touches on serious life situations. I enjoyed Kitchen Heat so much and cant wait for more!

For those who have ever complained about the quality of food or service in a restaurant, this is a cautionary tale. After reading Kitchen Heat, I swear I’ll never disparage cooks, bartenders, or wait staff again! I was floored by the revelations at the Rose and Thorn restaurant, the iconic fictional setting for much of the novel’s action. So much drama, so much sexual tension…who knew? I enjoyed this so much!! Kassi is such a good character, and I was rooting for her from the very beginning. I also loved Clay, and his surly attitude. I really liked how everything was set mostly in the restaurant behind the scenes, there’s so much to the dynamic of a restaurant family, and it was fun to watch how even the side characters changed over time.

I enjoyed it as a romance book and had a fun time reading it but the characters weren’t my favourite of the many romance books I’ve read with similair tropes so unlikely to reread it.

I really did not enjoy this book. It was weirdly written, strange at times. This book lost any form of heart in the process.

Such a great book!

Kassi is a single mom with a degree that is not very useful to her. Until she enters a contest whose winner will win a movie. Yes, if she writes a very good script, she'll get her name known in the industry and, finally, have money to pay not only the bills but her divorce. But until that comes true, she has to be a waitress to support her daughter.

Clay is a divorced chef. His ex wife cheated on him and he is messed up in every single way, or at least that is what he thinks. But the new waitress is helping him to see things in other way. Can he fall in love with her? Because he knows that he can't go through what happened to his ex one more time.

If you want to know how they deal with the obstacles appearing on their relationship... read this book.
