Pros: I often wish I had majored in art history, so I seek out books like this so I can expand my knowledge of the subject. I appreciate books like this that feature artists who have been overlooked in favor of white European men. I especially enjoyed the interviews with artists in this book and loved the diversity of artists featured. The reproductions of the art are stunning.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that as wonderful as this book looks as an arc on my phone, I am sure that reading experience doesn't compare to reading a physical printed copy of this book.

Beautifully illustrated and highly informative, I wanted to "love this book" more than I, ultimately, did. Still, it was filled with information and the artist interviews were insightful and enjoyable. I think many readers, though, will really enjoy this lovely book and giving voice to women artists is always important. 4 Stars
