Today is Friday the 13th. I feel that it’s an appropriate date to review this book. Lol.

This was a coloring book with drawings of various styles that showcased a Gothic aesthetics. I enjoyed all the illustrations very much. There were witches, skeletons, skulls, crows, monsters and many more. I especially liked the several creatures with 3 eyes. Highly recommended for fans of adult coloring books!

A great coloring book. Perfect for those who love the dark and the macabre. It has a nice balance of "goth", "traditional gothic" (especially the architecture!) and moody pages. I will definitely be purchasing a copy for myself - the art is high quality and looks like it would be fun to color! I do wish the art style was a little more consistent throughout, but I love the patterns on the back of the pages.

If you are looking for a coloring book that is spooky and gothic this is a good place to start. I enjoyed the repeating patterns and a few single skulls better than the majority of the coloring book. It worked well for the spooky season but it won’t be a coloring book I gravitate to often.

This is a really fun coloring book with lots of gothic-themed pages. You can find witches, skeletons, and more inside this beautifully designed coloring book!

I was very excited to receive this book. I love a good coloring book. I was disappointed by the art work. I didn't expect it to be so satanic.

This was perfect for spooky season. I loaded the book into the iPad was able to colour digitally.

I'm a huge fan of adult colouring books and of course a gothic one is even more favourable so after seeing the absolutely stunning illustrations in this I immediately need a physical copy I can colour my daughter has a habit of borrowing mine so I'll most likely have to pick up A few ,would also make fantastic addition to boo baskets

The book description mentions 120 colouring pages, half of them are actually repeated patterns. I am nor sure if that is the case for the ARC copy only. I also would have liked for it to include a better introduction to the origins of Gothic, as it is not very accurate or particularly well written. Whereas I understand the aim of the book is colouring, it feels like a missed opportunity.,

That being said, the illustrations are varied and alternate between styles (mostly inked illustration) . The details also vary between them, so whether you are looking for something really intricate that will take some time or a shorter experience, the book caters for all.

I am not sure I would go for this book as I have seen similar motifs repeatedly used in illustrative tattoo artwork (so not very original) and are actually witchy more than gothic. I will however give it 3 stars because the illustrations are nice regardless

Beautiful & spooky with high quality images and a great mix of quick and simple illustrations, to more intricate and complicated patterns.

Gothic Colouring has a range of beautiful high quality images available for colouring that fit the 'gothic' aesthetic perfectly. They contain a lot of stereotypical imagery (witches, skulls, skeletons, bats, witches, moths, classic hearts and vintage style florals in a variety of styles, such as cartoon, classic tattoo and sketched. Additionally, there are pages with repeating patterns, which would be really helpful for mindfulness colouring or unwinding.
