All time fave. Beautifully and carefully written plot plus soundly crafted well rounded characters? This author has won my heart!

Blake has rules. Only three clients at a time. No overnights. No real feelings. All of this goes out the window when she meets Ramses.

This was definitely an interesting read! Blake was a good FMC. She was strong and sensual. I really liked seeing her journey towards finding a real long-term love. Ramses was also strong and I enjoyed him. This book was all about the spice. If you are looking for a quick and adventurous spice, this is the book for you!

This new edition contains amazing drawings to really get into Blake and Ramses's story.

Thank you to the author and publisher for the gifted copy.

I read a digital ARC of the paperback book - which was a little different and had some minor formatting issues because of the different formats. However, that did not detract from the book itself - but I wanted to be open about how I read the book (because my version is a little different).

This is a fast paced dark romance where the characters help each other heal their trauma - but in the most unconventional way. Spicy in the most perfect ways - with our dark billionaire falling first for the smart escort who has a secret insider trading scheme. Great banter!

I really wished for more illustrations in this book but the illustrations were gorgeous as they always are in a Sophie Lark book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Sophie Lark, and Sourcebooks/Bloom Books for an ARC of this book!

This book was everything I hoped it would be. From the moment I read the blurb, I knew it would be a fantastic read, and it truly was.

It almost felt cinematic. I don't know how else to describe it. Reminds me a little of 90s movies. The inclusion of artworks between the pages and the scattered songs added to this unique atmosphere, really enhancing the experience.

The characters were well-developed, and despite falling into some clichés, they felt like real people. Their connection, both physical and emotional, is palpable through the pages.

I appreciated the well-written discussions about mental health, past traumas, and grief, as well as the theme of healing, which I think the author handled exceptionally well.

This book pushes the boundaries of conventional romance, which I found refreshing and makes it extra special.

There's only one reason why this book is not rated higher: Pet play. I must admit that while pet roleplaying isn't my cup of tea, the way it was portrayed in this book was done so well that it didn't detract from it as much as I thought it would.

This book leaves a lasting message, which I deeply respect and value.

Sexy, thoughtful, well-researched, fun, and heartbreaking, I'm happy I decided to pick it up. While it may not be for everyone, if it resonates with you, I'm certain you'll have a fantastic time reading it.

Fingers crossed for a book about Brigs and Sadie in the future!

I have read quite a few of Sophie Lark's books and this one proves to be the most interesting so far! Blake is a high end escort and was on a date with a wealthy gentlemen when Ramses (a billionaire) sees her. Instantly he wants her regardless of her being an escort. When she agrees to take him on as a client, after some coaxing, things become very exciting for the two of them! Minx is created, a pet name for Blake when she dons the cat suit Ramses likes her in. While they enjoy being together this way, feelings develop and Blake decides maybe she should hang up the escort lifestyle and let Ramses have her all to himself!

I wasn't sure when I started reading this book what Minx was about but I sure found out. A spicy story featuring furry play, but a sweet love story with a man who knows what who he likes and goes after her! Would recommend!

Thanks to NetGalley, Sophie Lark, and Sourcebooks Bloom books for allowing me to review this ARC!

This book was so different than what I’m used to reading, but it did not disappoint in any way! I loved the escort x client dynamic and the progress of their relationship. The roleplay was another thing I never expected to thoroughly enjoy, but man did it hit!

5 stars!
Sophie lark is one of my favorite authors so of course I picked up this book quickly. Minx is everything I thought it would be and more! I am not a big fan of pet play but this book may have changed my mind. I love how their relationship is escort/client but their relationship was not at all shallow. 100% recommend this book.

I have not read any Sophie Lark books before. Story was steamy but not the most realistic. I wanted to like it more but found I just could not get engaged in the narrative.

Thank you to the Publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Each time I think Sophie Lark can't surprise me anymore with her books, she changes my mind. Minx was unexpected and amazing, and you're just going to have to read it to see what I'm talking about!

Ramses is a self made billionaire who always gets exactly what he wants. From the time he sets eyes on Blake, he decides that he wants her. Blake is a girlfriend for hire, but she costs more than most can afford. A millionaire in her own right, she has a waiting list for her services and is in high demand for one of her coveted three spots. Ramses never waits for what he wants, and what starts out as a game to them both quickly spirals into something neither saw coming.

Trust me, you don't want to miss this one. The chemistry is crazy, and the push and pull of these two characters together is everything!

Thanks to Bloom Books for providing me with an ARC of this book.

This book was so good. It is very character driven and not plot driven so that may throw some people off but I enjoyed it. I’m honestly did not want it to end.

I loved Blake and Ramses. I think they were incredible characters. They were strong on their own and even better when they came together. I loved how vulnerable they were with one other despite how hard they tried not to be.

I loved the illustrations. I thought that was such a good touch to the book. The spice was amazing like oh my god. 🥵

Ramses and Blake have such gripping tension and unhinged behavior patterns that make this book hard to put down. Despite the many sexy, well written spicy chapters the overall plot in the book was rather lacking. And Ramses didn't seem to understand Blake's inner drive to want to make and earn her own money not rely on him or share his wealth.

This book put the “good” in good girl! 🔥🔥

Ramses is a billionaire who has it all until he meets Blake, an escort with a waiting list. Together they cross boundaries and break rules they never thought they would.

I absolutely loved Blake And Ramses! I loved the together and loved them separately. They were both such strong characters. I loved how they also showed times when they were vulnerable. This book has a lot of spice, but the story was even better! I love Sophie Lark’s books, so it was no substitute when this hot little number didn’t disappoint!

Holy fires of SMUT! Minx had me taking some huge gulps of ice-cold water because WOW. Sophie never disappoints with her carefully crafted characters who are larger than life and grab you by the heartstrings. The chemistry between Ramses and Blake is EXPLOSIVE.

Ramses is a definite Alpha-hole through and through and watching him try to win over the cool. confident, elusive Blake was extremely satisfying. To say he met his match was an understatement as Blake constantly keeps him on his toes and wanting to drop his guard down more and more.

Their connection and the emotional baggage of the past had me silently cheering them on from my little corner of the world.

Sophie's writing is a shining example of how SMUTTY books can be jam-packed with heat, but not be overpowered by the emotional needs of the character or sacrifice plotlines or worldbuilding in any way.

I am a Sophie STAN through and through!

"Power is doing whatever you want and nobody dares to tell you no. Pleasure is looking a powerful man in the face and telling him to f*ck off".

This book was delicious, it was spicy 🥵 and it was all the things that I love about Sophie Lark’s books. Take the ✨….take all the chili 🌶️’s haha….This book slapped you right in the face with incredible character chemistry, delicious banter, spice and left you LOVING Ramses and Blake. This book will leave you purrrrrrrrrring for more. Def one for the TBR if the tropes tickle your fancy wink.

I enjoyed Minx. It had unique and interesting characters and well written spicy scenes. The illustrations also added a unique touch to the reading experience which I wasn't really expecting. I thought Blake was a really interesting character, but I found Ramses a little bit two dimensional.

My major criticism is, nothing happened. There was very little in regards to plot, there was not really an end goal, or overarching threat or villain, it was just, characters and vibes the whole way through. These characters and vibes were enjoyable, but I would have found a bit more comfort in my reading experience with something happening.

Overall, an enjoyable read (3.75 stars) thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for giving me the opportunity read this book in exchange for an honest review, these thoughts are all my own.

This one is for the neurodivergent women in the world.

But holy shit this book.
I felt seen. I felt recognized. I have read sentences that gave words to so many conflicted feelings that go round and round in my brain. The ‘why am I like this?’ Most of all.

I bawled my eyes out.

Also the spice is hot. Very hot.
I loved this. I've never read pet play before this one and it really struck a chord within me.

Thank you Sophie for writing this for the incredible neurodivergent representation.
I can't wait to read more books written by Sophie.

I love Sophie’s mafia books but this one just wasn’t for me. I was intrigued by the BDSM aspect but I just couldn’t connect with the characters. This was just an okay read for me but I won’t be buying a physical copy like I have with all of her other books. Again, this was an okay story but it wasn’t for me.

I have such a mixture of feelings about this book…

I hated it and liked it as well.

Ramses and Blake.
The moment he sees her he falls for her. She has that strong woman energy, smart, calculated that attracts Ramses because he is the same. Blake wanted him for so long and finally he fell in her trap (she fell too but doesn’t know about it at the beginning).

I liked their relationship through the book. They found each other, they are the same and so different. He takes care of her like no one ever did and she calms his always calculated brain. The care and love they have to each other is a dream.

However, I didn’t like that Blake was so smart and stuck to her rules, that she brakes them so soon. Gave me a weird impression of her. If she was that strong and smart as she was described in this book, she wouldn’t act with Ramses the way she did at the beginning.

Also I had a huge ick with that kitty role play. And then, in the end of the book, we have Ramses in a sub cat role play. Big big ick!!!
That is the main reason I gave this book a 3 star rating. Another reason for my rating was how invested in the story I was… which I wasn’t at all. Took me many days to finish it and I wasn’t interested in the story.

Thank you #NetGalley for an eARC of this book.

I can always count on Sophie Lark to have the best spice with an interesting plot! Ramses groveling?! Top tier 😍 not only was it funny but it was hot af

Sophie Lark doesn’t miss when it comes to billionaire/millionaire romances. The publishing of Minx through BloomBooks is wildly exciting, but readers should be more excited for Ramses and Blake. These two self made individuals embodying the NYC rags to riches story, confirm why we all hate on finance bros, but love us a financial man. Ramses and Blake are absolute artists at market manipulation. And their physical connection and emotional connection is 🥵. One of the spiciest books I’ve read.

Love the portraits throughout the book bringing the characters to life.

A must read if you love Pretty Woman, but with a twist if Vivian was already a high class escort who ran circles around Wall Street.
