I read this one with my son. It was the perfect reading level for him (he’s 8) and we read it right after the first one in the series. We loved the idea of creating a business and he wanted to design his own. The characters are fun and relatable. I am excited to get more books in the series for my boys and my students.
The students at The Curiosity Academy want to start a community garden but it takes money. Rohan has an idea for a pet-sitting business, The only problem: Rohan is uncomfortable around animals due to some bad experiences. He really thinks that this is a good plan and he's willing to take home the class guinea pig, Honey, to prove that he's both responsible and capable. Things get off to a rough start, but Rohan eventually learns to face his fears and that maybe his great idea and plan could be tweaked. This is a solid entry in this series, The Kids in Mrs. Z's Class, but it could be read as a stand alone.
I was excited for this series. I like that each character’s story is written by a different author. Best way to get a variety of personalities. Rohan brings an interesting story. He is a thinker and doer. Great addition.
An excellent companion book that continues the promise of The Kids in Mrs. Z's class series. This one focuses on Rohan, who seeks to start a pet-sitting and pet-walking business, despite fearing most animals. With the support of his friends and families, he finds a business idea that suit his strengths more.
