I thought this was really well written and I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I think it will find readers at our library, so we will definitely be purchasing for the collection.

I needed something that wasn't mansplaining to me and this was perfect. Loved the breakdowns and information. I feel more prepared moving forward with some of the changes I want to make!

If you've read the author's previous book, then you'll be familiar with the tone and quick, short chapters that are the entirety of the book. This one is a step up from the last because it narrows focus, which made it a more interesting addition to me because the last book, I quickly skimmed through looking for new, original advice, which I came to realize, is hard to find in the tired topic of personal finance. The only way to bring something new to the genre is to take a new perspective, which this book does by listing out advice for women who want to get rich, but in a way that honors their personal values and principles. If anyone is new to impact investing, and identifies as someone who is a victim of the gender pay gap, then this book is for you. Chock full of advice and stories, this book makes it easy for anyone to begin mindful investing.

I found this to be a great guide for many different options regarding impact investing. It would be good to have a starting knowledge of investments (or as suggested by the authors to read their first book), and then this is an easily understood guide. It covers what impact investing is, common dilemmas, following your inner values, investing basics, mainstream options and beyond, strategies for impact investing, and non-investing ways to be a changemaker.
There's a glossary at the end, but the book was full of explanations and ideas, and while it gives a lot to think about, I found it helpful as it laid out steps in order. I recommend this for individuals interested in doing something more with money than just investing in the stock market.

"Girls Just Wanna Have Impact Funds" was such an informative resource that talks about the importance of impact investing and mobilizing the financial power of women. The content flowed well from section to section and was written in a way that was impactful and easy to understand. This book is a fantastic resource for women in business or women who want to be a leaders in business or their communities.

This book is designed to empower the minorities in society (women and non-binary persons) but I found the content to be appropriate for anyone who wants to learn more about how to better the world - done through impact investing. It focuses primarily on the various frameworks used to evaluate the effects of impact investing, the strategies for impact investing, and the ways readers can start impact investing themselves.

What I liked most was that the authors included multiple real-life case studies throughout that are modern and relevant. These talked about how various well-known companies faced various ethical dilemmas, how they chose to act, and what the end-results were. Having these case studies makes it easy for readers to understand the effects of what impact investing can have on the business, the people, and the environment.

Although it touches on minor investing and financial terminology, this isn't an introduction to investing. If you're looking for that, start with their other book: "Girls Just Wanna Have Funds - a Feminist's Guide to Investing".

Overall, I thought it was a fantastic book and would definitely recommend it for everyone to read.
