A nice story which could be read during Christmas time, or any time of year. It has. a wonderful message of faith, community, sharing and discipleship. It would be best for younger children. parts of the story seem a little abrupt, I'd love for it to be elaborated on, or even broken into a series.
I look forward to reading to my son for Christmas' in the future.
Beautiful, classic artwork ,reminds me of Norman Rockwell.
With all sorts of goodness, this is an adventure to enjoy with the entire family during the Holidays.
This read does have a Christian twist (obviously), and it does it while presenting an interesting story along the way. There are more than a few lessons along the way, ones which encourage and guide without growing overly preachy. The characters come across with a lovely naturalness, which invites in and brings a sense of familiarity, while the problems faced do pack just the right amount of tension.
This one is great to snuggle up with and enjoy as a before-bedtime-read and will have readers Winter dreaming as well.
Wonderful! A Christmas story to read as a family…just grab some hot chocolate, marshmallows, a cozy blanket and snuggle in. The snowy mountains make a picturesque backdrop for the boys and their risky adventure to bring back a Christmas tree and the miracles that saved a Christmas. Enjoy this new take on loving your neighbor and bringing hope ❤️
Between 4-5 stars, rounding up. Nice story combined with nice illustrations, would make a very nice faith based Christmas present for young readers.
I’m a Godparent for a 5 and 7 year old (and their parents don’t take them to church). In my opinion this is a perfect gift for them … and I plan to purchase a copy. It is perfect and shows the love between communities and brings faith into the story without being “too preachy”. It is a nice balance.
Thank you to NetGalley and Walnut Ridge Publishing for approving my request to read the “advance read copy” of The Seed of Faith: A Christmas Miracle. (Even though it was first published Oct 2021.)
