this was not my favorite. it was slow and although I ended up liking the ending it was difficult for me to want to pick it up.
Fun loving Christmas book that I listened to in the middle of the summer. This was cute and fun and I throughly enjoyed it.
Another cute holiday romcom that was just what I needed! I listened to the audiobook format and it had me both laughing and smiling while I was wrapping gifts.
*many thanks to Dreamscape and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review.
I miss Christmas already, okay?? Mind your business.
This was soooo cute!! Definitely closer to a 3.5, but rounding up since I had a lot of fun with it. Cheesy in all the right ways, full of holiday cheer, and hilarious, all with characters you really want to root for. Also, the audio was great and brought the characters and story to life in such a dynamic way so I definitely recommend that route if you choose to pick this up.
I will say, I typically don't like "clean" romances because well.. 1. I like smut (duh), and 2. "clean" romance is usually written in such a Hallmark-type way that usually annoys me and leaves me feeling unconnected. This, however, was indeed "clean", but was written in a modern and fresh way. It kept me laughing and invested the whole time and never became overly cheesy or unrealistic. So so good.
I highly recommend this one whenever you want to get started on holiday reads this year. Or honestly just whenever you want a good low-risk romance. It was such a blast!
Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Select for an advanced audio copy. All thoughts and opinions are, as always, my very own.
Eve came home to find her boyfriend with another woman sending her into an emotional spiral. All the gifts she had bought and wrapped for his family, went out the window....quite literally. Eve went to the jewelers where she works and was given a task with her coworker, to deliver 5 gold rings to their customers before Christmas. Throughout the delivery process she spends a lot of time with her co-worker which helped get her through Christmas.
I found this to be a super cute Christmas read and I thought this was a great book. It was very well written and I really like the characters in the book. It had cute storyline and I found the book hilarious, I definitely laughed out loud in a few spots.
I would recommend this if you're looking for a great holiday read.
Thanks to netgalley and Dreamscape Select for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

One Christmas Eve, Eve discovers that her boyfriend is cheating and the Christmas present was an engagement ring from the jewelry story she works at. When she goes to the store, her employers task her and Joe with fixing an error - five gold rings have been sent to the wrong addresses. Eve is tipsy, and Joe is dressed as an elf, but can the two save Christmas?
I thought this was so fun! Very ridiculous, but fun! The audiobook was good.
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
What a cute book! I absolutely loved this! It was so lovely and the perfect romance for the holiday season. I loved Eve so much, and Joe. The book tugged on all my heartstrings. It was so perfect. Funny, sweet, and heartwarming!
What a lovely, beautiful and charming book!
Thoroughly enjoyed the backstory and connection between the characters - SPECIAL shout out to the jewellery shop owners the little loves.
This was a first time read for me by this author and I absolutely loved it! Filled with lots of fun and humor, the book kept me smiling and laughing all the way through. Eve's Christmas gets off to a horrible start after she catches her boyfriend cheating on her. She decides to cleanse her house of all the gifts she bought for him and his family and in the process comes across his gift to her, a ring bought at the very jewelry store she works at. She finds out a certain delivery of five gold rings meant for weddings and proposals were sent to the wrong address and she ends up going on a madcap adventure with her co-worker Joe (who is secretly in love with her) to retrieve those rings.
The story was heartwarming and filled with laughs and generally just gave me a warm and fuzzy vibe. I listened to this as an audiobook and really enjoyed the narration. Filled with mix-ups and mishaps that will definitely get you in the holiday spirit! Really fun story!
My thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Select, Storm Publishing for providing a complimentary copy. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

Ugh! I wanted to like Kristen Bailey's Five Gold Rings, and it turned out to be that it was not my vibe.
Five Gold Rings has a cute premise and seemed like it would have been a fun time, Though, for me, it turned out to be a struggle due to the characters not being fleshed out. I did not feel any connection between Joe and Eve. This book is marketed to be hilarious, and I'll admit there were some funny moments, but then some of it fell flat.
This was such a cute story! I loved Eve and Joe's budding relationship. I loved the jeweler's owners interfering to help them find each other. Such a sweet story that was full of cheer and holiday sprit. The narrator was great.
I really enjoyed this audiobook! I am such a fan of British accents with audiobook narration, so that made me like it even more. This was such a fun road trip, friends to lovers romance. I laughed out loud so much, and loved all the characters I met along the way.
This was such a cute holiday read. I loved the relationship of the MCs and their banter. It was a perfect book for a cozy winter night.
Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.
This was a cute little holiday read. A bit predictable at times but still sweet. The narrator did a good job as well.
The characters - Eve specifically - were annoying and dense. The plot was basic and transparent, and the climax was just boring. I think if I had to describe the book in one word, it would be "predictable."
My new favorite tradition is listening to holiday audiobooks when I do my holiday prep! This one was such a fun one to accompany me through the holiday chaos.
This story had a fun premise and cute characters. Just by reading the synopsis I knew that the main characters were set up to fall in love, but I felt like I spent a large portion of the book just waiting for it to happen. It felt a little boring at times because of the slower nature.
I didn't really like Eve and I felt like her feelings jumped around too quickly. It didn't feel like she fully processed her breakup before jumping to 100% in love with Joe. I also did not enjoy the writing as some parts felt more YA than Adult (ex. the 'giggling' constantly).
However I did enjoy that the plot was unique and it was definitely fun at times.
Overall, I wish I enjoyed this one more than I did. It was just okay for me.
To be fair I only had the audiobook for this one thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Select but with one narrator the dual POVs were hard to keep straight! I had put this one on my DNF pile which I don't normally do with copies I get from NetGalley because it was so hard for me to keep track of which character’s POV I was listening to. I wish there were two narrators for this one.

Having loved ‘Sex Ed’ I was so excited to get a chance to see another new book by Kristen Bailey on NetGalley. So of course I instantly requested it and was not disappointed!
Eve loves the holidays so she was excited to celebrate with the love of her life. However, this changed when she found said ‘love’, and another woman, in a compromising position in the shower. Needless to say Eve changed her plans.
After ridding herself of said boyfriend, his belongings, including the wrapped gifts, Eve sought out the support of her caring employers Mr. & Mrs. Caspar. Not only do the Caspars own a jewelry store but they also fancy themselves matchmakers. Enter Joe. Joe has been in love with Eve for a long time. So when the Caspars send the two on an excursion to deliver 5 Gold rings, Joe gets his chance to spend time with his crush.
This was such an enjoyable audiobook. Kristen Bailey creates such interesting and lovable characters. They are witty, sweet, and fun. I found myself laughing out loud and was engaged throughout. The adventures they went on were unique and provided even more fun characters, adding to the overall enjoyment of the book. The narration by Harrie Dobbie was so good. She is able to present each character in their unique light. I could listen to her for hours.
It is a special thing to find a book that makes you laugh, tear up, and hope the main characters find what they desire. I really didn’t want the book to end. Such a good escape from all the stress of everyday life. I absolutely encourage you to read this book!
Many thanks to Dreamscape Select, NetGalley, and the author for the opportunity to listen to this ALC for my honest review.
I've read/listened to my fair share of Christmas and this one just hit the spot. I really enjoyed this book and I think that many readers will, too. While this is a romance, Eve’s journey to help five others at the holidays was a sweet story that made me root for her. It also had the feeling of a Hallmark movie with just a little bit more weight to it!
The narrator was perfect- she brought in the right amount of emotion without being overwhelming.
Five Gold Rings by Kristen Bailey was a great rom com. It started with a bang had funny characters and became very sweet. Great book for the holidays. I really enjoyed the characters and plot points.
