They bonded over music...
Theodora is the youngest iof the Grace sisters. She's intrigued by Damian, the Earl of Grimsby. Damian is loked in the past and wears a mask to hide his scars. He denies himself joy and happiness because of his tragic past. Theodroa is persistent, though. They actually don't spend too much time together and its a long slow build in a rather short book.
Recommend.
I enjoyed this story, it's a lovely and heart felt romance between Theodora and Damian behind the backdrop of a summer house party. The story progresses at a good pace and Damian slowly becomes enticed to open his heart to love towards a rewarding happily ever after for both of them.
Beautifully written, I found this tender romance pulling at my heartstrings as Theodora took her courage in her hands to woo the wounded Earl. Damian has suffered terrible losses, and unfortunately, the wounds go far deeper than his scarred face. Therefore, it was up to Theodore to go after what she wanted most, namely Damian's heart. He enticed her with his music, a passion shared by both of them and his eyes told their own story. The epilogue was rather a surprise as it did not follow the usual course, but that in itself brought a laugh as it typified the relationship between the main characters. I received a copy of this well-written novel as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I enjoyed this more than I expected. The characters are so engaging and intriguing! The plot kept me turning pages, and I will read the next books...I'm hooked and obsessed.
