I loved this book. It had everything I was hoping for from the description. The story about people getting trapped in games was fun and reminded me of Jumanji. Lawrence Essex did a great job writing it and left me wanting more.

Aa a gamer this book kept my attention throughout. The main draw for me was to feel immersed in the universe created in this book.

Action packed RPG computer game based fantasy. For everyone with a favourite computer game when they see a remake years later and just have to play. But watch out the experience may not be as expected. There is lots of action and a large cast of characters where there grouping gets change. I thought this was fun and had a Ready Player One-esque vibe going on. The book had some pacing issues and some parts could have been expanded upon but as an avid gamer, I enjoyed the similarities and "quests" that were on the page.
I would have liked more development and lore. This was a great opportunity to create something massive.
