This was a bit politics heavy but it wasn't too bad. The scenes with Anna practicing with Gabe and Sam gave off kind of wattpad self insert vibes for me. In all it was a pretty enjoyable read, and Sam was a pretty standout favorite character almost instantly.

Personally I just don’t think this book was for me. I think the characters were really difficult for me to connect with. I found Annabelle’s character to be too over the top with everything she is involved in and how she reacts to things. This book very much reads like a 2013 Wattpad novel, and while that is good for some, I do not think it suits my desires any more. However, I do think this is a book that people who want that teenage angst would really enjoy and I do think it has potential
