I loved book 2 as much as book 1! The lore and info we got into the world really created a fuller picture from where we left off in book.1. There's more steam, new characters and I was totally engrossed from start to finish. I cant wait for the next book

This was another amazing book by SG! I love this series just so much! I was an arc reader and just couldn’t put it down.

Unfortunately this was not for me. I gave it too many chances, but i had to skip certain chapters to the end after many months of trying. However, i gifted a copy to a friend who was obsessed with book 1 of this series and she gave it a 4.5⭐️. Maybe it's just me. I liked the voice of the narrators by the way.

I fell in love with this series a while ago and being able to continue it was such joy. I fell even more for these characters in this book and the plot keeps on thickening and getting better. I seriously can’t wait for book 3!

Made & Marred is amazing! This is book two of The Fated Creations Trilogy.
Both the character development and world-building in this book were great. The story was action packed! This did not suffer the middle book downfall, I was engaged the entire time and didn’t want to out it down!

Honestly? I’m obsessed. I don’t know what has been in the water lately with authors absolutely killing the sequel game but I’m here for it. I loved getting Wyotts POV in this book really bringing the whole gang together and everything they were dealing with.

I ate this audiobook up, ignoring responsibilities and finding ever chance humanly possible to listen to it. This series is so amazing and I’m already counting down the days until the finale of the trilogy.

If you loved book one, buckle up, because it only gets better from here.

This book did not disappoint! The first one quickly made its way into my top 5 favorite books but this is now just in my top favorite series!!! A book has never made me feel so many emotions and I feel like I’m going through a break up waiting for the last one to release 🤣 read read read!

Overall I enjoyed this audio. Maddox was a delight. Wyott’s pov was a nice addition (I don’t think it was in the first book). I really liked the unique take on how the vampires were created. I’m looking forward to the next one!

This is the second book in the Fated Creations Trilogy. Although it's still quite good, I feel like it suffers from the middle-child syndrome of trilogies. Book #1 was more exciting than this one. However, this also means that the final book is going to be epic.

This book has 3 points of view, but only two voice actors. Instead of just Maddox and Evaline, Wyott's POV has been included too. This can be confusing when listening as Maddox and Wyott sound exactly the same. I'm also not sure if Wyott really added much to the story, but it was interesting to meet his mate and see their relationship. It's good to see an established mate bond with characters that would be BFFs with Evaline.

Evaline also meets some sorcerers and Sage, in particular, bonds with her. Sage and her partner, Lauden, try to teach Evaline how to harness her powers. Evaline's mom comes to her in dreams and explains the history of the Kova and Vasi. We get to see more of the Vasi and their leader and learn what it's like in their head.

Overall, this book is longer, more intense, and foreshadows a lot. We see things that the reader knows but the characters don't due to multiple POVs. The book also explores more history of the world that we have entered. Evelyn loses some of her fire as she is trying to discover who she is with her powers and everything that happens with Maddox. In the end, she finally gets that fire back, but we'll see what happens in the final book. I'm excited to see what's coming and have enjoyed reading this series.

I absolutely loved this book!

I was GAGGING for this book as soon as I finished the ALC of Bound & Barbed, and once again, my girl Samantha did not disappoint.

Now this one was quite a bit spicier than the last one, which I don't mind one bit, but wanted to put it out there. I absolutely loved the additional POVs (The scream I scrumpt when I got to Wyott's POV).

Just like when I finished Bound & Barbed, I am counting the days until I can get the next book!

Literally the only thing I isn't like about the book was that it left me on a cliffhanger and I NEED TO KNOW what happens!!!!!!!!!! but that is more of a problem with my own impatience and Samantha's writing just being that Goode (get it)

the book was a good follow-up to the first but I preferred the previous book. I received an audiobook and determined I would have preferred to read the book due to the frequency of sex scenes. I just don't love listening to them. But it was a good followup in the series.

This was a good sequel to the first book. We got to see more of the world, more of the couple and Maddox's family, and another cliff hanger.

I absolutely loveeee this series! It was so fun to be back in this world. I like the mated partners. It was a great second book and I am anxiously awaiting the third one!

Overall, this book did not grab the way the first book did. The characters felt to perfect, the plot lines to clean, the writing to measured. And the sex was SO FREQUENT. It wasn't enjoyable and it started to feel like a lazy way to wrap up unfinished scenes. I ended up DNFing at about 60%. The audio was good however the male narrator seemed uncomfortable during the sex scenes of which there were many and it was awkward to listen to.

I don't even know how to feel right now. This was a rollercoaster of emotions both happy and sad.

The character development and world-building is really strong in this one. It was nothing short of perfection.

A lot happens, and I don't even know where to begin.

It will be painful waiting for the last book Sewn & Scarred. The sneak peek in the KU version.. wasn't enough, I need more😭😭

Glad I stuck around for book 2…much better this go around. There was better character and plot development, and less dragging through the chapters. Definitely had to re-listen to a few sections because I tended to get lost if any details were missed. Towards the end of the book, all I could think was "...this plot is getting messy." Book 1, Evaline was irritating and childish; however, book 2 brought redemption and she acted like a legit adult.

Truly recommend the audio version as the narrators were great. They brought the characters to life and as a reader, you felt all the conveyed emotions.

DNF at 50%, 1.5⭐️

I'm bored, the plot is extremely slow (if it even exists at all), the smut is clearly being used as filler to page the run-time, and the plot/details are inconsistent. I don't care much for any of the characters either.

It's really unfortunate because the plot held such promise.

I think it's just time for me to accept that this series isn't for me. I think these books would be good for those looking to transition from YA to adult fantasy.

Made & Marred picks up right where Bound & Barbed left off. It is told from multiple povs and is filled with adventure, magic, more relationship building, more secrets and new characters. Evangeline is even more badass in this one. |love when a fmc comes into her powers and just takes control! I LOVED the last 30 percent..the plot twist and cliffhanger were brilliant!!!! I love to be surprised in a book and this one sure surprised me in the best way!! I can't wait to see what happens in the third installment!

This book picks up exactly where book one ends .. with Evaline Manor kidnapped by the man who wants her dead most in the world, Vasi . Now it is up to her mate, Maddox Vicor along with his best friend Wyatt, to save Evaline + protect her at any cost . Evaline is the key to ending everything in this war between species . The problem is keeping herself alive long enough to save everyone + keeping Maddox out of her way so that no harm comes to him or anyone else around .

Maddox + Evaline are such a magical pair of beings . Everything about them draws you in separately but then once they are together it is down right addictive ! This love story has turned from slow burn into mad, burning, passion any chance they can get ! There are still so many dangers, secrets + lies happening but SO MUCH important information is divulged in this book that ties everything in from book 1 perfectly ! The added POV chapters from Wyatt was such an amazing treat . He is truly the best friend, brother + mate to Cora . I seriously couldn’t put this book down it was just too good ! I’m itching to find out how everything will conclude in book 3 coming next August .

THIS IS A SERIES THAT MUST BE READ IN ORDER.

I just adore Maddox and Evaline. This is definitely one of my favorite fated-mates series. Getting to see more of Wyott and meeting Cora was wonderful. I love Wyott's relationship with Evaline too... their witty banter is top knotch.

Samantha R. Goode does such a great job of world building and character development with these titles! I was feeling all the emotions while listening to this! The audiobook is amazing. The narrators are perfect!

I don't know if I can wait until August of 2024 for the final book!
