In his latest novels, Steven has created a hero who isn't an action hero. Unlike Patrick Bowers, who is a profiler in the FBI, Travis Brock is an attorney who is a redactor of FOIA requests for the Pentagon. In Fatal Domain, Brock and the rest of the Red Team are back and on a hunt that leads Travis deeper into a collision with his past. One of the things I love about Steven's books is the way they twist and turn, and this one is no exception. He's showing us what might be possible with tech and taking us to a place that we might feel uncomfortable. This is another strong installment in the Travis Brock series and one readers will enjoy.
Fatal Domain is a very well written thriller. This book is fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book. I received an advance book from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.
This is the second book in the Travis Brock Series, but this is the first that I've read, the author did a great job of bring me up to date.
This story seemed so real that I felt like I was watching the news, and yes, it seemed like it was really happening!
Will this team survive to see another day? There is so much action, and evil that is lurking here, and disregard for human life, there iare also people who use children, for the good of mankind, or their pockets?
We are left with cliff hanger, and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series!

I received an advance review copy for free from Netgalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Thank you Steven James for the opportunity to read your book. This was an incredible read. This is the second book of the Travis Brock series. After the major twist revealed at the end of book 1, we get to continue the story in book 2. I thought the book was well-written and the plot was engaging and compelling. This series feels like every time you read the book you will feel like the story is still new and engaging. I thought this book had that quality and I was on the edge of my seat. Also, I loved the characters. I love the relationship between Adira and Travis. Their chemistry was perfect. Travis is an amazing character. I thought his character was relatable and brave. He was a great character to read. Adira is another amazing character to read. She is my type of heroine. In my eyes, she is feisty and fierce. She is not willing to go down without a fight and those are the types of characters that I love. Gunner also was an exceptional character. The mystery and suspense were awesome. I thought the ending was fantastic and I am curious to see if the story will continue in book 3. I cannot wait to see what the next instalment has in store for me. Overall, an amazing read.
Wow, excellent thriller. It keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way. There are several storylines included, most of which are resolved. This book includes some romance, some faith, some spy /agents, several “bad guys”, and the “good guys”, lots of action. I had not read book 1, and although this could be read as a stand alone, I want to go back and read book 1. The ending is good but leaves the reader looking forward to book 3 also! I read on NetGalley, but my review is my own opinion.
Fatal Domain by Steven James is the second installment in the Travis Brock Thriller series. I commend James for his writing style, diverse, edgy and sometimes poetic. He climbed into the minds of his characters and made them realistic.
From Travis, the redactor, to Turo, a man born in a criminal world. I enjoyed every time Gunner was on the scene and the “book title” chat they had.
This story holds many layers to uncover, but each minor detail contributes to a larger puzzle, so I won't spoil the plot. It’s a must purchase!
Some content might be triggering which includes what has been done to children and women, though the author did not overwhelm the story with details.
I recommend Fatal Domain for anyone who loved a great thriller, with a ticking clock.
I received this book through Net Galley and was not required to give a positive review.
Travis Brock, Gunnar Bane and Adira Halprin are once again racing to save the United States security from terrorists bent on breaching that security to create havoc. This time the terrorists are after the Project Symphony prototype. This could allow them to have access to all of the FDA security information. The head of this terrorist group is a woman billionaire that thinks using any means(including terrorism) is alright as long as it is for the greater good. Travis and his team are out to stop her.
Author Steven James writes an exciting story that keeps the reader moving along as fast-paced as the characters in the story. Fatal Domain was an action-packed read from start to finish. Sometimes the action was so intense that I had to put it down for a few minutes to wrap my head around what was happening! Now that's a good read! This is the 2nd book in the Travis Brock Thriller series and I can't wait until the next in the series. As with the first book Broker of Lies this one left us with another cliff-hanger. If you enjoy thriller's and strong characters you should give this a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
I wasn't sure on this book. I havent read any books by this author so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am so glad I gave it a try.
This book was written well, it grabbed me from the first page, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book.
I loved these characters, they were relatable, they were the kind of people I'd like to know in real life.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Fatal Domain by Steven James takes readers for a wild ride. It was nice to see Travis Brock back in action again. James does a wonderful job at creating action that does not give the reader time to put the book down. I wanted to keep on reading. I needed to know what happened next. Who knows if Travis Brock will be the next Patrick Bowers, but I enjoy watching him try to explore life, relationships, and the job while trying to stay alive. Human Trafficking is talked about in the story, but James does not explore the dark side of it and show the horrors of it to the readers. The story centers around a bad group of people and how much they want to bring harm to the American people. The worst part of the plot is that it is timely and could happen at any time. A very relevant story to our culture today. Overall, Fatal Domain is the type of story that I gravitate toward. Plenty of action that I did not want to do anything else but finish the story. I really hope there are going to be more Travis Brock’s stories.
I received a complimentary copy of Fatal Domain by Steven James from Tyndale Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.
As usual, the author delivers an excellent thriller with characters that are totally believable. The story is well developed, but the message delivered is even better.
This was my second Steve James mystery, and I really enjoyed it. I found myself rooting for the good guys, but I also almost liked the bad guy (woman), which takes some skillful writing. The plot was believable, which made it slightly terrifying, which is also good in a thriller. Can’t wait for the next book!
FATAL DOMAIN by STEVEN JAMES is an exciting political crime novel with an underlying Christian message on forgiveness. It is also made clear that the human race can turn quickly to torture and murder, and that there needs to be some sort of control.
The book is un-put-downable, Nothing is as it seems and there is betrayal, there are secrets inside of secrets, spies, murderers, escaping prisoners, human trafficking, and much more….
Travis Brock, Adira Halprin and Gunnar Bane work under Colonel Clarke at the Department of Defense.
Travis is scarred from trying to save his wife Sienna when their house goes up in flames.
Five years ago Dr Maia Odongo, a neuroscientist from Uganda, gets involved with Janice Daniels in working on a cure for dementia.
Soren Beck has something to hide.
The plot involves all these people and the choices they make.
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Tyndale House Publishers. The opinions in this review are completely my own.
A good story line. I like the main characters. This is the 2nd book in a series, which I didn't realize until I was well into the book. There is a little too much gruesome content for me, but if that doesn't bother you, then try book number one in the series first.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance e-copy of this book! All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
This is a spellbinding story that had me wanting to read more right from the beginning.. An inspiration for many things about living life to the full.
