This is the absolute CUTEST little dinosaur book ever!! All four of my kids were avid swimmers and my grandson is obsessed with dinosaurs - so I couldn't wait to read him this book!! Its a goregously illustrated full color attention grabbing children's book that I'm excited to recommend! Thanks to Netgalley and Lisa Wheeler for an advanced readers copy of My First Dino-Swimming. This was a fun book to read. Each page had a stunning illustration that really helped bring this story to life. We see different dinosaurs swimming together and having a great time. As this book comes to a close something amazing ends up happening. Most kids will have a lot of fun reading this book.

A wonderful addition to the dino series, with a shorter cadence appropriate for younger children. My son greatly enjoyed the read along with me.

A fun book for dino- lovers and swimming lovers! This goes into to sport of swimming with the dinosaurs competing in different events. This would be a great introduction to the sport of swimming for young readers- especially if they have an interest with Dinosaurs! Cute and colorful illustrations make the pages very appealing which is important for young readers!

This fun, rhyming picture book for early readers is sure to be a favorite. It celebrates swimming, teamwork, and all the fun things to do in a pool. The artwork is great (my favorite is the underwater shot in the pool!). Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC!

This was a cute, short book. My son loves dinosaurs so I knew we had to read this. Dinosaurs compete in a swim meet. The illustrations are fun and eye catching. This would also be a great book to help preschoolers read themselves.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review—another great dino book from author Lisa Wheeler. Little text, excellent rhyming, and vivid pictures make this a great book for little ones.

My granddaughter loves dinosaurs and this was the perfect book for her. She’s 1 1/2 and loves to “read” books. This book held her attention while learning about what the Dino’s did at the swim meet. The illustrations were fun and colorful.

I look forward to buying her the board book when it’s released.

This is a really cute book for any child who loves dinosaurs and/or swimming. The illustrations are bright and engaging for young readers. Based on the title I thought there would be more about the dinosaurs learning to swim or getting into a pool for the first time, but it was still a lot of fun to read with my son. Definitely a great addition to a preschool classroom or daycare library!

My First Dino-Swimming by Lisa Wheeler is similar to the Dino-Holidays books by the same author. The story is simpler and focused around sports instead of holidays, but it still features similar characters and includes some simple rhymes. Very young readers will delight in the dinosaur characters as they compete at a swim meet. Simple text and fun illustrations make this a great read for babies through preschoolers.

Cute little rhythmic book for younger kids. The art work was nice as well. I would not normally have read this one but my five year old loves alot.

This is a very fast read and appropriate for a young toddler with a short attention span who loves dinosaurs and captivating illustrations.

I love the Dino sports and holiday series by Lisa Wheeler and have the majority on my school library bookshelves. The “My First” books are board books for preschool or younger. The illustrations are still full of dinosaurs and in this book they are swimming. It is funny to see a pterodactyl in water. There is still rhyming with only a few words on each page. It can be read or looked at in just minutes.

I recieved an e-arc from netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I read this with my 2 year old. It's short and the amount of words are great for a toddler. He loved the illustrations. It was a good short kids book about a dinosaur swim meet.

My son loves these books from Lisa Wheeler and we enjoyed reading this one together. My First Dino Swimming is a board book that will be published next year. It features short and easy sentences with rhymes for a fun read with your little ones. The illustrations are lovely and the same quality as the collection of books for older kids. It only took a minute to read the entire book, and we wished it was a longer. I would recommend this book for ages 1-3.
