A beautiful story of two souls who have had life challenges thrust their way in the form of loss. 💔
Grief is complex and comes in waves. I think book shows just how deeply this can be felt. I am a sucker for a single mother romance and this books shows why.
Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll, da ich es aufgrund relativ kurzer Ausleihdauer (ohne Verlängerung) nicht lesen konnte.
Resurrection by Evelyn Montgomery tells the story of 2 souls that are trying to heal.
Rose suffers depression after her passing of her husband. She has 2 small children and is struggling to make ends meet. In comes Justin who is also struggling with pain and guilt after the passing of his wife and daughter. Both are damaged but together they feel whole.
What a beautiful captivating story. I really enjoyed how raw the story was. Both Justin and Rose were on a journey of resurrection and I am HERE FOR IT!

dnf @ ~20%? i forgot.
the ~20% i did read, felt like it moved too fast. and justin is out here acting like rose is a damsel in distress but she’s literally just going through the five stages of grief. she doesn’t need some savior, she needs to get to the acceptance stage of grief. and she can’t do that when a man is insistent on barging into her life.
