I didn't realize it was part of a series and I was missing the first one. With that being said mafia romances are one of my favorites. The spice was amazing. The twists and surprises had me sucked in once I got into the book.

I wanted to like this duet so badly. I loved the snippet, I liked the characters, the spice was there and spicing.

But the writing. I don't understand how this duet has an over 4 star average. It could be because I read the ARC (Thank you NetGalley!) so it wasn't fully edited, but it read like a very long run on sentence. There didn't seem to be a lot of forethought in any of the dialogue, the story was hard to follow, and like the first one we seemed to solve all our issues with sex.

Mia/Maria and Leo have so much potential and I did enjoy what I could grasp. It's a great started, but it felt unfinished.

It was a very fast paced duet with plenty of spice
I thought the tension between the characters was very tight. Like they wanted to rip each other apart and climb each other like trees
There were so many cute moments that made me gush forever over them. I'm such a sucker for cute lines and these books definitely had me kicking my feet and giggling.
I recommend these books if you want a duet to just fly through within a couple of days.

The intense mafia drama that began in Amico, comes to conclusion. Even more twists, turns, deceit, betrayal, secrets, and cons lead the way to the satisfying resolution. Sometimes gruesome, sometimes heated, definitely for adults.

This book was too fantastical for me - even for a spicy romance. The relationships, drama, and situations seemed even more outrageous than a Lifetime movie. The writing was not bad, it was the situations and handling of the conflicts that made this book unenjoyable for me.

This book is spicy but also heart stopping at times. With betrayal hiding in the shadows and secret ruining lives, you can’t possibly put this book down without wanting to know more. This is the second book of a duet.

This story had me hooked from the start. Every time I thought I had it figured out, a surprising twist kept me on my toes. I found myself gasping at unexpected turns, and Leo and those Pearls added a delightful spice to the tale. The journey of finding love and happiness and the fear of losing it all hit hard. The characters' emotions were palpable, especially the main character's struggle with perception. I admired the depth of love and dedication portrayed, particularly the emphasis on family. Book one was enjoyable, but this sequel was better, urging me to read it in one sitting. The emotional rollercoaster, intense scenes, and unpredictable finale made it a must-read.

This book was so much fun to read. This one had me hooked. Plot wise, world building, characters, and spice. This one had such a perfect balance of everything & I loved it so much. Definitely one I couldn't put down!

The spice was top tier and the female main character was so interesting to read about. I loved this book!

The content of this novel was thoroughly entertaining and met the criteria for an erotic novel. I was quite pleased with the read and would definitely suggest it to other people. Definitely an interesting novel to satisfy ones needs for erotic content.

I really enjoyed this story and thought that it had a really good storyline.
The plot was well developed and it was well written with a really good flow to the story which kept me hooked to the story. I thought that the characters were well developed and worked well together.
The book was a mafia style story with blood and guts, sex and romance all swirled together – I wasn’t sure if it would work together but it did and it was a must read for me
I read this book straight after the first in the series, Amino and the storyline ran across both books so they are definitely ones that need to be read together.
It was a must read, kept me captivated from start to finish.
It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

A hot and spicy mafia dark romance. This is the second book of a duology.
Definitely enjoyable for those that like this genre.

This is the second book in the Dominant Love Duet. I enjoyed the premise of the book, and the plot was interesting. The story picks up as a flashback, which was confusing for me, and the plot started to quickly branch out into many directions, with many mafia families coming into the mix with very little context. In the end, I enjoyed this duet, but I do feel a little more editing would greatly benefit the story.

Wow …I think I just found my new favorite author! I stayed up till 3:00 in the a.m. to finish reading this novel … I had to know how this played out! This book rates a solid 5 stars …and I will admit, I don’t give those out too readily! There was a great job done in the development of the main character and the seconds! This book has it all – a great story line – beautiful chemistry with the main actors – there were lots of twists and turns that kept the story entertaining and fresh – and who could not pass up on those hot and steamy parts! I highly recommend anything from this author!

I will have to go back and read the sex scenes because the rest of the story was so juicy I skimmed over it all and kept going to the ACTION! So jam packed! A must read

Amante: The Moretti Family's Ruthless Empire is book two in The Dominant Love Duet by Evelyn Montgomery.
After seeing this was part of a series I jumped onto Amazon and grabbed Amico: The De Luca Family's Secret Heir book one.
Mafia romance is one of my favorites to read and Montgomery did an absolute fantastic job writing this one.
Amante was an intriguing and entertaining story.
The chemistry and banter between Leo and Maria is to die for.
This was my first Montgomery book and I was hooked from page one. These characters are dynamic and full of emotion. The plot was complex and intense, with so many moving pieces.
I can’t wait to read book three.

Just finished reading this really great piece of art, and honey, no words can formulate how great this book is. I had read the first book prior to this and just like the second book it was a great read. The author left no crumbs when it came to both book one and two. Back to book two, the characters had me crying and laughing at the same time and they were truly perfect beyond words. This book is definitely a must read
