I am speechless. What did I just read, and when can I get the next part? Without spoiling too much, I am HEARTBROKEN!
I loved everything about this book, there were so many elements from other books in this and it all fit so well together, and it’s refreshing to read a fantasy book set in today’s world. Rhi the MC was very well written, and her friend Liv said something that basically sums up who Rhi is.
“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧, 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙞𝙩.”
Because that is just who she is, caring about others before herself. Granted it can be quite dumb at times, but hey nobody is perfect.
