I really appreciate the concept of this book. But I'm finding myself stuck in the middle, with all the details of the family's time in Mormonism, wanting to just skip to the "good part" I'm assuming must be coming at the end.
I understand that the point is to show how deeply steeped they were in the ways and culture. But I wish that the book had been edited more fully for brevity and clarity. I have often been confused about the timeline of the vignettes as I read the chapters.
