I love a book I can escape into and forget the worries of daily life. This was that kind of book. The characters were fun and the story a page turning mystery. I wanted to know what happened! And when I finally did, it was worth the wait. Clever. The descriptions made the little town and the ranch come to life. I enjoyed reading this book a ton!

An engaging and entertaining murder mystery. Family issues galore. They are not putting the fun in dysfunctional. Almost didn't read due to psychic mentions, but that was admittedly fake so I was not bothered by it. Kept me guessing to the end. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.
