This is a good book. The two main characters are Elle and Rowan. They have known each other for all their lives. They dated in high school. Rowan asked Elle to marry him. She turned him down and went to New York. Elle gets fired from her job in New York, so she goes home. At that same time Rowan ask his co worker to marry him, she accepts. Elle walked into the bar right when Rowan is asking. He stays engaged for about two weeks and he ends the engagement. He asks Elle out on a date. Elle is opening a boutique. They fall in love.

Im a sucker for a small town romance and this one didnt disappoint. I very much connected to Tillie. I loved the banter between the characters which made me invested in the book.

This book was fine. I did have alot of issues with this one tho unfortunately. I struggled with how Rowan was so quick to get engaged and how blasé he was about it once he saw Elle. It made me feel icky how quick he was to abandon ship and how little he cared about Becky and her feelings just that she was means to an end. And Elle. The way she didn't even care about Becky or the fact that Rowan was in a relationship when she was kissing him. And the way she reacted and treated him when he tried to help her with her shop...icky. It was an incredibly quick read but for two adults, they acted incredibly immature.

Hinted was a different book. Someone you least expect is the 'bad guy' and the ending was a surprise. So, if you are in the mood for a detour from a normal HEA, try this one.

I enjoyed Hinted by Kristeen Groth. Elle is an extremely likeable heroine for us, but I was very frustrated with Rowan for the first half of the book. I saw where this book was going from the proposal at the beginning and won't give any spoilers, but it did frustrate me a bit because I thought that plot point dragged on a bit. Other than that, this is a very good read. I'm looking forward to the next book. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy.

The premise on this novek has me at hello! I cannot wait for Rowan and Elles love story. I am so excited to see how they find there way back and what drew them apart in the first place. This will be a perfect romantic epic romance to curl up by the fire with!
