This was the first book I have read by Hannah Langdon but it won't be the last. This was a perfect book to start of the Christmas Season. This book gives you grumpy/sunshine, small town romance, laugh out loud moments and sweet moments. I really enjoyed reading this book and I definitely recommend this book for the holiday season.

Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

Penny, recently separated after a long relationship, seeks a break by becoming the nanny to the Lord family's twins in the English countryside. This experience unfolds into charming adventures, renewed family bonds, and romance. The author explores themes of mental health and pursuing personal desires while showcasing the beauty of Christmas and the English countryside. A light, captivating, and inspiring story, perfect for the festive season. The Lords are the ideal choice for sharing Christmas!
I look forward to reading more of Hannah Langdon's books!

If you are looking for a cozy, sweet Christmas romance that reads like a Hallmark Movie look no further. With decorating the tree, making cookies, Christmas shopping, and Christmas crafts this book checks all the boxes. The romance between Lando and Penny is slow burning and sweet. ❄️🎁🎄

A nice premise but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I struggled to connect to any of the characters and it all just felt very 'meh'. I wish I could explain it more beyond that, but I just wasn't feeling it. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.

Also, the entire time whenever Serafina was mentioned I was reminded of the cat from barbie princess and the pauper lmao.

This was such a fun, cute holiday book! I loved the family dynamic the Lords had and how they made Penny feel so welcomed. This gave me a Hallmark movie feel and would definitely recommend!

Great Christmas romcom book, really enjoyed the overall story but did think it was a little long. I had a hard time getting through it which is usually not the case with this genre! I loved all the characters but feel like there were parts that could have been a little shorter, but overall loved the story and the characters! Really heartwarming romantic holiday book... would read another by this author!

I decided to start reading this on my vacation in Europe, excited to kick off the holiday reading season! While the premise was cute enough (a London woman moves to Dorset after a brutal breakup to work as a nanny for a wealthy family, featuring a Darcy-esque love interest), unfortunately this just didn’t land with me. Penny, the main character, was a bit too unrealistically “I have no confidence even though I’m beautiful”, and her “I can’t believe this handsome man would even pay attention to me” routine got old fast. 🙄 The author was clearly going for an enemies/rivals-to-lovers romance, but literally nothing happened for the first 65%, and then all of a sudden they were madly in love. It just seemed like the pacing was wayyy off.

Ultimately, this was fine for a vacation read I didn’t have to pay too much attention to or work too hard to finish, but the ending fell flat and I could have done without reading this one. 🤷‍♀️

I very much enjoyed getting to know Penny and the Lord family. Such a cozy family Christmas read.

If closed door romance is your jam this is for you. I did find myself wanting a bit more from the romance in this story. However, I loved everyone so much! I found myself wishing for a cozy pj breakfast and tree decorating with the Lords.

This is my first time reading a Christmas novel but i have to say it wont be the last, Christmas with the lords gives all those feel good vibes, from found family, to a slow burn relationship that has you hooked to the end, The Main character Penny has come out of a long term relationship and is wondering whats next for herself. She finds herself in a small town a nanny for a dysfunctional wealthy family, As the story progresses we get some great character development and i found my self giggling thru out the novel with the family's interactions. My only negative feedback would be that you dont really get much of the relationship until almost the end of the book then it kind of feels rushed, where i would have liked to have read more.

The beginning of this dragged on for what felt like forever, but once things picked up I ended up really like it. It was cute and fun, and thought it was a sweet holiday read!

Despite taking a few pages to get into this book, it was well worth it. A lovely Christmassy feeling came with it and is worthy of 4 stars.

Thanks to Netgally, author and publisher for this ARC

Christmas with the Lords is the first book that I have read by Hannah Langdon and it won’t be the last. This is a sweet Christmas romance story about a lady who recently was hurt by her long time boyfriend leaving her, so she decides to make drastic changes to her life in order to protect herself from getting hurt again. Will she take a risk and go after what she really wants or will she go the safe route to protect her heart from being hurt again? Read Christmas with the Lords to find out.
I really enjoyed reading this great story set at Christmas time. The way that the characters were written made them feel so real, which made you become invested in their happiness. I highly recommend this story to anyone looking for a sweet Christmas romance novel with unforgettable characters.

Penny, having been dumped by her boyfriend of ten years, takes a job as a mother’s help over Christmas break, at the Lord’s’ family home. Bunny, is the mother whom Penny will be helping. Bunny along with her twins (Caspian and Seraphina) are staying at her brother-in-law’s home. Lando, who is known as the grump of the family, doesn’t like Penny, right away.

As time goes by feelings develop between Penny and Lando, but will they succumb to these feelings or not do anything? Will the idea of trying a new relationship scare either of them?

This was an amazing holiday read. There were parts that had me in tears, and parts that made me laugh uncontrollably. The whole Lords’ family are an amazing bunch.

Thanks Netgalley for being a part of the ARC for this book.

After a sudden out of the blue breakup from her boyfriend Penny decides she needs a change of scenery. She takes a job as a nanny & hopes for a magical Christmas post heartbreak. This was a feel good festive Hallmark movie in a book! A very sweet story with a Christmassy backdrop to add to the feels!

Penny desperately needs a change and to get away for Christmas, Her calm, well-planned life is falling apart as her long-term boyfriend breaks up with her instead of proposing. When a friend mentions a family that needs help with their 4 year-old twins over the holidays. Penny thinks why not, Christmas at a manor house in the country is the opposite of a lonely Christmas at her house and will give her time to plan for a way to add more adventure to her life. She finds adorable, energetic twins and a family that embraces her, except for the owner of the house, Lando. He is a grumpy loner that tries to stay away from the chaos in the manor house. But as Christmas approaches he seems to be around more and Penny catches glimpses of the man beneath the cranky exterior. How can Penny create a future that includes all the things that she wants? Will this family and Lando be a part of it?

I enjoyed this holiday story. Family played such a big part and made me smile as I read it.
