I'm finally posting my review. Here's the truth...this is a difficult read, but wow it is impressive. I taught Sunday school for 5 years and I am confident I know the Bible better than the average bloke, but there is no denying that Moss is on a level far beyond me. Her knowledge, research, and insight is inspiring. Some marginalize academic study of the Bible. That is foolish. This is a masterpiece. I look forward to what is next from Dr Moss.
I give it an A.

Candida Moss's exploration of the Bible's origins in "God’s Ghostwriters: Enslaved Christians and the Making of the Bible" is a compelling journey into a niche yet thought-provoking history on the contributions of enslaved writers to the biblical texts. Moss's detailed research and engaging narrative make this book a fascinating read, challenging conventional perspectives on the Bible's making. Thank you to Little, Brown and Company and NetGalley for an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
