This novel was fabulous! I found it grabbed my interest immediately and kept it throughout the book. There were several sub-stories happening and they were well integrated. The book flowed smoothly and was easy to follow plot lines. The characters were likeable and relatable. I will bring recommending to my book club and friends/family.

The Vacancy in Room 10 is an outlandish but entertaining murder mystery thriller. It’s filled with a wide variety of characters ranging from kooky to sinister to mysterious, however I wouldn’t call them terribly well fleshed-out. But if you can suspend your disbelief, this makes for a fun and suspenseful beach read.
Thank you Seraphina Nova Glass, Harlequin Trade Publishing, Graydon House, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was gifted by Netgalley & the publisher for my honest review.
This was my second book from the author and I can now confirm that she is a consistent author for me. Her plot is engaging and the mystery is intriguing enough to keep my interest.
I will say that I can usually guess the reveals before the end of the book, which is probably due to the amount of these types of books that I read. However, I did have a good time and would widely recommend to people!

I absolutely loved On a Quiet Street, so of course I was excited for this new mystery. I highly recommend going in blind & just enjoying the ride!
This author proves yet again that she is a master of writing an intricately crafted plot with twists galore & large casts of characters without any confusion.
It was so atmospheric, I felt like I was there! I could picture life in this rundown motel-turned-apartment building in the sweltering summer heat. What starts off slow burn drama quickly turns into high stakes suspense - This popcorn thriller definitely deserves a spot on your summer TBR!

Loved this book!! Very thrilling story that kept me wanting more. I loved all the secrets and tension. The plot moved along quickly but still have great character development and twists.

🔲THE VACANCY IN ROOM 10 by Seraphina Nova Glass is a tense and wild read!
Told from multiple POV's, this story takes a grieving woman whose husband has died from alleged suicide, a woman whose rich partner found a younger option, and a community of others who are just making it work in this hotel-turned-apartment and turns out an entertaining mystery/thriller!
I do have to say this lands in the more campy thrillers. This is not a slight, just an observation. The characters are hilarious at times, and the main action feels a bit like hiding behind the chainsaws kind of decision making! I felt like this made it a bit heavier on the fun side vs the tense side of the scale. I did enjoy the way some of the stereotypes are highlighted and then appreciated!
Thank you to @htpbooks & @netgalley for this ARC which did publish on April 9th! If you are ready to be entertained by a fun suspense, this should be right up your alley!

Seraphina Nova Glass does it again! Such a gripping thrilling read that’s full of twists and turns. It leaves you wanting more. I did find a couple spelling errors but I know that will be fixed prior to the release date. Well done!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC! The Vacancy in Room 10 by Saphira Nava Glass is all about a life gone wrong. When Cass, a brash young woman, gets dumped and finds herself in a dive of an appartement complex, she can’t believe her bad luck. Working as the handy ma’am, she meets several people who quickly welcome her into the fold. Through a series of poor decisions, she finds herself in a tight spot that only her new friends can get her out of. She often even wonders if she’ll live to see tomorrow. The story starts off very confusing as the characters are introduced and the plot lines run parallel to one another and don’t seem to intersect. However, the intensity picks up and the slow burn creeps in. This, ultimately, held my attention until the culmination of the storylines intersected. The story line got more intense and far fetched but I ended up loving it. I would recommend to others who enjoy mysteries.

This was such a fun read! I was hooked from start to finish and just when I thought the story was going one way the author surprised me and took it another way so I was constantly on my toes. I loved the setting of this book and the little community that was formed in this small run down apartment complex. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a quick, fun thriller.

i did not enjoy this one. a lot of words and details but i think there was no substance to it. i don't understand the high praise this book is getting from so many people/reviews on goodreads. "best thriller of 2024"...don't get it

This was a solid psychological thriller with a bit of sass. Anna's husband calls her in desperate straits, making a vague confession that he did something that is truly terrible. Then he is found dead. Anna checks into a building where her husband kept his art studio which is in a run down building with a cast of characters. Anna is trying to find clues to what happened. This building is managed by Cass who is someone who is down on her luck and does not really want this job but needs a place to live. Anna and Cass eventually come together to solve this murder. There were moments where the book was a bit confusing and where my attention drifted but I liked the characters and it was a solid thriller and I would definitely explore other books by this author.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

While enjoyable, this missed the mark for me a bit. Things didn't tie together, as there was a lot going on. It could've benefitted from focusing on just a couple of the dramas. It was a slow burn, which isn't my preference. Most of the twists take place near the end of the book, and there was a surprise ending that I appreciated. I also enjoyed the dual POVs.

This book was wild! So many things going on but I was there for it! I enjoyed the setting, the character depth and the author's writing style. Her dry humor and strong female lead definitely speaks to me.
Told from 2 points of view- Cass and Anna. Each of them at the Sycamores for their own reasons. Anna's husband kills himself after a cryptic phone call and she arrives to clean out his studio, Cass finds herself at The Sycamores after a failed relationship. Both women seem to be surrounded by people who seem to have a lot of secrets and they all seem to be intertwined with these dumpy apartments.
I am excited to read more by Serephina Nova Glass! This book moved fast and I had all kinds of scenarios unfolding in my head! The character's were incredibly complex and the detail the author used to describe them really brought the story to life. The sarcastic tone of Cass was my favorite.
Overall fun read!! 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow, this was SO addicting! I devoured it in like two days. This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be reading more from her in the future. Everything you could want in a thriller - fantastic cast of characters, creepy motel setting, perfectly-paced building suspense. Definitely a must-read thriller of the year, highly recommend!

A heartfelt thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing, Graydon House for providing the digital ARC that introduced me to this captivating read.

The Vacancy in Room 10 is my first Seraphina Nova Glass thriller and I will definitely pick up her past reads. She captivated my attention from the beginning and kept me hooked with her authentic character development and twists and turns. The book told two seemingly unrelated stories which added to my wonder about how it would all come together. I did wonder about a few of the details but they did not affect my enjoyment of the book. This novel was released on April 9 so it is available now!
Thank you Net Galley, Harlequin Trade Publishing (Graydon House) and Seraphina Nova Glass for the opportunity to preview this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

I was so impressed with how this book captured my attention right away. The storyline really gripped me and I didn’t put this down once I started it. Read it in one sitting and loved it. Definitely recommend!

A story of two unseemingly unconnected stories of two women that have found themselves living a very different life than they are used to at a run down apartment complex converted from a motel - full of strange and interesting residents. The story was face paces and keeps you wondering what really happened. I rated it 4 stars. See my full review @ jillandjackets on TikTok

Seraphina definitely knows how to capture and keep your interest when it comes to thrillers! I will not miss any of her books! I loved the stories between Anna and Cass and how they ended up becoming intertwined. From the explosive opening to how the story ended for both women...I would highly recommend this book!
