Shameless Sex has some empowering messages and offers a refreshing, sex-positive perspective that encourages self-acceptance and open conversations around pleasure and intimacy. The tone is friendly and accessible, which makes it an easy read.
However, I found that while there were a few helpful takeaways, the content was a bit repetitive at times and didn’t go as in-depth as I was hoping. It felt more like a broad overview rather than a deep dive into topics around sexual wellness and healing.
Overall, it’s a good starting point for anyone looking to explore these topics, but it may leave some readers wanting a bit more depth or guidance.

As a newly divorced woman, this book was an insightful read. Thank you for allowing me an advanced copy of this book which has really helped me. I would recommend this book to any other woman who is on a journey.

I started following this podcast so I knew I wanted to read the book. The authors are informative without being preachy. There's a lot of good information here.

I read this with no prior knowledge of Amy and April's podcast and as a fairly sex-positive person myself. With that said, I didn't find a whole lot of information that was useful to me, but I also recognize that I'm obviously not the target audience for the book.
The book seems to repeat things a lot, but I suppose that is fair given the "read the parts relevant to you" nature of the book. I think the book could be useful for someone struggling with their sexual identity. I do feel the content was a little heavy on the monogamous heteronormativity and could have been a little more inclusive, but I do appreciate that Amy and April were able to use their own experiences to allow people to relate.

Shameless Sex : Choose Your Own Pleasure Path to Unlock the Sex Life You've Been Waiting For. This book is aimed at all genders, sexuality preferences, ages, and relationship status's and encourages you to uncover your own pleasure path. All sorts of questions and topics are covered, and above all else you are made to feel normal and safe regardless of where you are on the pleasure path. A really open and interesting read.
